Part 1: Return
………...
Anti-Godzilla Attack Force (Japan Base)
…………
It was a sunny day over the city of Japan people enjoyed the peace going on. In the middle of the city stood a large four story building. On the roof a young woman in a lab coat stood out looking over the city. Hikari looked out across the vast city of Tokyo atop the Anti-Godzilla Attack Force building. She felt the cool breeze run across her face and flow through her black hair as she breathed a sigh of relief from getting away from her boring office. “Another day another dollar.” She said looking at the one of the most famous spots in the city, the grave of Godzilla, the buildings around the area where abandoned no had decided to open the offices back up both out of fear of radiation still being present and as respect for the dead. Hikari remembered being just a child when she heard it on the news how the age of Kaiju had come to an end after one of the biggest kaiju battles on Earth had resulted in the death of Godzilla. But before Hikari could dwell further into her memories a low but annoying voice came from behind her. A man with spikey orange hair and a black military uniform walked behind Hikari.

“Thought you’d be up here,” said Kubo, Hikari’s appointed guard and best friend, “come on they need you back in research.”

“What another round of boring paper work?” Hikari asked already getting bored of the conversation.

“No, but I think you’re going to be begging after this assignment.” said Kubo in a serious and yet somewhat joking tone.

“Oh really?” Hikari asked raising an eye brow.

“Yep Mothra has returned to Earth.” Kubo announced trying to contain the excitement he had that his friend was doing little to contain.

“WHAT!? Are you serious? This is amazing!” Hikari started jumping up and down for joy almost dragging Kubo with her as she burst through the door leading to the roof. Kubo was laughing as he watched his best friend turn into five a year old at the candy store upon hearing the news. But in truth he gave the same reaction when the alarm went off telling staff to stand by for action. It had been close to 20 years since the last kaiju sighting and now one was the most legendary of them all was reappearing. “Where was she lasted sighted?” Hikari asked while speeding past a variety of scientist and military officials.

“Flying over the Pacific Ocean at Mach 1.” Kubo responded as they neared the monitoring room.

When the two reached their destination, they weren’t prepared for the sight that was spread in front of them. A combination of soldiers and scientist were tapping away on computer screens as the giant monitor in front of them displayed a satellite image. Two giant orange, white and black wings spread in front of a blue ocean carrying one the largest insectoid body they had ever seen in their lives moving the same speed as a F-22. Hikari and Kubo stood with their jaws dropped as they looked at the kaiju.

As the Anti-Godzilla forces began scrambling to intercept Mothra two beings as old as time itself walked down from their temple. The two beings, no bigger than dolls, put wide smiles on their faces as they began to welcome their old friend with a soothing song. Mothra slowly descended into the opening atop her shrine like cave moving her head back and forth enjoying the song of the Elias. The guardian of Earth had finally found and destroyed the meteor that threatened to destroy the world she loved so much. Mothra let out her calming chirps as scales began to fall off her wings and formed a giant egg under her six feet. The massive moth soon began to sigh out as exhaustion began to set in quickly.

“She looks so peaceful.” Moll the youngest of the Elias exclaimed.

“Well it has been close to 20 years since she left the poor girl must be beyond exhausted.” Said Lora the eldest of the Elias, “Moll we must make sure there is no interference during the hatching.”

“You think something will happen?” Moll asked raising an eyebrow.

“Ever since Godzilla died his son has done nothing but sleep, but now I can sense that he’s been… twitching.” Explained Lora looking scared as she did so.

Moll laughed a bit at her sister’s reactions, “I’ve seen you do the same thing when you sleep Lora. Besides I highly doubt that this Godzilla will be causing us much trouble.”

“You know this how?” Lora asked before the answer hit her the face. “You’ve been watching him haven’t you?”

Moll looked away from sister whistling and twirling her fingers around like a guilty child. Lora shook her head as finding her sisters need for love and compassion to begin to test her nerves again. “His father was able to keep the Earth safe on multiple occasions why can’t he?” Moll said in a defending tone.

“Are we forgetting about how both his father and grandfather put the human race in danger on multiple occasions?” Lora asked her superiority beginning to shine, “Godzillas aren’t known for their love of others you know? Only for themselves.”

“Then why does this one seem so different from the others?” Moll asked while turning to Mothra as if she might know the answer.

The giant’s lungs moved back and forth under the ocean, his hand scrapped the ground crushing the rocks underneath like paper. He finally a place where he could rest but know a nightmare was starting to ruin his slumber. Godzilla moved his head around as dreamed the same night mare that’s been haunting him since his father’s death. A fire spread city surrounded around him as the roar of another monster echoed throughout it and his father’s dying roars called out to him before a shining light blinded him. Godzilla opened his eyes no longer in a burning city but underwater.

“So that’s why you’ve been twitching.” A voice called out from nowhere.

Godzilla turned his head and saw nothing.

“Poor thing, is this what you’ve been dreaming about. Maybe I can help…” before the voice could go on a loud roar cut it off. Godzilla snarled the voice was causing him to grow angry. But before he could attack a calming lullaby began to go off in his head causing Godzilla to stop charging his signature weapon. His rages began to settle but confusion was still there. “Sorry didn’t mean to startle you my name is Moll one of the guardians of earth. I’ve been watching you for past 20 years. Aaaaaand you don’t understand me do you?” Moll said as Godzilla began lie down slowly going back to sleep. “Hey don’t ignore me that’s rude you know?!” Godzilla just did his best to ignore the pestering noise in his head. Until the ground began to shake under him causing him to rise back up letting out a hiss. His senses began to going off there was a threat coming. Godzilla roared out and began heading toward it until Moll’s voice came back. “Hey wait before you go crazy how about you meet Mothra first.” Moll shouted trying to stop Godzilla. Soon Moll began to let out a soothing song causing Godzilla to breathe easily he sensed another presence this one taking on a much calmer feeling. He looked back to where the threat was coming and snarled. He began to swim forward swaying his tail to gain speed.

After seeing the video of Mothra orders were given to start studying the creature. Hikari didn’t need to be told twice as she had already rushed off with the data that had been handed to her. Hikari kept working at her desk watching the video of Mothra that was shown earlier on the larger monitor, Kubo had been trying his hardest to calm her down only to be met with failure. After seeing Mothra, Hikari had been acting like a little kid. She kept replaying the video of Mothra flying over the ocean taking notes every time she hit the rewind and play buttons on the computer. Sitting on make shift bed he had made for one Hikari’s overnight work sessions Kubo watched on with a bored expression. Kubo let out a loud groan asking, “You’ve replayed that video five times already how can you still be taking notes on it.”

“Sometimes you need to see things more than once to find something new about it.” Hikari responded without looking away from the computer.

“Well I’ve watched the video as many times as you and all I see is a giant mutant bug.” Kubo said.

“One she’s not a mutant and two if you were actually paying attention you would see that see that she was about to give birth.” Hikari said giving little care that her friend’s eyes as widening.

“Are you saying there’s more than one of these things and how can you even tell?” Kubo asked.

Hikari finally spun around and walked past Kubo to grab a research journal off the shelf behind him. “She has that glow of motherhood and the way she’s moving it’s like how salmon move to their spawning grounds. She’s moving at a fast pace without changing direction. Also, studies show that Mothra is asexual.”

“Yes asexual that’s very good, very good indeed. Mind telling me what that means?” Kubo asked.

Hikari let out a long annoyed sigh before talking again, “Asexual means that an animal can reproduce without a mate. Come on this is Science 101 here.”

“You know I’m not the scientific type.” Kubo said while laughing at his best friend.

