Good News · 1:37am Mar 9th, 2017

So today was one of those long days that I'm personally so glad is over. I got the news at about 10PM last night that they'd found something so Dad was going into surgery first thing in the morning...

Then first thing turned into 4PM

They took Dad back and... honestly I was a basket case... I did find a story and managed to console myself. But I was at the hospital with Dad from 9AM...

Then Mom went out this morning only to find the hot water heater had fallen through the floor... Gotta love old houses. We've got someone up there getting it fixed. But when it rains... it POURS!

That's the negative all out of my system.

OH MY GOODNESS GOD CAME THROUGH! It has been a long time since I've seen God work miracles, and he did it TWICE in one day Three times if you count the fact that despite the mild water leak, the hot water heater is still useable....

First was in the form of this puppy.

A little something we found for 75$ at an estate sale. And something we've been praying HARD for.

Second blessing... when the doctors went in to clear out the block... it was gone. So either it never was and the test was faulty... or God cleared it out. Either way, it's good to know Dad will only have a week recovery. He will be heading home here in about an hour. Mom will text me when he gets there. We still don't know 100% for certain what happened... but the doctor says he's clear.

God is Good... God is real good and I want to thank ALL of you for praying. He's got a road of recovery, but I'm so thankful I still have my father.

Now let's not do this again anytime soon hum

And no I'm not sitting with anyone else in no hospital. I'm only getting to this now because after I got home I took an hour hot soapy bath. But it has a good ending. I honestly feel kinda silly with how bad I freaked out... but that's just kinda me. We found out just how good of a gag reflex I have... XD The nurse was cracking up, and Dad was being downright annoying teasing me about it. But it's over. Thank God it's over.

Thank you. Thank you, thank you for praying! God has wrought a mirical and I couldn't be happier. I was so worried... but it's over.

Now I'm gunna... I don't know... turn on some music and read a book for a bit probably.
