Shocking Realization · 12:08pm Mar 2nd, 2017
I just realized something when the reviews of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came out today. I'm seeing reviewers wondering if Nintendo can top what they created here, you know, more than just fixing the minor things. Actually topping what they've made here seems impossible to everyone I've seen and I remember the same thing happening when the latest Smash Bros came out for the Wii U. A lot of people saw it as hard to top.
So...is that actually a clever method to success in games?
What I mean is this: Is this why shooters are so successful? Shooters, both first and third person, are super flawed. That's why it's easy to make sequels. You just fix one or two problems and release it as a sequel. So...that's an easy way to make money.
Ouch. Now I feel really bad for Nintendo. Guess quality is too much. Quantity really is the way to go if you wanna make money in video games.
Oh well, I can't wait for Zelda tomorrow. Then it'll take over my life...as usual with Zelda games.
Ummmm, BEER! You are gonna need it to hide from us.