“Aren’t you at least interested in her? Mothra is the only kaiju that fought Godzilla and unlike most beat him.” Hikari said.

“Yeah I know that part but do you know that during their fight those two almost managed to tear Tokyo in half.” Kubo taking a much firmer tone.

“Which is why I’ve been tasked with assembling a group to find Mothra and study her before anything like that happens again.” Said a female voice from the door that caused Kubo and Hikari to jump.

The two friends turned around to see a woman in a standard AGAF combat uniform. A black armored with vest that matched the pants which had armor plating going from the knees to the feet. Her long black didn’t seem to bother her in least as it rested on her shoulders. Kubo instinctively went to attention upon seeing his head in command at the door, “C-Captain Akiko good afternoon to you.”

“At ease private Kubo, learn to relax, we are friends you know?” Akiko said punching her favorite platoon member in the shoulder as she walked past him and went straight for Hikari. A smile came across her face as she studied her.

Hikari began to feel nervous as Akikio began to look her over she could barely get a sentence out. “Um hi my name is…” Hikari began to talk but was soon cut off.

“Susan Hikari, Japanese American from California, graduated top of class at the AGAF academy, also is best friends with private Kubo here.” Akiko began listing details about Hikari, not caring about the confused look that was on her face, “Whoops forgot my manners names Akiko, Captain Akiko if you ever plan on joining the arms division.”

“Um no I’m not much of the fighting type. So how do you know so much about me?” Hikari asked.

“I did a little research on you since I’ve been asked to put a little a team together by the higher ups and someone told me you would be a good fit for the job.” Akiko explained.

“What kind of job are you talking about Captain?” Kubo asked.

“Well isn’t somebody being a good body guard little private.” Akiko said mockingly.

“Please don’t call me that.” Kubo said with a sigh rolling his eyes.

“Little private doesn’t speak for me,” Hikari began speaking up for herself, “Whatever this job is I’ll take it.”

Kubo looked at Hikari with an open mouth not believing what he just heard. Akiko laughed already telling she was going to like her new teammate. She placed her arm around Hikari’s shoulder and began walking her down the hall. “I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship Hikari.” Akiko said with a smile.

“Same here, but if I may ask what exactly is this job you want me to do?” Hikari asked.

“Oh nothing in particular just going on a reconnaissance mission to study Mothra and see if your theory about her expecting is true as well.” Akiko said with a smile.

A massive smile came across Hikari’s face she soon began push Akiko across the hall while calling out to Kubo, “Well what are we waiting for? Let’s go already and Kubo be sure to grab all my notes off the computer before I leave!”

Suddenly the ground began to shake causing everyone to stop moving Hikari almost fell on her face until the ground finally stopped moving. Hikari slowly began to rise back up to her feet with Akiko’s help. Kubo rushed over to help the ladies trying to figure out what was happening.

“That earthquake felt weird.” Hikari said.

“What do you mean?” Akiko asked raising an eye brow.

“It felt like a bad sign to me.” Kubo said.

Philippine Sea
………..
Under the crashing waves stood a large mountain of rocks. They began to move like a beast breathing. Beneath them was a purple attempting to escape. A center rock began to glow bright a symbol of a cross inside of a sun began to shine trying to beat out the purple. But as the lights clashed a red cloud began to ooze out from the cracks spreading to the center rock with the symbol. The lights from both sides began to die out as the red cloud continued to hover over the mountain of rocks. Suddenly a massive green hand broke free grabbing the center rock and crushed it.

Up above waves crashed an aircraft carrier stationed in the area, the U.S.S Destroyer, as it slowly made its way through the ocean. The captain walked through upper corridor watching his men at work when a beep started to get his attention. He walked over to the sonar crew, “What’s going on?”

“Unknown object moving under the water at 150 knots.” One of the crew mates responded with a surprised look on his face.

“Some kind of new submarine?” the Captain asked.

“Sir this thing is way too big to be a submarine.” The crew mate said.

“Captain you may want to look out here.” A voice called from outside. The captain went outside and noticed his entire crew was staring in the same direction the captain turned as well to see ocean as it began to churn the sky above them went from blue to black as storm clouds formed around them. Suddenly the water exploded as a green giant with three massive horns, almost creating a crown on its head, came out of the falling water letting out a thundering roar. “KAIJU!” someone shouted out, the crew began scrambling trying to reach the jets that were being fueled on the deck. Dagahra, the sea dragon, roared out before raising one of his giant hands out of the water. He smashed it into the ship, the blow was like a missile crashing into it, and the entire crew was launched into the air. The Destroyer began to sink under the water. Dagahra roared out as he dove back under the ocean, releasing red parasitic starfish called Barem from his shoulders. The starfish quickly latched onto the nearby soldiers draining them of their fluids while their master watched on with glee. He suddenly sensed something off.
He could sense threats nearby he stopped moving for a moment and began to move his head back and forth checking to see which the bigger threat was. When he closed his eyes to shapes came from the darkness a giant lizard radiating large amounts of energy and an insect with a much weaker energy coming from it. He began to focus on the weaker on the energy source bubbles came from Dagahra’s mouth as he let out a growl. A memory of orange and black wings came flooding into his mind. He let a growl directing the Barem he released to move towards where the higher source of energy was. The starfish like parasites slowly began to move forward as one unit slowly turning the blue sea red as they began to spread. Their master following after them from behind going toward the weaker source of energy.

Hikari, Akiko, and Kubo walked down the hall with each step Kubo couldn’t stop looking over at the two laughing women discussing their upcoming trip. He sighed and finally spoke, “So even after the earthquake you two still want to go and investigate Mothra.”

“If I didn’t go then my curiosity would kill me. Besides you know how much I’ve wanted to see a living kaiju.” Hikari said with a bright smile on her face.

“Also the island that command says Mothra landed on is supposed to be uninhabited so it would be like having a private resort,” Akiko added on, “Look Kubo if your so worried why not come along with us you are Miss. Hikari’s body guard.”

“That’s a great idea I can do my studies and you don’t have worry your head off.” Hikari cast a beaming smile toward Kubo whose face was still held stern.
“Look I get that your crazy about these kaiju things but this isn’t like watching them on the computer back in the lab. This is the real deal and I don’t think you’re ready for it.”

Hikari looked towards Akiko, “Could you leave us alone for a while?” Akiko nodded and walked off around the corner but kept her ear pressed against the wall. “Look you don’t have to keep up the knight act, where not kids anymore, I can make my own decisions.”

“Yes but this decision could be your last,” Kubo had a concerned look on his face, “do you remember what happened when Mothra first appeared?”

“How could I not it was on almost every channel.” Hikari said cross armed rolling her eyes.

“Yeah and do you remember what you saw on the television.” Kubo said his face getting harder. Hikari looked away already knowing and fearing the answer as her face began to cringe at the memory. Kubo went on delivering the hard truth “Two giant monsters duking it out in the middle of Tokyo destroying anything that got in there way. The ‘Rulers War’ that’s what everyone called it the King and Queen of monsters reminding us just how small we really are compared to them. And don’t even get me started on the ‘Meltdown’.”

“Then why did you join the attack force?” Hikari asked, “Why join a program that forces you to fight things that make you feel so small?”

“To help others from being afraid of things they can’t control. To make sure what happened to me doesn’t happen to anyone else.” Kubo tightened his shaking fist already feeling his memory bringing back images of fire and screams. Suddenly he felt his hand stop shaking and begin to feel harm, Hikari pulled Kubo into her arms.

