I write pony words that people seem to like. I also review fics and draw purty pictures, apperently. I'm an older fan of MLP, so expect a lot of 80's references.

Welp, it's been a YEAR, down to the DAY, since my last blog post.

This means nothing, I was just noticing the dates.

But while I got you here, I'm gonna throw up some SFW art I've done recently.

It's 2am on Thursday, and I have an idea for NEW Pinkie Pie Loves Bacon Bits content. (plus ARTPOSTING#3)

I woke up with a fully formed idea for a new chapter in my silly anthology of scenes where Sunset Shimmer is haunted by pony!Pinkie lodged DEEPLY in my mind and I think I'm going to write it. I'm in a writerly mood. Apparently.

Are you still in a Spooky mood?

This flew under my radar yesterday, so I just woke up to find it and it is just as sweet as all that discounted candy! Give it a listen and pop over to Lostus's page and drop a like or a comment or something. This is top tier work!

Wordposting (Really a 6K word long 'scene' and a half from the OF I'm working on)

I posted a little section of this last blog, but I think I'm happy where this is at right now. Obviously this takes place in the midst of a larger narrative, so there might be some/a lot of context that's lost here, but the gist is a couple of priests and a warlock form up an adventuring party and before they even have their first outing, some shit goes down at the tavern.

    10 years of this.

Happy birthday to the version of Pony that made my life more than a little brighter.

These hoofed ruminates (and their humanoid counterparts) will always have a special place in my heart.

The fever has gone down. I can mostly see out of both eyes. The swelling is still there...oh well. But the bleeding has stopped!

Time to whip out some hot, fresh words!

I am both happy and sad for you.

Fuck is happening to you, friend? You okay? Do you need to lie down??

I always need to lie down these days.

Long story short, I have a chronic illness called Psoriatic Arthritis. It causes constant fatigue and pain. Since the disease is caused by my own immune system attacking other parts of me, the main treatment is medication that weakens my immune system. Which in turn makes me more likely to get sick or have infections. On top of that, I do have an infection that is causing swelling and random fevers. I'm on separate medication for THAT.

Then last night, one of my eyes starting swelling up after I did a little cleaning. That was likely caused by dust I stirred up. Still stings a bit, but the swelling there is gone. And then, I had to take my shot for the immune system BS and that left me bleeding for a bit.

Then insomnia, cuz why not, ya know?

I did however, get some more words down for the next Crackshipping fic.

4539333 Oh. Okay. Then I'm glad you're feeling a bit better! Be sure to keep an eye on that swelling, though. Just in case.

What seems to be the problem?

I had an infection. With my compromised immune system, getting over infections is tougher than it otherwise would be. But it's almost completely cleared up at this point.

4554586 I just read the rest of the post replies and found out about the Psoriatic Arthritis and the medication that compromises your immune system. Hence the infection. Jeeze it sucks to have that. Any hope on the horizon for the disease? How are your kidneys?

Well it hasn't gotten any worse...I think? My kidneys are soldiering along. That my medication is fighting the worse of the conditions to a standstill is hopeful. Perhaps it will eventually send the PA into remission and my immune system can start to recover. In the meantime, it means preventative care is top concern for me to keep other illness and infection at bay.

Damn, I hope it clears up. Relax and do all the necessary things to settle the PA down. Salt baths, meditation, recommended medication and anything else needed to have it take a rest. Heck a stay in hospital might be needed if it can help. Remember your health issues are first priority for you. No stress too!!
