They are spirits that take the form of a canine made of a kind of wood, branches, moss, sap.
What ponies know is that they are genderless. But some woodcutter stallions (mostly them) have claimed that they had encountered a female alpha like wolf when they were captured and taken deep into the forest. That female wolf then made the stallions mate with her.
And several days later the stallions will be seen unconscious at the forest edge and several months later it would be an increase in those wolves.
Scientists agree that further study are needed to observe of this creature.
Wyvern:
Dragons cousins. They are more feral and wild to their nature than dragons. They have two back legs and the front legs have the wings (as opposed to the dragons that have their wings on their back)
They have some intellect and they are most of the time harassing and having quarrels with the dragons on more than one occasion, be it for territory, past quarrels, mates or just because they are bored.
Female wyverns capture male dragons now and then during the mating season, fly them back to their nests or a nearby high location and ride them until they cum inside them.
Afterwards they dump the male or leave him for the dragonesses to find., often stinking of their musk (their musk is rather sticky and strong, it is similar to skunk extract). That will not go away for some time and letting other dragons know that that male has been mated by a wyvern.