“I want the same thing as you. But to do that I need to see what Mothra’s doing on that island and why she left the Earth. The kaiju are different from any other creature alive there could be a way to stop them without killing ourselves. What if Mothra could help us?” Hikari said as she slowly let go of Kubo.

Kubo could tell Hikari wasn’t going to change her mind. He let out a large sigh closing his eyes then reopening them putting on his hard face back on, “I’ll go with you, but only if you promise to do what I say on when we get there deal?”

Hikari smiled and wrapped Kubo into other hug, “Deal! I promise you won’t regret this.”

“I better not.” Kubo said already starting to regret his decision. Akiko came from around the corner greeting Hikari and both women continued down the wall with Kubo following them. Finally all three of them arrived at the hangar door Hikari quickly ran through her eyes widening at everything around her. Kubo stepped to the side holding his hand out for Akiko to go through the door next.

“Well aren’t you the sweet one little private.” She said with a smile. Kubo sneered hating that nickname.

“Please don’t call me that. Besides ladies always should go first. Least that’s what the old man used to say.”

Akiko looked towards Hikari who was looking around the hangar like an amused child. She smiled and turned back to Kubo putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder, “Hey you don’t have to worry too much I’ll watch her like hawk.” Kubo couldn’t help but smile at her kind words.

“Thanks she’s the closet thing I have left to a family.” Kubo began but was stopped when Akiko put her hand over his mouth so all that came out were muffles.

“You know you can really take the fun out of going to a tropical island. Now come on you can tell me your life story after we take off.” Akiko then pulled Kubo into the hangar while calling out to Hikari, who was pestering a pilot, to follow her towards a plane that not even in her wildest dreams she could have imagined. It was one of the largest planes in the hangar, on both of its wings were to large cannons and the head had a hawk painted on to it.

“Ladies and gentleman allow me to introduce you to the Hawk!” A voice called from behind them. The group turned around to see an African American man with dreadlocks and large muscles wearing the same outfit as Akiko smiling at them.

He slowly walked up to Kubo and the two both gave a high-five, “Still just as loud as ever Bone Crusher.”

“Never mind that now how about you introduce me to the lovely lady in the lab coat.” Bone Crusher said casting an eye at Hikari, who was starting to hide by Akiko.

“This would be my friend Hikari who is off limits.” Kubo started elbowing Bone Crusher in the processes.

“Hey I’m the higher ranking officer here I should be giving you orders.” Bone Crusher said laughing and rubbing his side.

Akiko loudly cleared her throat causing both Bone Crusher and Kubo to stop talking and stand at attention, “Lieutenant how many times have I told you not to hit on women when I’m around.” Akiko’s foot was tapping as her anger began to rise causing Kubo and Bone Crusher to shake in fear. Hikari snickered at the sight of the shaking men.

“Yes ma’am, sorry ma’am, well never happen again ma’am,” Bone Crusher’s voice was shaking as he stared into the eyes Akiko, “now how about we start this mission shall we?” Bone Crusher quickly ran into the Hawk with Akiko chasing after him still trying to scold him.

Hikari pulled on Kubo as they went inside after them their footsteps echoing on the metal door. “So who is this guy?” Hikari asked.

“One of the top pilots in the AGAF Lieutenant Bone Crusher.” Kubo said as he followed Akiko.

“So what’s his real name?”
“No one knows rumor has it his parents gave him that name.” Kubo called over his shoulder.

Hikari stood still with a surprised look on her face not believing what she had heard. The sound of a loud smack and a girlish scream brought Hikari back to reality. She ran to the cockpit to find another big shocker the much larger Bone Crusher cowering in fear as the smaller Akiko was standing over him cracking her knuckles. Kubo was on the ground laughing at the sight like it some sort of skit. Hikari couldn’t figure out what was going on or how to react to the current situation standing with one of the most confused looks on her face. Finally the others took notice of the confused Hikari they all began to recompose themselves.

“So shall we get going then?” Akiko asked with a smile.

“Ma’am yes Ma’am.” Kubo and Bone Crusher stood attention raising a salute at Akiko.

“Wait shouldn’t we wait for the others to show up?” Hikari raised an eyebrow at the group of soldiers.

“We are the others little lady.” Bone Crusher said.

Hikari started to widen her eyes not believing what she was hearing. Kubo stepped forward putting his face in a serious form, “Standard recon team insist of a four man team to gather information and report back to headquarters.”

“Thank you for briefing the newbie little private,” Akiko said ignoring the grumble Kubo gave and the snickering of Bone Crusher, “So then newbie now that you know how many of us are going do you still intend to come with us if not I can understand why.”

Hikari took in a deep breath putting on a brave face she looked Akiko in the eye, “I volunteered for this mission and I will see it through to the end.”

Akiko smiled patting Hikari on the back almost knocking her on the floor. Bone Crusher gave a round of applause while Kubo gave a pleased nod toward his friend. Soon they began sitting down around the cockpit. Bone Crusher began flipping switches on the dashboard causing the Hawk to come to life the engines slowly pushing out flames. The hangar doors came down letting the sun shine into the building. “All systems ready for mobilization preparing to launch.” Bone Crusher spoke into the microphone. The all clear was given over the mike causing Bone Crusher’s eyes to explode with excitement he let out a massive howl pushing the wheel down the Hawk quickly flew into action flying out of the hangar. Once high enough in the sky the Hawk quickly broke the sound barrier Hikari looked out the window in amazement at how fast they were going as clouds went by in the blink of an eye.

Godzilla moved through the water bubbles came out from his mouth as he let out a large growl. He moved forward the energy he kept sensing was compelling him to move forward every time he closed his eyes a strange being in a weak light kept appearing before his eyes. Suddenly a scent caught Godzilla’s nose. He stopped swimming, something was coming after him, and smelled it horrible causing Godzilla to reel his head back. The massive saurian curled his lips back and let out a challenging roar causing the nearby fish to swim away in fear. He waited for a brief moment but nothing answered his call. But he could still smell something in the water Godzilla grit his teeth snarling flexing his claws each of his fingers popped as they moved. Godzilla’s eyes were used to seeing the darkness of the water but the sight of a red cloud caught him off guard, he didn’t have time to react when it came upon him. The Barem swarm began to latch on to Godzilla and trying to drain him of his energy. Sparks flew off Godzilla’s body as the Barem slowly ate away at his energy.

Godzilla let out an earth-shattering roar as he clawed the starfish like parasites off his body but the more he took off the more latched onto his body. Godzilla continued to struggle as he fell deeper to the ocean. He slammed his tail down hard on the ocean floor crushing some of the starfish but not ending the attacks. Godzilla soon began to narrow his eyes anger rising, his spines began to glow as power that wasn’t drained away was quickly diverted to one his deadliest weapons. His eyes flashed blue as Godzilla let loose a nuclear pulse from his body vaporizing everything in sight to dust. The ash cloud that was once the Barem swarm slowly rose to the surface with Godzilla letting out a victory roar. He turned back to his original course Godzilla closed his eyes both to take a calming breath and to check if the energy he’d been following was still there. He saw the flicker of light he’d been following Godzilla continued his path letting out another roar.

Up Above the Water
…………..
The Hawk flew over the open ocean at Mach 3 it only took a few minutes to leave Japan. Now the jet was flying high out over the water. Bone Crusher and Akiko sat in the front of the cockpit she rolled her eyes as Bone Crusher was head banging to the song going off in his head phones. Hikari was busy studying the Mothra video her phone adding on to the notes she’d already been taking. Kubo stretched his arms and yawned as he began to wake up from the nap he’d been taking like a child he began to call out to Akiko and Bone Crusher, “Are we there yet?”

