hOI!!!
We just got the letter confirming that our 4th panel in the Coping With Limitations Through Pony series, "Determination Is Magic", is a go for BronyCon 2017!
The team this year is as follows...
Yosh E. O'Ducky (Myself)
Doodle Noodle
Sapphy
I know I said I was going to retire after last year. However losing the last of my sight has prompted me to make one more bold entry into the Baltimore Convention Center. MLP: FiM played a super big part in my coping with losing the rest of my physical sight. Now with it all gone I would like to triumphantly return to show that I walk-the-walk as much as I've talked-the-talk after all these years. Moreover to show people how even losing a sense does not mean you can't still enjoy life for all it's worth.
Doodle Noodle, Ari, and I are in the beginning stages of our presentation. It is a strong one that will discuss "The Psychology of Friendship" while how life traumas can actually help us if we look at them from a different point of view.
I'm working to raise money right now to help make it all happen. My biggest hope is that one of my job leads pans out. Regardless I will be there with Doodle, Ari, and everyone who has, since 2013, made me feel welcome without making my disability a negative. The convention is a super place to feel what our team's message has always been about. this being "Acceptance", "Understanding", "Empowerment", and "Community".
Thank you all for your support as I make it through my first full year of having gone totally blind. The job front may be kind of an uphill battle but I know "Determination" will allow me and the team to forward positive advocacy before, during, and after BronyCon!
