Procastinating 2: Procrastinate Harder · 1:29am Dec 10th, 2016
Just a little update not to expect any story updates tonight. (Maybe some at like 2am?) And, if I stop procrastinating on story updates long enough to do the homework for Finals (and the 6-8 weeks preceding finals) I'll be busy doing that this weekend.
So basically I write long to-do lists of things I have to get done, then I ignore them. I'm feeling pretty shitty right now but I'm not motivated enough to do anything about it. I had a list of things to do today starting at 10am, then I woke up at 2pm and did none of them even though it'd only have taken a few hours tops. I just want to lay down and watch some more Netflix.
I don't suppose there is some over-the-counter medication for being a lazy fuck? I'm drinking some coffee right now but all that's doing is making me awake and lazy.
Maybe next time I have health insurance I'll see a Doctor for procrastinating and being lazy. But I feel like they'll just get obsessed over the whole "depression" thing again and start giving me shit advice and shittier medicines. "Oh you took zoloft for 6 years and it didn't work? Well this time we'll give you zoloft but a 5% higher dose! Oh, pay $75 to the front desk and $45 to the pharmacy on your way out kthxbye."
You stole my procrastination. Give it back... later.
I hear exercise helps. I've yet to try that though. Maybe I will tomorrow.
I once procrastinated on a short essay till about an hour before it was due. I proceeded to write the essay on procrastination and got full marks.

I hear it helps too, maybe I'll try it later also.
Pretty relatable to be honest.

And just in case anyone here isn't already a part of this procrastinating group, here it is. You know, when you get around to it I mean.
Unfortunately there is no over-the-counter medicine for apathy. Which the more I read your blogs and such is what it's actually starting to sound like more than just general laziness. Sucks to think about it but when apathy jumps into the mix the issue really is only solved up in your dome. Least that's what I realized when apathy broke into my house and start reorganizing my movie collection.