Akiko began rubbing her temples in annoyance as she began to speak, “No try to find something to do.” Kubo let out an annoyed sigh and looked out the window it took him a moment to realize that they were over the ocean. But instead of looking at the passing blue he saw that ahead the water became pure black. Bone Crusher and Akiko noticed their eyes widening in shock Akiko narrowed her eyes putting her hand in a thumbs down position signaling Bone Crusher to point the Hawk down. Hikari was forced back in her chair as the Hawk nose divided toward the ocean.

“Kubo what’s going on?!” She shouted nails digging into the seat.

“There’s something in the water you may want to see,” Kubo looked into Hikari’s eyes with a small look of dread, “this may also be bad sign number 2.”

Hikari gulped down as she slowly grew nervous. The Hawk moved closer to the black water Bone Crusher moved the jets to allow them to hover above the water. Akiko got of her seat moving down to the end of the ship with Kubo and Hikari following her. She quickly grabbed a clear box out of a cabinet, “This is called a containment cube. Foreign objects go in they don’t come back out until we say so.” Akiko explained as she hooked the box up to a steel cable slowly on pulling it. She twirled the rope over her head before throwing it out of the open hatch. They waited a moment before a splash confirmed that the box had hit the water Akiko yelled to Bone Crusher to begin pulling up the cable. Slowly it began to rise as Kubo tensed ready for anything that would be in the box.

As the box came up Hikari’s eyes widened at the sight inside of it, “Ash!” Kubo raised an eyebrow at was being said until he took a closer look at the box. There was ash floating in the box and in the ocean down below like an oil spill.

“What could have done this?” Akiko asked.

“The only way to tell is to go under water and check for ourselves. Does this thing come with a submarine?” Hikari began to gather notes on the water.

“Unfortunately no, we’ll just have to make a guess as to what happened.” Akiko looked over to Hikari, “Any ideas?”

The young scientist began rubbing her chin trying to think of the best answers she could give until two thoughts appeared in her one of the
two both excited and scared her. “Well there might be two reasons but they both seem pretty unlikely without the base picking it up.”
“What like an underwater volcano going off?” Kubo asked.

Hikari shook her head, “No I have serious doubts that there aren’t any in this part of the ocean. One theory is that Mothra got into a fight with another kaiju and this is what’s left of their brawl. The other is that… Godzilla has returned.”

“That’s some theory but kind of impossible if another kaiju where around let alone Godzilla the sensors would be going insane.” Kubo said.

“Besides he has a grave next right next to base camp.” Akiko added on.

“Yeah but what about the little one? All reports show that he managed to escape during the meltdown of 95.” Hikari said, “What if he managed to hide under the ocean? To avoid being found.” Akiko and Kubo looked to each with unsure eyes.

“Um guys? Not to add on to the already creepy conversation but I just got word from High Command.” Bone Crusher called out from the cockpit his normally joking voice was as serious as he could be, “An aircraft carrier was sunk in the Philippine Sea about an hour ago. The survivors, the ones who weren’t afraid to talk, said it was a kaiju.” Hikari, Kubo, and Akiko eyes began to widen at was said. It had been nearly 20 years since the last kaiju attack and now there was a chance that one of deadliest creatures known to mankind was possibly swimming around in the ocean.

“And that would be bad sign number 3.” Kubo said already looking at Akiko for an answer at what to do next.

Akiko stood still pulling at her, the main sign she was in deep thought, she let out a calming sigh. “Let’s keep going. Bone Crusher keep your ears glued to the radio if there’s another kaiju besides Mothra running around out there I want to be the first to hear it about.”

“Understood captain.” Bone Crusher shouted back to Akiko his voice full respect.

“Hikari take only the necessary supplies you need this mission may be a little bit of a rush job. Kubo you are to stay by my side at all times whatever I do, you do as well, standard mirror formation. Do I make myself clear?”

Hikari and Kubo both made a salute to Akiko ushering a respected yes ma’am. Akiko turned around to hide the smile creeping she had on her face as lead the others back to the cockpit. As she slowly walked back to her seat Hikari looked out her window. Hikari couldn’t believe what she saw looking back at her, two orange eyes the size of cars connected a large black head. Hikari blinked for a second but soon the head was gone she looked around checking the ocean for any signs of life. Kubo noticed Hikari acting strange “You ok?”

“It was nothing thought I saw something but it must have just been my imagination.” Hikari said as she began to buckle herself back in to her seat.

“Must be all the monster talk that’s got you seeing stuff.” Bone Crusher said with a reassuring smile. Hikari returned it with a smile of her own hoping that Bone Crusher was right. The Hawk came back to continuing on its original course unknown to those onboard that they were being watched below the waves.

Godzilla came back due to the noise he heard above him. What he saw and smelled confused him not knowing whether this thing could fight or not. Another thing that made him curious was the fact that it going the same way he was. Godzilla began flashing his back spines, the glow was weak his energy was still low from the previous fight. For now, he’d watch this thing and find the energy that was calling him. Godzilla began moving again not letting his guard down for a minute he would be ready for any fight that came his way.

Mothra felt her egg move a loving glow came off from her antenna. The earthquake she felt earlier was bothering her but she felt the maternal need to protect her egg and tired body was keeping her from moving. Lora watched as Mothra began interacting with the egg ready for it to hatch at any moment. She felt the same way as Mothra not knowing what was going was really beginning to bother her. Lora looked over Mothra’s body which was showing signs that she was ageing. She was beginning to breathe heavily from fatigue. But the elder Elias couldn’t take her eye off the most notable mark however was the ripped bottom portion of her left wing. Lora distinctly remembered this wound its birth gave her nightmares. The memory of fire came flooding back to her as Mothra was pinned under a giant foot. Her screams of pain where cancelled out by a roar louder than thunder. The original Godzilla poked his head down at Mothra his mouth opened reveling his fangs and a blue light began shine in the back of his throat. Lora’s eyes snapped opened sweat running down her face she heard a chirp and looked to Mothra who was looking down at her. Lora smiled “I’m fine,” she said trying to reassure the already worrying kaiju, “I’ll be back in a few minutes try to relax.”

Mothra leaned her head on the egg nuzzling it softly. “Now then where did that sister of mine run off to?” Lora began asking herself.

Lora called out for Moll, hoping she wasn’t on the far side of the island, she began looking in the gardens pushing aside the flowers. She let out an annoyed groan rubbing her head as nerves where being poked. Lora continued to call out for her sister to empty air as a response. Until finally she heard Moll’s voice in the far distance just ahead of her, “This is not good. Not good, Not good, Not Good.” Her voice was almost quivering. Lora soon came upon Moll who was kneeling down looking over a pool of water. Lara leaned over her sister, who was unaware that she was there, what she saw made her hold breath in shock.

Lora watched as an image of Godzilla appeared in the pool of water he was fighting a swarm of Barem letting out a powerful roar with each swipe he took. “Moll what is this?!” Lora asked fear evident in her voice.

Moll let out a startled scream before trying to hide the water behind her back, “Lora? What are you doing here?”

“The better question is why Godzilla is awake when you told me everything would be fine.”

“I’ll tell you. But you can’t get mad ok?”

Lora took a calming breaths trying not to let anger take her over before she finally spoke. “Fine.”

“Well I was thinking since Mothra is starting to get to old to fight and the baby will need time to gain power. Why not have another guardian fight in their place for a while? So I may have woken up Godzilla and called him here so that…” Moll was cut off by a swift punch to the head by Lora who had the most enraged look on her face, “OWWWWW! You said you wouldn’t get mad!”

