BronyCon 2013 - Part 1:

Between returning to work and seeing “Snowdrop” I made my first friend since moving to Camp Hill, PA, Benjamin Platt.
Ben was also into MLP: FiM and genuinely interested in attending BronyCon. This year the convention was to be held in Baltimore, MD, which was less than a two hour drive away. He offered to drive me and my six year old son, Ethan, down to attend the event. Having a genuine friend and my son go to BronyCon on the exact one year anniversary of when I was hospitalized as a result of surgical complications meant a lot on so many levels.
The following link is a brief summary of the highlights of BronyCon 2013. Forthcoming entries will further elaborate on how Coping With Limitations got its start along with how Ben, my son, and BronyCon staff and attendees played a pivotal role in helping me further accept my pending total blindness as something that would not end my life but rather simply make it a bit different.
