Procrastination Strikes Back!

As of reading this, what little amount of followers I have had, are probably fed up with waiting or gave up on ever seeing or reading Resident Crusader. I have always had horrible HORRIBLE with a capital F word issues with procrastination and time management are atrocious and borderline nonexistent. Below the break, I will tell you what is thus planned!

While at this time I haven't gotten anything written except a title and a notion of where to take this trilogy. Yes, a trilogy based on Resident Evil's 4, 5 AND 6 are in the works and I have a base idea and plans. As of this moment, I don't have plans for an adaption of 7, much as I enjoyed that game to pieces. I don't know when I will get to work. I can of course force myself to write, but it won't come from the heart. Every time in the past I have written after forcing myself to write, I got in the swing of things, this time seems to be different. While I am not in a hard place except psychologically, I really want to get comfortable with my writing before doing so. I want to write because I WANT to, not after forcing myself to. Which amounts to the same thing now that I think of it

I actually have nothing delaying me in my life except video games (and on rare occasions I delay with fanfiction when applicable) But I have fantastic ideas and whenever I do submit something, I can promise you that I will more than make up for it. I am one of the few people who legit enjoy Resident Evil 6 and have read a bunch of TV Tropes pages for 6 and have gotten my ideas from the Wasted a Perfectly Good Character tropes for the game. If you want a clue as to some of my ideas (won't tell which as it is book 3 and the finale as well as a drastic spoiler) then check out 6's TV tropes page under YMMV.

For 5, Sheva fans will be slightly upset as her role is delegated to minor character status, same as Josh actually. Sheva shows up for plot important reasons, same as Josh and vanishes with him. Being a pony crossover, I don't think I can balance Pony with RE and Chris doesn't need that many partners!

4 is largely the same. I change things here and there to be different to the original I had written and it isn't as game dependent. This first story operates under heavy head-canon (especially for Scoots) and earns it's Alternate Universe tag. This first chapter alone sets up how vastly different to Equestria of the show this story is.

In addition to this trilogy that is being written at a slower than snails pace, I have planned stories that use ideas and characters from Happy Tree Friends (largely a deconstruction and absolutely NOT a comedy) and a Nightmare on Elm Street themed story that isn't the norm for the idea.

Then on top of that I have a non pony themed story based on the Alien movies except NOT. That story is a villain protagonist themed story about a six year old girl that was brought to her parent's place of employment (guess where :P) and an outbreak of Xenomorphs quickly prove how unfortunate timing that all is. Left behind (unwillingly) she is quickly captured and harvested... only surprisingly she absorbs part of the baby's DNA and becomes part Xeno and assimilated into the hive. This spells doom for the marine population that is sent to investigate the space station. If I ever write it, I will link to interested parties.

So I haven't been lacking in ideas, I just have to sit down and use them. Resident Crusader promises to be very interesting and exciting a trilogy. If any of you out there exist that love the idea of the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Resident Evil, then please give me some time. I can't guarantee a set time I will release the first seven chapters or whatever I write, but if you want to speed it up, comments and helpful encouragement will speed up my motivation.

If any tropers exist on the site, I would love that as well. I am probably addicted to that site and it would be a dream come true if I get any of my stories a published page. TV Tropes is responsible for like 70% of my ideas. I apologize for the extremely long wait!
