"Revelations (Part II)" Chapter Release! · 7:35pm Apr 27th, 2017
At last! The long wait is over! But anyway, *ahem* welcome back, everypony! It's your old friend Cavalryunit001, and I'm just ecstatic by the news I have for you guys. On that note, let's get started... before Pinkie Pie decides to jump in and throw a party (Man, she's good at bypassing walls!)
First and foremost - and I'm sure you already know by this point - it's done. Part II of "Revelations"... is finally... comPLETE! It took me a while since I recently got a new job, but I managed to perfect it before the end of this month (and let me tell you: I never came to expect achieving that.) Now that I have, I am pleased to announce that "Revelations (Part II)" will be released tomorrow - on Friday, April 28, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time (U.S. & Canada). I put in countless hours to make it awesome, and so I am confident that you guys will like it. I hope that any comments you'll leave for me on the chapter itself will prove me right.
Second, I want to address the fact that I only put up one blog post for this month. While I'm disappointed that this is the only one I'll make for this month, I can't say I COMPLETELY regret it. You see, my friends, I'm a busy man. Like all other humans, there is only so much I can do (and am willing to do) for other people. Also, I don't always have news for you guys. When you think about it, the whole point of a blog post is to provide updates and news on whatever subject the blogger wants to discuss. What would be the point in making one if I have nothing new to give to you guys? Now I'm not trying to provide excuses for slacking off on making my blog posts. I'm just trying to make sure I make each of them worth our time. I don't want to bore you with information you already know. The take-away from this is that don't always expect me to make a blog post every two weeks. I will probably post just one during each month when there is a shortage of updates. So yeah... if you think there's no news about BTROAH during a few weeks or so of silence, you're most likely right.
Lastly, but certainly not the least by any means, I want to discuss the nature of "Exodus" (the third chapter of the story). To be quite frank with you, everypony... this chapter is the only one out of them all that I had ANY problems with. It gave me some bad vibes in the past - when the story was in its pre-write stage - but I always dismissed it as paranoia induced by concerning myself too much over whether the chapter was good or not. Even today, with the story rewritten, these vibes remained in my mind like a horrid stench. I couldn't really figure out why it was so until one of you guys brought it up to me in the comments section. Apparently - or, maybe NOT so apparent in my case - there seems to be an issue with the shift in Jack's ("Bladewing's") love life. I couldn't understand it at first but after careful review, I realized it was indeed the case. I may have given him a new girlfriend a little too soon. "So what are you going to do about it?", you may ask? Well, fillies and gentlecolts, my solution is simple: just add more to what is already there. However, these new additions to my story will not be released with this new chapter. I only just mentioned them in this blog post, after all. More information will be revealed in the next one. Just know for now that the story will be given a retroactive upgrade... and that you have your fellow brony R.A.P.M. to thank for it.
So there you have it, everypony. I have given you quite a bit of information on this story (more than even I expected to give). I hope I have sated your curiosity and addressed any concerns you may have regarding the status of this tale. And with that said, I will continue with my work. Thank you for tuning in, and I look forward to hearing your voices tomorrow.
(P.S.: There's one last thing I want to reveal to you all, and it is this: there will be a minor "change" in where Bladewing lives in Equestria. My reasoning: let's just say I want something a bit more... original.)
