Hey, guys. So, that Sonic story I mentioned is going to be broken into small chapters since I couldn't finish the whole thing in time for today. It's going to be at least 5-6 chapters since the story I have planned is short enough.
In other news, on my fanfiction account I uploaded something that's been sitting on my iPad for months now, the first chapter of Sonic Boom: Equestria Girls.
It's Sonic's 26th Anniversary so I thought showing one chapter wouldn't hurt. Don't expect that to get updated consistently until I clear my backlog a bit.
But would anyone object if I show it here? I'm a little hesitant considering, again, my backlog here and my track record with updates. So just know it won't get updated until I clear myself off a bit.
Is Sonic Boom Equestria Girls as bad as Sonic Boom was? Even I am outraged by Knuckles in that game, and I am not a Knuckles fan... I like Tails... rule 63 Tails is a personal weakness of mine. I never played it, but I did watch the Grumps play it. (Game Grumps in case you are unfamiliar with shortened version) I am not the biggest fan of Sonic out there. The only Sonics I have experience with are Adventure/Battle, Sonic Advance, Sonic Battle (GBA) and that's pretty much it. I like and hate Sonic. I think the fandom is nuts sometimes with the shit they do, and Sonic Dreams Collection pretty much killed my enjoyment of everything except Adventure and Battle.
I like early 3D Sonic before the newer console games.... but your story sounds interesting.
4581049 I'm basing it off the TV show, which is much better than Rise of Lyric (which honestly was the only crappy thing to come out of this spin-off: the 3DS games, comics and show are way better). The show is actually well regarded. And I'm aware of the Game Grumps.
If it makes you feel any better, Boom Knuckles being stupid means that Modern Knuckles can be competent again (and from what we've seen he's actually smart again and is going over a well-rounded strategy in a video).
I think Dreams Collection was just a parody of how bizarre the fan base can get. Heck, Sonic Boom even took a few shots at the crazier side of the fandom if it's any consolation.
For instance, Team Sonic complained that their favorite game character had their arm color changed, mentioned that games shouldn't be 3D cause 2D games are superior, Sonic referenced that his fans criticize everything he's done and in that same episode found a "spicy" Sonamy fanfiction.
But I respect your opinion. Battle and Adventure are good games.
