Is my story again in the feature box? XD It just got out of it. You crazy ponies.
I like cats and ponies cuz they are fluffy! Come and talk if you want, I won't bite.

The last three slots of the feature box are reserved for returning stories. I've noticed that once a story has been featured once it tends to wind up revisiting quite frequently. Congratulations.
4408338 I see. I still find it incredibly silly that it's there again so soon. XD
Indeed.
The top seven spots work on what's called Heat. It's some combination of likes, faves, reads, etc. in a period of time. The higher the heat, the higher up the box you go. The bottom three slots are for updates, and that placement is based solely on the Wilson Binomial Score (your likes and dislikes) in a time interval around your posting. While the heat metric eludes me, I've got a good grasp on the binomial thing. :3
4408370 Ok. So as long as I keep writing good stuff fast enough, the story has a good chance to get to the bottom three in the feature box.
4408379 Speed doesn't really matter for the bottom three.
With your upvote-downvote counts on your current story, your Wilson score is 0.959. You're essentially guaranteed to get in the box with a ranking like that. Unless there are super popular things in the bottom three when you post an update to your story, it'll probably get in. If you want more info, I can math-ramble. I'm a physicist, so this sort of statistics thing is up my alley.
4408382 I get the gist of it. Thanks.
Basically, once featured, each time you publish a new chapter, you will get back to the three spot at the bottom of the feature list. Unless you've published a chapter less then 24 hour before.
