This is a guide to some original characters that appeared on my recently completed fic, "The Machine", plus what I like to imagine is their ideal VA's

The main character

Henry Wotton (1855 - 1946)
Adam's only best friend.

Edward "Ed" Wotton (b. 1881) [VA: Jeff Goldblum]; never married but had a son out-of-wedlock
Elizabeth "Liz" Livingston nee Wotton (b. 1885) [VA: Geena Davis]; married with three kids

Mrs. Tuppance (b. 1826)
Adam's (formally Henry's) Scottish maid
VA: Thea White

Mary Oak (1875 - 1895)
Adam's first true love, was murdered shortly after proposing to her.

Watson
A hologram search engine from the future.

Dainn
The authoritarian dictator of the Caribou.

Sasha
The Caribou's most lethal sniper, considered one of the best snipers in the world.

The travels of Adam's time machine:

1899: built
1899 to 1895: to prevent Mary's death (multiple trips)
1895 to 1899: to return home after multiple failed attempts (multiple trips)
1899 to 2040: a random stop-over to see how far time travel technology has come along
2040 to 2047: to check what is going on.
2047 to 1,605,402: knocked unconscious and accidentally traveled too far in the future, ended up in Equestria; stayed for a year
1,605,403 to 1,270,855,620: fought Celestia in the time machine and accidentally traveled too far in the future once again.
1,270,855,620 to 1946: went back to visit his friend Henry one last time, spent a whole day here mostly travelling.
1946 to 1,605,403: went back to Equestria to save it from a Changeling invasion; machine destroyed.
