...Under the clearest of blue skies

Anyone who has played Tetris Attack for the SNES may be familiar with this delightful line. Not that there is anything wrong with clouds. :)

You all have given me such a wonderful reason to think on this statement. Friendships are so special in how they do not require talking each-and-every day to be strong. What makes them so delightful is forever leaving a door open for those you know, or may meet, to join you in our adventures.

We all have sunny days and rainy days. We all aspire to enjoy the clearest of days, but often are happy to spend most under partly cloudy skies. After all, one must know bad to know good. Too much of either would defeat the purpose of living. This is why partly cloudy skies are a great place for personal growth alongside those you care for and care for you.

For me, I can tell you how my rainiest of rainy days have helped me to appreciate the clear and sunny ones. More importantly is how the stormiest of days always do clear to new opportunities. Even if there are a few clouds you know that the rain will not last forever.

Some sunny days ahead for me include working with Ari Kunofsky and Nishi to self-publish two new books! These are aimed towards children ages 8 to 12. The first, City of solitude, is what I intended to end the "Welcome to Saurral Manor" series of picture books I've proudly worked on with so many friends and family since 1999. The second book, Adventures in saurral Manor, will be a collection of stories that would not convert well to a children's picture book but do have importance in illustrating the depth of the characters in "City of Solitude" along with the world that they live in.

Another opportunity is working as closely as possible with "Coping With Limitations Through Pony" colleague, Richard Merryfield, on a truly revolutionary game called COLORS. Richard has done a fantastic job in writing music, programming, and developing the story for this delightful title in which is filled with loads of insight along with adventure. If you'd be interested in seeing how it is progressing, I encourage you to visit https://www.facebook.com/ColorsChromatics/

I am also working to return to BronyCon to proudly present the "Coping with Limitations: Determination Is Magic" panel. If selected I will working alongside colleague Ari Kunofsky and Doodle Noodle to show more of how we can thrive despite any challenges life may throw our way. More importantly, for me, I will be going with absolutely no eyesight. This, to me, is quite symbolic in how I want to prove to myself and others that any limitation is no reason to not try to live life to its absolute fullest.

The "Cutie Mark" I live by is that of Rainfeather from G1 Pony. It is a duck holding an umbrella that is deflecting rain. I like to see myself as that duck. The umbrealla a reminder that I can stay confident even on the rainiest of days. I can also offer this umbrella to aid others through objectively sharing my trials and tribulations so they may be able to know they, too, can make it through anything so long as they remember that it can't rain forever.

All of my friends and family are that umbrella. I could not have made the umbrella of self-confidence and self-validation that I did without all of you. It is my goal to find success in life while forever doing all I can to take my life's experiences to help aid others so they may know, as I learned, the storm may come and make us soaking wet with despair, but there is always a dry place to warm up and take heart in how you can always find cover while learning how to make your own umbrella of support.
