Saving mah money · 3:56am Dec 17th, 2016
I've been thinking about this for a bit. I really want to go to Trotcon next summer. It's only like 2 hours away. Once volleyball season is over, I hope to find a job in order to make enough to go. I don't want my parents to pay my way. I'm already expensive enough as is , lol. I'm also going to start taking commission's and doing adoptables.
Does anyone have any ideas on ways I can make a little money? I've considered a gofundme, but I'd rather earn it.

We should go together! That would be fun. ^w^
Commissions would be a good place to start! Your artwork is lovely. What you could do is advertise on Deviantart and I'll share your info. You can use my traditional pricing for ideas if you need.

OMGoodness, that sounds like fun and a great idea. Maybe we could share it table in the Artist Alley. That would split the price.
Okay, thanks! Any advice you could give me on that? Is PayPal the best to use?

Trotcon?
I might suggest story commissions?
Like: Five dollars for the first thousand words, and seven for each thousand after. Or, really, whatever you're comfortable charging, Melly.

This lovely little con here. Indiana doesn't have much in the way of MLP. This is the best I could find nearby. Plus, they had John De Lancie around the time I discovered it. I hope he'll go in 2017 too. It wouldn't be as great without him. I've never gone to a con.

That's a good idea, though I'd rather finishing the two stories I'm working on now first (the one needs to be finished before Christmas). I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

Understandable, no problem!
4343025 Ah, I see
I will hope and pray that you manage to go there. It sounds like it would be a fun experience for you.

4342955 I think points is my favorite, but you can't get RL money that way. I've been considering opening up a shop on a site like cafe press. If you want, you can kind of share the shop with me, I'll just send you a portion of the profits if your design is bought. We could collab in that you could draw a picture and I could digitize it.
PayPal takes a portion of profit from each sale which really sucks. You either have to charge more or take the loss.
