Update No. 15 · 2:28am Apr 13th, 2017
Just a quick update for everyone following Consanguinity and my writing in general.
I'm sorry it's taken so long to get the next chapter of Consanguinity everyone, but unfortunately seasonal blahs stole quite a bit of my motivation in the past couple of weeks and I'm having a little bit of a problem getting it back.
All cards on the table, I was having a really hard time seeing the second half of the story. I had a really strong vision of what I wanted it to be up until the halfway mark (i.e. when Starlight made the decision to stay in the Crystal Kingdom) and a little bit of what I wanted after that, but there was this huge, squishy gray area between there and the ending for the longest time. I took this time and have actively mapped out where the rest of this needs to go, so I'm ready to get going once more.
I thank all of you for your patience and enthusiasm towards this project, and I hope that you'll look forward to the next chapter. :3

I hope things go well for you, and i look forward to the next chapter as always your real life comes first so focus on that first always.
I've had that issue before: knowing where you want to take something and just having that huge, undetermined gray area. Damn, it's obnoxious. Take your time. I hope I speak for everyone when I say I'd much prefer a well thought-out story than something that was rushed because you felt you had a deadline.
Sweet! Take your time with the upcoming chapters and don't forget to enjoy life!
