    D&Z Tails

I'm sure most of the good folk that find this blog will know I do a lot of shared work with Bluemoon. I mean, there is an entire widget on my profile with stories we've worked on together.

    Birthday Blog

Okay, I wasn't planning a post for my B-Day this year, but then Bluey went and wrote me a story last night after I went to sleep and I can't not promote it... Not only does it use two neglected characters of ours but it's just so sweet (both as a story and of him...)

    New Year

Welp. That's another year down. Not sure what to say about it. It's been a lot of ups and downs, but not bad overall. Time to start working on the new one.

My poor loyal steed was lamed...

Welp... I've been having a string of bad luck. First my battery died Saturday morning. I got that boosted but was told the battery reserves are drained and it's only working at 40% efficiency or so and might fail in a short while. Then I also found out my headlight was blown. Easy enough fix. Got a bulb at Walmart and got that changed with about twenty minutes of effort, a pair of pliers, a

    New Name, New Chapter

I've finally gotten around to it! As much as I love the name Grey, and it's related Greycait (which is an alt of Greycat), it's a name for another site and another face of mine. Finally got around to changing the name to my (hopefully set) ponysona Grey Seeking Dusk (sue me, I like Grey...) Of course, the moment I designed it all that time ago a plethora of stories around the

New Year, New Grey · 5:52am Jan 15th, 2017

Woo! It's mostly over and I'm mostly free! I figured the clip was fitting considering I just wrapped up a Martin Luther King Jr. event for work were I was one of the program leaders. Anyway; to summarize events in life, for the past few months, ever since moving to the big city, I've been working four days a week as an office admin assistant in the downtown core. All in all fine, aside from the mad hours (10 hour days weren't uncommon when we neared events, and we had like one event per month, two in November) and the commute (near four hours out of every day... commuting... near half of it driving, the rest on public transit...)

All in all, the Job was fine, everything associated with it? Not so much... Most days ended with getting home drained, just in time to munch something before going to bed to go back to work with the weekend spent hiding in bed trying to catch up with reading I missed and family stuff. Anyway, I was accepted into and will be starting a Software Development training course next week. Promises to be a bit intensive, but it's five hours of classes per day and only 15 minutes (30 max, with bad traffic) from home. As for the part time, I'll be only doing a few hours remote support work for them from home to keep some form of income.

In short? I'll be able to write again! Less commute means much less drain, and writing is one of my ways of cooling down from studying, and I'll actually have time to try and sync with Bluey and get out collabs worked on! That, and all those partial chapters I've not been able to finish in the past few months!

Might start on either one of those overdue chapters, of finishing one of the four or so one shots I attempted in the latter half of 2016. Still, I'm so excited! And nervous. Nervouscited.

Anyway, this weekend is for recovery. The week was like made of 13hour shifts. Worked six days and four of them were 10+ hours....

On other topics... I'm considering changing my user name. Greycait (technically Greycat) was a hold over from another site and not really my pony handle... Plus, new year, new direction and all...

Cool, well let us know your new name on FIMFiction when you change it.

Ahh.... does that mean I'll get something to do from your side? :raritywink:
anyway, all the best for your 'new' life!
