Also, upon looking at the "Stories to Do" list (which needs to be updated), you notice that I would be doing a TMNT crossover. At first, I was considering an entire AU, with the CMC (including Babs) being the turtles, Trixie as the Shredder, Snips and Snails as Bebop and Rocksteady and so forth. But yesterday, another idea struck in my head while at work. What if I would make the TMNT crossover a side story to the "Other Visits" saga? I've already gotten so many crossovers in the Jongojiverse so why not? And with the story "Together Again," told in first person, gaining quite a bit of success thanks to having help, I could tell the story from Babs' perspective (the Mirage Comics are often told through first perspective too). There would be hints of the adventures further inland but in general the Manhattan/Manehattan Crusader would not be involved with these. And next year's the 30th anniversary of the original show (though it's now 363 days away), and I'm a sucker for anniversary stories.
My idea so far:
1) Babs would start learning martial arts under Karai, not knowing that she's associated with the Foot. She doesn't get weapons as her "mentor" doesn't find her worthy, but doesn't mind it. It's when she meets the Turtles and Splinter that she finds the truth.
2) It doesn't just crossover with one of the series, but as much as I can every series from the 1987 cartoon to the IDW comics, all while keeping a dark tone akin to "The Rubicon." I should write a few of these ideas.
