Gelato "Gel" Pen (Earth pony)
Gel is a writer for a national newspaper called The Equestrian Scoop.
She has a blue mane and a salmon coat.
Her cutie mark is a pen drawing a spiral.
She has a tendency to write more heart-felt, saccharine stories than her colleagues.
Though most would describe Gel as unusually nice, she can get rather scary when she feels insulted.
Interrobang (Unicorn)
Bang is an investigative journalist working for The Equestrian Scoop.
He has a brown mane and an orange coat.
His cutie mark is a magnifying glass illuminating an interrobang (a hybrid between a question mark and an exclamation point).
He is rather excitable and sometimes forgets about personal space and boundaries when he's hot on the tail of a big scoop.
Bang enjoys looking for mysteries and conundrums, which are his favorite topic of investigation.
Jazzy Waffles (Unicorn)
Jazzy is a childhood friend of Bang and Gel, and works as a restaurant owner and cook in Manehattan.
He has a black mane and yellow coat.
His cutie mark is a waffle shaped like a musical note.
He loves musicals and music in general, and is a decent singer.
He is most skilled in making breakfast foods, thus why his restaurant, Pancake Paradise, is usually only open until noon.