“You called Godzilla to the island?!” Lora screamed into Moll’s ear.

“Only to help.”

“Help what put poor Mothra out of her misery? Moll look at him he’s just as vicious as his father if Godzilla comes here then our island, our home, Mothra and her baby will all be destroyed. Turn him around know.”

Moll looked at the water seeing the image of Godzilla fighting for his life against a horde of killer monster parasites. Where Lora saw a rampaging beast she saw an innocent creature fighting for his life. Moll knew this wasn’t the Godzilla as before she saw his nightmare, she knows he is possibly feeling about the world and how the world felt about him. Moll’s face hardened as looked her older sister in the eye, “Look even if I wanted to turn him around I couldn’t he’s too close to turn around at this point. Godzilla needs to come here don’t you see what he’s fighting.” Moll pointed to the mystic water which was replaying the same image as before.

“The Barem.” Lora gasped.

“If the Barem are back then that means Dagahra has returned as well and if he’s back then that means Desghidorah will rising again soon. Then we’ll have one of the biggest disasters in history to deal with. Face it we need him, Mothra needs him.” Moll stared into the shocked face of Lara. Before she could retort a sound caught her attention. The Elias looked up to see a large silver object fly past over the tree line. Moll and Lara looked at each other with a bit of confusion they quickly turned to the mystic water waving their hands over. The image of Godzilla was replaced by the sight of the beach. The large metal object began to land slowly on it with the bottom portion opened and three beings walked out of it.

“Humans?” Lora said with a puzzled looked on her face.

“That’s pretty rare sight around here they must be smart.” Moll said with an almost amused smirk on her face. Lora began walking down toward the beach with Moll following her in toe, “So what are we going to do?” Moll asked.

“See what they want then get them off the island as quickly as possible before your guest arrives. Then we’ll discuss your punishment for calling Godzilla behind my back.” Lora said. Moll stopped in her tracks at the word punishment left her mouth hanging open.

“Come on Lora he’s not going to do anything.” She called out as she began to run after her sister who was now ahead.

The Beach
…………..
Akiko stood on the beach stretching her aching muscles waiting for Kubo and Hikari to finally come out. Kubo stood inside wearing a combat uniform waiting outside of a door for Hikari he banged on the hard metal trying to speed up the process. “Bang all you want but it won’t make me go any faster.” Hikari responded. Kubo rolled his eyes at how slow it took Hikari to change her clothes, “Come on it’s just an attack suit it should only take three seconds to put on.”

Bone Crusher laughed at Kubo for clueless he was acting, “Dude ladies like to take their time when it comes to dressing up.” He said trying to sound like a philosopher

“Thank you Bone Crusher.” Hikari said it a sweet tone.

“When did you become an expert on women?” Kubo said letting out a massive annoyed sigh.

“When was the last time you went on a date?” Bone Crusher responded chuckling.

“Well um it’s been about,” Kubo began stumbling on his own words trying to sound cool in front of his friend, “um six…”

“Years.” Hikari said as she finally walked out of her changing room wearing the same armor as Kubo and Akiko. Bone Crusher began to laugh uncontrollably as Kubo face began to redden in embarrassment. He quickly grabbed Hikari before she could start saying anything else to Bone Crusher. The two of them meet the waiting Akiko who had the telltale signs that she was trying to resist laughing when she laid eyes on Kubo. Hikari, ignoring the glare she was getting from Kubo, began to tug on her new armor still trying to get used to the feel of it from her normal clothes.

“Do I really have to wear this thing?” she asked while shifting around the neck piece and trying to keep her helmet on straight.

“If you want to close to Mothra I’d suggest it,” Akiko said as she helped Hikari fix her uniform, “No offense but I don’t really think a lab coat can stand up to a blast from a monster.”

“I guess, but does it have to be so snug?”

“I would have figured a kaiju nerd like you would be geeking out for wearing pieces Godzilla’s bones.”

“Wait what?”

“Higher ups call it ‘Anti-Kaiju Armor’ but personally I call it the ‘G-armor’. You could be hit by a truck and walk away with just a few scratches.” Akiko said.

“You’re telling me I’m wearing a suit made of Godzilla,” Hikari’s eyes began to widen as she began to the look over the black suit she was wearing with amazement, “Kubo you’ve been wearing that thing for years why didn’t you tell me?” she said grabbing onto Kubo’s collar and shaking him.

“You never asked me.” Kubo responded bluntly without caring.

“You two done yet? Cause I’d like to get moving before anything happens,” Akikio began marching from the beach to the forest ahead, “I saw a cave when we flew overhead I’d say that would be good spot to start looking. Bone Crusher you’re in charge of surveillance, anything that’s not human and bigger than a battleship I want you in the air ready to pick us up.”

Bone Crusher responded through the radio from everyone’s helmet, “Got it, now you kids have fun and bring me back a souvenir.”
…………
Inside the forest
………….
Hikari, Akiko, and Kubo cleared the branches that got in their way as they moved through the dense jungle. Hikari was behind both Kubo and Akiko, who were checking every part of the forest for danger; she looked around the forest as the beautiful green landscape that surrounded them. Suddenly something caught her attention like small movement in the trees. Kubo also saw it he whipped his hand to side to grab the pulse rifle on his side with Akiko doing the same in mirror like motion. Akiko began moving closer to the foliage as Kubo moved behind her keeping Hikari behind him. The group turned their heads but still saw nothing. The forest was eerily quiet not even birds were chirping. Akiko began tugging on the one loose hair that was hanging through her helmet. “You guys wait here I’m going tree climbing.” She said as she tossed her pulse rifle to a surprised Hikari, “I want you two to cover me in case there’s something dangerous up there. Little private teach the newbie how to turn the safety off and newbie don’t shoot me in the back because I will get mad.”

Hikari tried to convince Akiko to take her rifle back but she was already climbing up the tree. Hikari bent down in defeat and looked to Kubo for help but all he offered was an uncaring shrug. As soon as Akiko disappeared into the green leafs above Kubo and Hikari tensed up as the sound completely disappeared. The silence was soon cut by three loud screams and the sound of snapping branches with Akiko’s grunts. Suddenly a branched snapped and a high-pitched scream caught Kubo’s attention followed by a loud thump on his helmet.

“OWWWW! What’s this thing made of?” A voice called out

Kubo looked around thinking it was Hikari but her eyes were widened and she was pointing a shaking finger at him air slowly leaving her body in a gasp. “Hikari what’s wrong with you?” Kubo asked in a shaky voice.

“You’ve got something on your helmet.” Hikari said her eyes still and a shaking finger pointing to Kubo’s helmet.

Kubo slowly began to take his helmet off. His eyes widen at he saw, a doll sized girl in an cloth like dress orange waved nervously at him. Hikari looked at the girl with amazed eyes, not believing what she was seeing; she held out her finger and poked the small woman in the cheek electing a small giggle from her. The sound of large snapping branch caused all three of them to look up at the green leaves that blocked the sky. Until a familiar shape caught Kubo’s attention, “Hey is that Aki- Oh My God!” Akiko fell screaming out of the tree and landed on top of Kubo, who tossed his helmet in the air. Hikari dropped the pulse rifle to the ground and reached her hands out to catch the doll sized girl before she hit the ground.

“Thank you very much miss ‘Newbie’.” The small girl said with a smile.

Hikari cocked a confused look before laughing, “My name isn’t newbie it’s Hikari. So what’s your name little one?”

