The Ponies' Musical Taste

While I'm still currently burnt out by the holidays and working on my next update post, I had a thought I wanted to share.

As I'm sure my stories and blogs have made it clear, I'm a diehard fan of rock and metal music. Ever since joining the fandom, I have created multiple playlists of different songs I listen to from time to time revolving around certain themes (two prime examples being the Team JAG Band performances from Taismo: Discovering Equestria and Taismo: The Equestria Games). However, throughout the 2016 year, I've had certain thoughts spinning around in my head from time to time, and it all came down to one basic question:

Of all the bands I could name, what would everypony say would be their individual favorite?

While writing out a first draft of a one-shot story a couple months back, this thought became more and more frequent. Almost every day I would think of a pony, and then ask myself if they'd say one band would be their favorite, or another, or someone else, and so on. It's been beginning to be a nonstop thought process as of late, and I've already got a few solid ideas to work with now. I'm looking to make a decision, followed by many, many more decisions. I would like to know from any readers and/or fellow rock/metal lovers one thing: who would be interested in seeing my take on what everypony's own favorite artist/band introduced through my Taismo/Team JAG Band stories would be? If so, who would be interested in a special new series of stories revolved around this idea? Leave your opinions, even suggestions, down in the comments while I consider these ideas, and look out for an annual update blog before the end of the year.
