That while most of our headcanons are still ruined, I must say that this is a lot more touching than I thought it was. True it's got a Romeo and Juliet vibe, but it's not so much a "Clash of Clans" story like we got with "Of Hooffields and McColts." And the ending with Gran Pear (voiced by Willaim Shatner) and Granny Smith reconciling each other after so long is touching as well (personally, my father's side of the family has gotten through a rut following my grandmother's passing).
How does this affect the Jongojiverse? 
Well, while the episode shows that Bright Mac and Pear Butter were affectionate since they were toddlers, my headcanon involves them (under the names Seville Orange and Blue Pearmain respectively) first meeting in business, then business becomes the pleasure as the two balance each other out and pleasure brings children. In a way, my story is based on how my parents met each other; through my mom, my dad had his first taste of beef stroganoff.
They don't say how they passed on, so that little bit of headcanon is still open from Pink Rose' story of being killed fighting Timberwolves, to my story of them killed in a flash flood herding sheep, both while Apple Bloom was a baby.
Nor is it mentioned regarding the Orange'; perhaps it's Pear Butter who has Orange relatives, while I'd imagine Bright Mac having siblings to help explain Braeburn and Babs Seed.
I'm expecting a song cover to show up soon (I'd imagine Wubcake doing so, she and Felicia Day do sound alike), but overall this is a very touching story, one you wouldn't be disappointed.
