Greetings!
Remember when I said my stories would get updates by the end of the month back in OCTOBER?
And then pushed them back to November...
...
Happy New Year.
Okay, so you all deserve SOME sort of update. I've made some slow progress on Homeric Epic, while trying to wrap my head around how to rewrite How I Remembered, while also trying to kickstart other ideas sloshing around in my thinking soup.
With this serious case of writer's block, I can't help but feel slightly discouraged. I'd never give up on anything I've started unless I had to, but I have no idea whether my next big inspiration burst will come tomorrow or next year. Maybe I need writing lessons. I've never managed more than a couple thousand words per chapter and they've never had the kind of detail that I'd like.
So what should I do when I get home from work? Play Wii games and watch YouTube videos? Or start trying to get something going here?
I don't really know how to answer this question, because I also have no idea whether what I need is inspiration or skill, and how I'd obtain either of these things.
I'm NOT giving up.
The question is what AM I doing?
Hope you're all well, and that you will continue to follow my work in the future.
