Like, over a year.
But even though it's been a really long time since I put up a chapter for Thine Own Self, all you followers (if I have any left) will be happy to know that the story is being resurrected and will have a new chapter next weekend, February 25th. I just finished writing it, and it's in the "sit" phase, where I just let it sit for a few days before going back to edit it.
Also, I will be starting up another chapter of Just A Problem soon as well.
One last thing, I want to announce that I'm going to start trying my hand at original fiction. I will still finish my ongoing stories, but I also want to try and write something that is totally made up by myself. And I'm even playing with the possibility of getting it published, and moving up from "Fan fiction author" to "professional author".
Before anyone gets too excited, it's going to be some years before anything happens (I still have to write the whole thing, and a finished manuscript could take an average of 18 months to become a published work, and that's if anyone even wants to publish it). But I'm hoping I can turn my passion and hobby into something more.

Also best to you on the original novel. When done you can always self publish it as well. Another author I've done some pre-reads for on here and elsewhere has gone that route with several works I know of. You might drop him a line if you have questions on that front (Viking ZX). Def keep us updated on how that goes.
