Merry Christmas

Here is a special christmas present from me to you guys, my lovely readers and friends. It is the last chapter for Heart of Worlds. Thank you all for joining me for this long two year project. I’ll have some words to say about this day and so many future holidays.

I recently read a blog post by Dash Attack that gave me time to think. It was when he said, “interest in MLP fading.” Now, I have gone on record many times saying that I will not leave this site. And it is true. I don’t leave fandoms, and I don’t quit shows.

Heck, I recently was a little grumpy over seeing Gatchaman 2 showing up on DVD and I bet 90% of you people don’t know what that is. I still watch the original five power rangers, and I am still a big fan of Ruroni Kenshin. I know fandoms shrink from time to time, and they can stay that way, but large enough fandoms will have plenty to talk about and enjoy being together.

After all, Babylon five has had a small showing in the states and it is still a huge fandom. There are tons of Gargoyles fans all salivating and waiting for the show to come back.

If they can still exist, we surely will. Why? Because, fanfics and fanart like this, help keep a communtiy of fans strong. And believe me, we have a large enough group of fans that we can keep going for quite a while. After all, Pony existed long before us, and it will last long into the next generation.

Who knows, maybe even when Knighty makes this into a general fanfic site.

But, even with that in mind...I would be still here writing my stories. Even if only one person is out there to read it.

See, I learned an important lesson from this fandom. One that was just as powerful as the other important lessons.

Don’t let those ideas fade away.

I have a series about my past ideas and I look at some of them and I feel regret.

I should’ve released that Legend story. I should’ve unleashed Burn sentai Spirit upon the world. Sure, they may not have been the biggest hits and may not even have gotten me tropes pages. But, they would’ve exsited. They would’ve been out there for people to read and enjoy. I would’ve had them out there.

So yeah, you can always expect a wide range of stories from me. Because I will still be here, typing away and writing for all of you.

It’s strange, I began this year in the worst of places. MY life looked ruined and hopeless. But now...now, my life has been truely blessed with so much good. A new cousin, who annoys me, a new home, a new life, and so much more.

Life rolls on and things will always be brighter. You just need to hold onto that bit of hope.