“Oh sorry about that Miss. Hikari,” the girl said rubbing the back of her head, “my name is Moll one of the Earth’s Elias.”
Hikari’s eyes widen at the thought of there being more than one of Moll, “Wait there’s more than one of you where are they, what they are like, are all as tall you?”

“Actually it’s just my sister and I who are left …… the rest have moved on.” Moll said her voice growing sadden at the last statement.
Hikari felt the sadness coming from Moll and decided to change the subject quickly, “I’m sorry to hear that but let’s try to find your sister she might be worried.”

“That won’t be necessary she’s right here.” Akiko called out from behind.

Hikari looked up from Moll to see Akiko, sitting on top of a groaning Kubo, holding a similar looking girl wearing the same outfit the only difference was that this one looked older, her hair in a ponytail and with scowl clad on her face, “Yes I’m Moll’s older sister Lora. Now if you don’t mind could you please put me down?!” Lora yelled at Akikio who glared at her.

Akiko quickly held Lara by the back of her dress and brought her to eye level, “You know you really shouldn’t talk like that to someone whose bigger than you little fairy.”

Lora looked at Akiko with an offended face at hearing the word fairy, “Do I look like something out of a child’s book? I am a being as old as the Earth itself, with knowledge not even your greatest thinkers would believe.” Akiko merely rolled her eyes at was being said then put on an evil grin. Lora’s speech was cut off when Akikio started waving her around like bell. Hikari and Moll looked each other in the eyes then back at Akiko who was enjoying herself thoroughly. “Hey put me down I think I’m getting sick!” Lora screamed in a pleading voice.

“Promise to be nice little fairy?” Akiko asked with an evil smile.

“I promise just put me down already.” Lora pleaded.

Akiko complied and gently dropped the Elias on the ground. Lora wobbled on the ground and put her hands over mouth as her cheeks started to puff out. She groaned before finally throwing up onto Kubo’s hand. Kubo heard what was going on his hand trying his best to keep cool, “Today really is not my day.”

“Oh forgot you where there little private thanks for breaking my fall. You make an excellent landing pad.” Akiko said patting Kubo on the head like a dog.

“Glad to be of service captain. Although I think my ribs might be broken.” Kubo groaned.
“Quit being a baby. Besides the G-armor absorbed the fall anyways.” Akiko got off Kubo who slowly rose back up. Seeing his hand now covered in puke made Kubo cringe and begin wiping his hand on the ground. Hikari put down Moll who walked up to the now blushing Lora. She nudged Lara on the side causing her to almost throw up again.

Moll giggled again before bowing to her new guest, “Greetings humans we are the Earth’s Elias Moll and Lora.”

Hikari copied Moll in the same fashion, “Hello my name is Hikari and I’m a kaiju biologist.”

“Private Kubo I have the privilege of being Hikari’s body guard.”

“Captain Akiko I’m the leader of this little search party. Speaking of which have you two seen a giant moth anywhere around here?”
Moll and Lora looked at Akiko with shock at hearing the question. With her distrust of Akiko and wanting to keep Mothra safe Lora quickly put herself in front Moll taking a protective stance as green energy built in her hands. Kubo saw the energy building and slowly started to bring up his pulse rifle until he felt Hikari’s hand gently ease his rifle back down.

Lora voice was like venom when she spoke, “What to do you want with Mothra?”

“Lora please take it easy they’re not her to hurt us or Mothra.” Moll pleaded as she was the one now copying Hikari as she placed her hands gently upon her sister’s.

Hikari stepped forward bringing herself to the Elias’s eye level. Kubo tried to join her but was stopped by Akiko who whispered into his ear, “Let her do this, if anything goes wrong I’ll step in.”

“It’s ok we’re just here to study Mothra and confirm a theory that I have.” Hikari gently spoke to them.

“And what is this theory that you speak of?” Lora asked her body still tense.

“That Mothra isn’t like other kaiju. That she was trying to save us during the ‘Rulers War’. Also to see if she would ever do it again if we needed her.”

“Your cause sounds noble. But at the moment Mothra is too weak to fight anything at the moment,” Moll said as determination began to beam off her that made Lora begin to worry, “But there is another being who can do just the same if not better than Mothra.”

“That’s only if he doesn’t kill us all first.” Lora said which caused Moll to stick tongue out at her.

“I keep telling you Lora he’s not like his predecessors he’s different.”

Before Lora could start arguing with Moll Hikari chimed in her curiosity getting the better of her, “Um who are you two talking about?”

“Godzilla!” Moll and Lora shouted together before going into an argument. Hikari, Akiko, and Kubo’s eyes widen at hearing the name that strikes fear into the hearts of many. Akiko began pulling on her hair as she started to think. Kubo began pacing to calm himself down. Hikari couldn’t help herself grabbing the Elias pulling them close as she began asking her questions. “Wait, Wait, Wait soooo Godzilla the king of all monsters. The most powerful creature on Earth is not only still alive but is coming here?” Hikari asked her voice moving rapidly.

“Yeah I called him here so he could talk with Mothra. He would have been here sooner but he ran into a group of parasites called Barem and he had to fight with them.” Moll said as if she wasn’t at all concerned.

“So the ash in the water that must have been Godzilla’s fight! So, the those eyes I saw in the water were real,” reality hit Hikari hard when she realized what so few can say they could have done, “Oh my God I had stare down with Godzilla.”

Akiko walked up to Hikari looking serious to bring her back from her world. Hikari saw Akiko’s serious face and began to place the Elias back on to the ground. Without saying a word Akiko motioned for Hikari to go back to Kubo. She looked down at the Elias her voice stern as she spoke, “I have two questions, Number one: How did you call Godzilla? Number two: Was he the one that sunk the air craft carrier stationed in the Philippines?”

Moll and Lora looked at each other worry was seen on both their faces. Akiko raised an eyebrow as she watched their body language shift. Moll placed her hands together like she was praying. Before Akiko could ask what she was doing Moll’s voice rang softly in the group’s heads. “To answer your first question Lora and I have the ability of telepathy.” After hearing Moll’s voice inside her head Hikari could help but get excited again and began asking questions again.

“So does that mean Godzilla can talk and understand us?” Hikari asked

“Not really at the most I think Godzilla was responding to the song I sang for him.” Moll began to explain.

“We can talk about this later, for now I want the answer to my second question. Did Godzilla sink that ship?” Akiko said.

“No! He would never attack for no reason!” Moll shouted trying to defend Godzilla.

“Never stopped his old man.” Kubo chimed in from behind the group. Moll looked down at feet not knowing how to respond to Kubo’s question. Hating to see her sister saddened Lora placed her hand upon Moll’s shoulder reassuringly.

“As much I’d like to agree with you in this case my sister is right,” Lora said looking into the group, “Godzilla has been sleeping for the past 20 years. The beast that attacked your ship was a dragon named Dagahra.”

“Dagahra was imprisoned in an ancient tomb thousands of years ago by our race along with another monster called Desghidorah.” Moll said adding to Lora.

“We fear that the earthquake earlier was a sign that both monsters were awakening from their slumber. If they attack together both Dagahra and Desghidorah could wipe out all life off on the face of the planet.” The Elias spoke as one as they spread their message.

Hikari couldn’t believe what she was hearing two new monsters capable of destroying the world were running around rampant. Godzilla was coming to the island they were stationed at and she was also in the presence of the smallest and mostly likely oldest beings on the planet. One thought dawned on her for a moment, “Is that why you called Godzilla Moll?”

