So obviously it's November, even though I said that I'd have new chapters by the end of the month at the beginning of October.
I had planned on making a blog post about this on October 31, early in the morning (about 12ish), but as a poetic punctuation to my failure, I completely forgot to post it. Rather than redo it in light of the changed date, I'll post it in its original intended form (as I luckily left the page up for two days straight). I'll add a few new comments in bold, like this introduction, and parentheses, as well as a new conclusion.
There are 24 hours until I've either fulfilled or broken my promise of new chapters for my fics by the end of the month, and though I'm actually feeling like I'm starting to make some progress, the better part of tonight has been lost to Windows 10 completing about 71% of an update, then deciding, "well, I COULD finish the update, BUT I think I'd rather give up and restore the old version of the OS. Herpty Derp! (This was the second time it's done this recently.) 
I shouldn't blame my computer though, I've had the entire month to do what I said I'd do, and if it turns out I didn't do it, that's on ME. 
Those two ponymoticons say "sleepy" and "ouch," but between the two of them has to be some smidgen of the sort of disappointment I'm feeling in myself. I'll add in a couple of "sads" just to be safe. 
Well, I could try to work on the fics tomorrow... (I didn't. Surprised?)
...but it's Halloween, and since I've put it off all month, I want to throw my mental baggage on the floor and marathon a bunch of horror movies. (To be precise: Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead 2, The Last Man On Earth (1964), Gojira (1954), and Frankenstein (1931). Overall a pretty satisfying spread. It was my first time seeing "Cabin.")
I'll see what I'm up for tomorrow, but don't hold your breath, I'm already dead.

Well, at least the Cubs are almost out of the hole. (And now the series is tied! Fingers crossed!)
So I hope I can actually get those chapters out THIS month. One for HEIE I'm hoping will be done pretty early, but both stories I want to update...
...and I'd also like to get started on some other things as well...
...but priority number one is updating my existing stories. I'll keep you all posted.
