The Coming Firestorm Update: Plans, plans, plans · 8:11pm Jun 7th, 2017
Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Just thought I’d drop in and talk to you guys about what I have planned for The Coming Firestorm series in the future. Hopefully, I’ll be able to see these plans through to completion, but you all know me and how that usually works.
I’ve already mentioned how the Displacer responsible for Kilroy DeRemurr and Rex Edwards merging into one being (in true Firestorm fashion no less) will be sending Displaced people who have the powers of DC villains after Firestorm and how Shining Armor and the military get involved because of all the magical shenanigans going on there, and as a result, go after Firestorm in an attempt to capture him and learn the secret to his power, but I didn’t mention the third aspect of the story: the magic leaking onto Earth from the portal. You see, when that begins to happen, it’s not just the Mane 7 who get powers based on their equine counterparts. While I’ve yet to work out the kinks, you can be assured that nearly everyone who has a known Equestrian counterpart will have an ability or two. For example, Vice-Principal Luna gets the ability to use the Royal Canterlot Voice, which quite often blows out a speaker or two on the school intercoms, in addition to superstrength and alicorn/unicorn magic, like what Sci-Twi can do. Principal Celestia gets similar abilities, except her magic seems to... set stuff on fire. And when she uses her Royal Canterlot Voice... well, she gonna have a pretty big bill from the window replacement services in the city. Shining Armor gets the power to create magical sheilds and what not. Of course, this also means that the Eqquestria Girls counterparts of the Pony-verse get powers too, creating more problems for Firestorm and company. But, this bit of it won’t happen until the sequel.