“Yes it is, If Godzilla and Mothra work together they could beat both Dagahra and Desghidorah before they come together.” Moll said.
A large chirp caught everyone’s attention as it echoed through the forest. Moll and Lora looked to each other knowing what the sound was, “Mothra!” they shouted together before running off into the shrubs.

“Hey wait a second!” Hikari called out before following after them. Kubo called for Hikari but she ignored him and disappeared into the brush. Kubo smacked his hand to his face before going after Hikari screaming how much of a bad day he was having.

Akiko sighed before turning her radio on, “Bone Crusher how’s the water looking?”

“Fine nothing so far what’s up?” Bone Crusher said on the crackling radio.

“We may be getting a big guest pretty soon,” Akiko said sarcastically, “Lock on to my coordinates and bring the Hawk. I need to get an urgent message to high command now.”

“Akiko what’s going on?”

“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you Boney.”
…………
Ocean near Infant Island
………….
Godzilla poked his head out of the water to see the object he’d been tracking flying off further inland. He cocked his head curiously as it flew away from him. Godzilla moved slowly inland the only part of his body showing was his snout like a crocodile. He saw the weak energy closer into the middle of the island that’s where he would go. Unknown to Godzilla another set of eyes were tracking him under the ocean. Dagahra had arrived near most after Godzilla he hissed under the ocean he saw the energy coming from Godzilla. The sea dragon felt it kill his Barem from miles away. This creature was incredible it’s power could fuel him. He licked his lips swimming up behind the unaware Godzilla like a stalking predator. At blinding speed Dagahra lunged and bit down on Godzilla’s tail dragging him below the surface.

Godzilla roared furiously before kicking Dagahra in the face forcing him to let go. The two kaiju looked each other in the eyes trying to intimidate the other. Dagahra’s horns crackled to life with magical energy as Barem poured out of his shoulders. Godzilla ignited his back spines as he charged his deadliest attack blue vapor came out of his maw. Godzilla charged forward with Dagahra doing the same the two collided together in a massive head butt. The two monsters began their fight each biting and claw at each other as they slammed into the ocean floor kicking up massive amounts of sand.

As the Barem followed after the dueling titans they were instantly vaporized by the massive nuclear pulse Godzilla emitted. Dagahra skid across the ground he rotated as his body glowed bright red. Rings of energy flew out of Dagahra and slammed into Godzilla causing him to scream out in pain as his skin sizzled from the burns on his skin. Godzilla glared at Dagahra opened his mouth and unleashed his atomic breath slamming it into the sea dragon’s chest. Dagahra roared out as the water sizzled around him. Dagahra’s horns began to ignite with purple energy his mouth flew open as he unleashed his own violet ray attack, the irabushan beam.
Godzilla was shoved back by the magical energy until it finally cut off. He gripped his sizzling chest revealing his fang with a snarl. Atomic energy came across Godzilla’s mouth as magic came across Dagahra’s. Both kaiju opened their mouths releasing their attacks both beams came together in a massive collision, the water broiled in the massive fire fight.

Infant Island
………..
Hikari brushed the giant leaves and branches out of her way as she chased down the Elias. The Elias were both small and fast making it hard to find them. “Hey come on guys can’t you slow down just a little bit?!” Hikari called out to them, only to receive no answer. She kept moving until finally her legs stopped and she leaned on a tree huffing for breath. “Gotta …. Start…. Going back to the gym,” Hikari huffed out as she looked around her surroundings not seeing her friends anywhere, “Aaaaand now I’m lost. Kubo’s gonna kill me.”
That’s when another loud chirp made her jump behind the tree she was leaning on. Hikari poked her head out from behind the tree in the direction to where the chirping was coming from. There was suddenly a soft hum in the wind. Hikari moved in closer trying not to make a sound. She brushed the low hanging tree branch and saw a large cave that instead of being dark on the inside had a small light coming from the entrance. She moved in closer standing at the entrance thinking about what to do, “Let’s see what to do? Go inside find Mothra, figure out how Moll and Lara communicate with her and make one of the biggest scientific finds in history. Or find Akiko and Kubo leave the island before Godzilla shows up there by losing my only chance at answering one of many, many, many questions.”

“Let’s go with option number 2.” Kubo called from behind Hikari making her jump.

“Kubo don’t scare me like that.”

“I should be the one saying that. What were you thinking running off on your own like that?”

“Sorry Kubo I got caught up in the moment.” Hikari puffed her lower lip out to make herself appear innocent.

“The sad face routine stopped working after high school.” Kubo said with a serious look on his face.

“Then you should also know that I chose option one. Now if you excuse me I’m going inside.” Hikari turned around to make her way inside but Kubo grabbed her by the arm in an iron grip.

“Not happening I was okay with just Mothra in fact I hope your right about having her fight the monsters for us. But you heard what those Elias things said Godzilla is coming he could be here any minute. This island could be the sight of a kaiju battle.”

“Yes but they also said that there are two others monsters besides Godzilla roaming around,” Hikari said as she threw Kubo’s hand from her arm, “besides didn’t you hear what Moll said this Godzilla is different from the other one.”

“Hikari do you hear yourself right now! We’ve only know these two for the vast amount of five minutes and you act like this Moll person, Elias, thing is your best friend.” Kubo said his temper being tested more and more. Hikari rolled her eyes and turned around again moving into the entrance of the cave.

“Learn to open your mind Kubo the Elias know something that we don’t they also have the ability to communicate with kaiju. I’ve never seen anything like it before and if there are two new kaiju capable of destroying the Earth I’d at least want to have Godzilla pointed at the right enemy.” Hikari said before finally moving into the cave. Kubo pulled on his hair for a moment before sighing he told himself that this plan was stupid repeatedly before finally going in after her. Hikari kept moving deeper inside flowing the warm glowing light that was at the end of the cave. She smiled as the light began to touch her face but it quickly disappeared when she was pulled back. Hikari looked up to see Kubo, she was about to yell at him but he quickly put his finger to his mouth. Kubo stepped forward in front of Hikari and began moving forward, with Hikari following closely, both of their eyes widen at what they saw. The inside of the cave had ancient ruins all around with vines hanging along them. At the center was what had Kubo and Hikari’s attention. Two large orange and yellow wings beat down gently, they connected to a large body with white fur, and blue eyes looked up as Mothra let out an echoing chirp.

“Mothra! Kubo we found her.” Hikari said with a smile.

“Yeah we did now let’s go back and find Akiko she’ll want to see this.” Kubo said.

“Isn’t that what the radio’s for?”

“Yeah the one in my helmet that’s currently somewhere one the forest floor.”

“Whose fault was that? And why don’t I have radio?”

“Because I figured you wouldn’t take off like a little kid.”

Before Hikari could respond the earth under their feet began crumble. For Kubo time began to slow as Hikari fell backward. He reached out and grabbed onto Hikari’s hand. Kubo gritted his teeth as Hikari began flailing about, “Hikari look at me! Ok everything’s going to be ok! Just keep your eyes on me,” Hikari looked up at Kubo as she began breathing heavily he cast a smile, “Hehe. Man you’re heavy. Ok now help me out. I’m going to pull you up but you need to lift your legs up. It’ll be just like walking.”

Hikari started to breath heavier she shook her head, “Kubo I can’t do it. I’m not strong enough.”

“Don’t say that. I promise I’m going to get you back up here but I need your help. Now get those legs moving!” Hikari looked into Kubo’s face, who gave her a reassuring look. Her face hardened and she began griping the stone wall with her feet slowly moving forward. Hikari moved further with Kubo grunting as she slowly came back up. Kubo finally pulled her up and Hikari landed on him tears following down her face. Kubo put a smile on his face as he slowly helped Hikari to her feet, “See told you could do it. Now how about we get out of here before the rest of the floor falls in?”

