This is probably inappropriate at this time. However, I'm thinking 'Bucky' and I probably wouldn't get along to well, Or at least as well as the two guys from xxxholic. As an non-marxist artist and non participating athlete I'm all in favor of greed, ego, and capitalism enhancing the creative process. Which is sort of ironic, becasue I'm most frequently banned for criticizing -not people specifically but- what I don't like (or find enjoyable) about their work...

Anyway, If I could figure out a way to cut corners, that kept the final product fun and reasonably functional, I'd sell it, then fix all the problems, do what I can to improve it, and sell an upgrade like George lucas did with the original star wars trilogy three or four times in succession. Then again, I'm impatient and set a standard higher than what Poppy (discussed in film theory) gets away with. As amusing as it is to find inspiration in paper bags, candy, and pet decor, as a consumer I'm the sort of person who will spend thousands if not hundreds of dollars to find true happiness.

I'll admit I'm pretty stingy when it comes to money. I realize the self, commercial success, desire and quality improvement are not necessarily things that need to be thrown out with the bathwater. But, the idea that those things are inherently corrupted by greed and ego, or that working harder equals greater success are among the biggest lies ever told in my opinion. They're right up there with everything that was taken from you or which was lost will be returned to you in death.
