Story on Patreon · 5:00pm Jun 5th, 2017
The idea behind this story started in 2007 between me and a group of friends, each character is based off of each one of us and taken to as much of an extremity as we thought we could back then. Hope you all enjoy the story, and feel free to support me on Patreon for early access. www.patreon.com/poncho
For anyone interested here is the first chapter, more is to come and as said above. Early access is to patreon supporters.

I started my own Patreon with writing stories. Are there any tips you can give me on doing it right?

I just started doing this only a week ago, so I’m in the same boat you are. But from what I’ve seen when it comes to artists, keep some of your work locked on patreon for a short period of time. Then start releasing your work with reminders that you have more, and there’s a chance for early access.

Hmm. Like my Spike x Celestia stories on here for example?
4559270
Yes.
4559436
Ah. About the live button, when you click it, your page is now fully active?
4559468
I have no idea, I’m not even sure I clicked on it. Check it and find out what it does.
4559511
I'm gonna do it later. I'll update you when I do.

Apparently, it does go live when you click that button.
4559932
As in it advertises your page for you?
4559965
No advertisements, but it is live.

Also, is it optional to charge my patrons?
4559995 Ya you can set all posts to public rather than setting the posts to patreon only, this will allow people to view things for free without having to pay for anything. Though the idea behind Patreon is to make money for your work, while still doing what you enjoy.

Hmm. I think I will try that out first.
4560513
Alright, just remember you can set your patreon posts to have a wait time before going public.

Alright. Thanks. I'll let you know how things go.
