KIDS AIM CHEAP SHOTS AT VCR/VHS FOR THE EMBRACEMENT OF THE MAINSTREAM · 12:56am Apr 13th, 2017

I feel that this is a cheap shot. It's blatantly obvious - and I dare say blatantly - that folks that I follow that are the kids' age such as Ally Jessa, TylerTristar2IsBack, VHSFan2003 Productions, and other people that, like me, (a) are at the age level of the kids in this video and (b) clearly have had a history with the VHS format weren't auditioned to be on this video, nor were people like me who know how VHS works and aren't interested in seeing the process of how it works get dumbed down for the mainstream audience's embracement.

One of the people I talk to on FIMFiction, The Narwhal Assassin, generally hates, among other things "legitimately stupid [and/or] close-minded people." The kids hired are trained to be legitimately stupid toward the format by FIne Bros. Entertainment, whose entertainment preferences are clearly close-minded.

The Fine Bros and their Reactions make me want to die.

There is no way that kids that age don't know what a VCR is or a flip phone. I agree that it's fake for the sake of entertainment. Although I did get a chuckle at the boy who said he would rather do his homework.

4494413 The flip phones video is actually from BuzzFeed Blue, and was posted during the golden age of BuzzFeed. I will take a look at it.

4494398 Also of note is that all-caps title: arguably the snappiest title you will ever see to a Fine Bros. review since their video titles are in all-caps.

4494444 I'm aware, but it's still the same concept. People that age should have at least had 1 flip phone in their lives.

:rainbowderp: I'm amazed that so many if these kids didn't know what a VCR is... Kids these days don't know anything about older technology. And considering I still have my VCR and oldern TV (both still alive and working), I'm amazed nobody knows about them. *sigh* I remember the good old days, when I played all day on my NES, and watched cartons on the VCR. Actually... I still do all of that. My family had those things back in the beggining of the 1990s, you have to give me credit for them still working semi-well. :derpytongue2:

4494703 Again, you look at many of the kids that I referenced in this review (they're on YouTube), and they weren't approached because they actually know a thing or two about older technology, something that would sort of piss off the Fine Bros.

4494703 And just because I felt like coming back here, there is a reason why I've been posting VHS openings on this website, both those made using my own DVD recorder and those made by others that I felt should be posted here. Also, that same reason applies to why I've done videographies on VHS distributors. If you have a G+ account, I suggest you check this group out while you're at it: https://plus.google.com/communities/114653232299215591962

I will also have another VHS update to go up soon.
