Progress on 8 · 3:43pm Oct 2nd, 2012
Chapter 8 is roughed out. It includes a good dose of explanation, recrimination, and plot progression. The next major development is here, and I finally make reference to the title of the story. Yay!
For my part, I've been getting more writing done by scheduling time in the morning, so I can simply write and not worry about other stuff. Moreover, writing at that time of day seems to give me a boost in creativity and will to get things done. Plus it means I at least get something done in the morning! That isn't always easy, as it seems the allure of the vacuous internet is strongest, or my will to resist weakest, first thing in the morning. So not only do I get some writing done, I have more time and energy for the rest of the day. It's a good system, I'm just lucky right now to have free time during the AM hours.
Anyhow, I have a list of edits I want to do on chapter 8, which ended up running a little long, and will probably only gain length with the edits. Then it may take a while to find prereaders and do revisions etc. But it is written out already, so it's at least halfway through the process.
