I do apologize, again, for the lack of updates. To be clear, CotBA is not dead, I'm just busy and tired, conditions which are not conducive to writing.
Stuff's piling up at the moment, so while I'll try and get something out in the next couple weeks, we probably won't be having updates until December. However, come Christmas Break, I intend to try and at least restore regular updates, if not catch up a little.
Just want to thank all you readers for sticking with the story. Thanks to everyone who's favourited it, because, wow, that's just awesome to see. And a massive thanks to the followers! You all rock.
Since I'm here, I might as well ask: is there anything you'd like to see in the story? Interactions, fights, events, whatever. I can't guarantee everything'll make it into the story, but hey, sometimes the coolest ideas come from listening to the readers.
Either way, hope you all have a good day, and here's hoping President-Elect Trump doesn't have the world burned down within a year, because that would not be good for updates. 
As an update on the update on the updates, I might be able to put out a short (c. 2000 word) chapter within the next couple days. Nothing major happens, it's just a couple character moments and setting up the climax of the Manehattan arc. But I felt you should know there might be a brief break in the update drought.
Again it's completely fine man, we all have to deal with problems. Just work on it when you get a chance to. I myself am try my hand at writing, and it is very time consuming indeed.

4294098 hey thanks for the support man i appreciate it, and i definitely am having fun writing it, but unfortunately this particular story of mine isn't pony related so i have to post it on my deviantart page. For now though, i might just take a little break from it though. You see i got this pony story i've been working on and off for awhile now, and i think i might just post the first part on here, the story was made mainly for giggles, so not really serious.

4298614 i definitely will my friend, but i junked the shitty giggles one, i started work on a new story revolving around celestia, and yes i'm gonna try to make it kinda dark and sad.