Hikari nodded with a sadden look on her face as she looked back to Mothra. Kubo noticed her gaze and put his hand to his forehead seeing a large hole in the roof of the cave. “Hey look at that hole we could probably fit the Hawk through there.” Kubo said pointing at sky above them. Hikari smiled as she looked up seeing the large opening.

She hugged Kubo tightly almost letting air come out of his lungs, “Thanks Kubo.”

“For What?” Kubo said.

“Well for one saving me and if you manage to get the others to agree to come down here.”

Kubo was about to answer again but was cut by a loud chirp. The ground beneath them began to move again Kubo held Hikari behind him as pulled out his pulse rifle as a dark form slowly rose from the bottom of the cave. A brown worm like creature looked down at them and tilted its head curiously small pieces of shell coming off its body as it moved around. Kubo held his rifle high as he took aim, “Get out of here I’ll keep it distracted.” He whispered over his over his shoulder.

“Kubo that’s a terrible idea let’s just run together before this thing decides to turn us into its dinner.” Hikari said as she slowly started to pull on Kubo’s shoulders tightly.

“There’s no need to worry you two.” A familiar voice said into their heads.

“Please tell me you heard that.” Kubo said as he began turning his looking for the source of the voices.

“Yeah I did,” Hikari said turning her head the same as Kubo, “Moll is that you?”

The giant worm slowly began craning its head down standing on top were the Elias. Moll bowed down greeting her guest. Lora had her arms crossed with an annoyed expression on her face. “Why did you two come here?” Lora asked in a very annoyed tone, “And put your weapon away before you make another mistake.”

“How about you call off the giant worm first.” Kubo said not changing his posture.

“Oh is that so? Well normally we don’t harm humans unless it’s to protect others but I think I can make an exception just this once.” Lora said green energy building in her hands as she prepared to fire a magical burst. As if timed together Hikari and Moll put their hands on their partners and looked into their eyes pleading for them to stop. Kubo and Lora looked at each other before finally loosening up. The giant worm chirped out happily like it was relieved nothing was going to happen.

Moll pat it on the head, “Go back to your mommy ok we’ll be fine.” The worm chirped out as the Elias had a glow come off their bodies and they began to float back to the ground. Hikari watched as the large worm made its way over to Mothra nudging her head. The two kaiju began calling out to each other. Hikari’s eyes widened in shock as she began to put two and two together.

“That’s a larvae. That’s a baby Mothra!” Hikari shouted out. Moll nodded her as Lora turned her back rolling her eyes. Kubo looked down at the mother and child cuddling with each other a small smile creeping onto his face. Lora noticed it and raised an eyebrow. She shrugged it off and began moving toward the exit.

“Come you two need to get off this island now.” Lora said

“For once I agree with you.” Kubo said.

“But Kubo you said we could bring Akiko and Bone Crusher here.” Hikari began to plead.

“Miss. Hikari your friend is right. Mothra can sense a great danger near the island.” Moll said.

“Is it Godzilla?” Kubo asked as a bead of sweat came down his face.

“No we fear something else may be with him.” Lora said.

“You mean one of those apocalypse kaiju you were telling us about?” Hikari asked.

Suddenly a bolt of lightning crackled the air as the sky turned from peaceful blue to dark gray. Hikari and Kubo looked into the sky as Mothra let out a warning screech as she put her wings over her child to protect it. Moll and Lara looked to each other with concern on both of their faces. “Get to Mothra quickly!” the Elias shouted in unison.

“What’s going on?” Kubo asked almost needing to shout as the wind picked up.

“It’s Dagahra!” they shouted back to him.

In the forest
………….
The Hawk landed near Akiko as she looked up at the darkening skies above. The sound of the metal door hitting the ground cued Akiko to begin moving onto the ship. Bone Crusher stood at the entrance looking up at the skies above.
“Akiko something really weird is going.” He shouted as she made her way on broad.

“I’ll say the mood is starting to match what’s about to happen here.” Akiko said.

“Which is what exactly?”

“Let’s just say that the newbie was right about Godzilla.” The name was enough to get Bone Crusher’s eyes to widen. Akiko put her hand on his shoulder, “Let’s find little private and the newbie alright. Before things get any worse around here.”

Bone Crusher jumped into the pilot seat as Akiko got into the co-pilot seat. He began flipping switches The Hawk slowly beginning to lift off the ground Bone Crusher suddenly stopped flipping as he looked at the clouds above. They slowly began to turn clockwise. Akiko looked over to him, “Boney you know the sky better than anyone I know. So for the love of my sanity please tell me that’s not what I think it is.”

“I would try lying but I can’t. That’s funnel cloud.” Bone Crusher said with a hint of dread.

“You can lock onto the trackers in their armor right.”

“Yeah take a look,” Bone Crusher tapped a beeping screen in the front two dots appearing on it with longitude and latitude, “Says here that they’re in the mountain over there.”

“Let’s go then.” Akiko said.

“Let me get this straight you want me to fly into a mountain, pick up two people, and fly out of that mountain mostly likely into what’s starting to look like one of the most powerful storms in history.” Bone Crusher said looking at Akiko like she was insane.

“Either that or fight Godzilla.” Akiko responded.

“Can I play some tunes?”

“Yes but we listen to my music.”

“Ugh fine you can drive a really hard bargain Cap.” The two both shared a laugh before slapping their fist together as the Hawk rose off the ground.

Ocean
…………..
Godzilla fired his atomic breath at Dagahra as he swam around him soon the sea dragon began to circle around more and more. Godzilla couldn’t keep his eyes on the dragon as his speed began to increase. Suddenly he felt himself begin to move along with the water. Dagahra roared out to his enemy more Barem poured out of shoulders and spun in the whirl pool he was creating. They attached onto Godzilla’s body sucking the energy from him as they dug into his skin. Dagahra channeled the power he had into controlling the weather the clouds spun as much as the water until finally Dagahra let a thundering roar. The clouds came down from the sky spinning violently in a tornado.

Godzilla roared out as he began spinning faster inside the vortex as more Barem latched onto him zapping him of his strength. Dagahra stopped spinning and looked at Godzilla with all his strength the sea dragon flew forward and hit the king of monsters at full force slamming him into the sea floor. Godzilla’s vision became blurry Dagahra landed hard on his stomach knocking the air out of his lungs. The green dragon began to pound on Godzilla’s chest using his claws to rip away some of his flesh. Godzilla could barely defend himself as both the Barem and Dagahra attacked him. Dagahra hissed for the Barem as they slowly came back to him entering through his shoulders. Godzilla’s energy surged through Dagahra’s body as his muscles grew along with large spikes on his shoulders. Dagahra let out a victorious roar as he felt his power growing stronger. The sea dragon roared into Godzilla’s face before to large wings ripped out of his back and took off for the sky. Godzilla could only watch on as he was to dazed from the assault to move the world around starting to turn dark.

Infant Island
………..
The Hawk hovered in the air as Akiko and Bone Crusher looked at the sight before them. The dark clouds came down into the ocean spinning in a massive funnel cloud as electrical energy surged through it. Suddenly the twister began to disappear as quickly as it came and the skies remained dark. “Boney please tell me that’s a normal thing with tornados.” Akikio said

“No can’t say I’ve ever seen that before. But is that a normal thing with the water!” Bone Crusher screamed pointing his finger toward the glowing ocean. Suddenly the water exploded to life as a massive green body flew out of it. Dagahra roared out as he dive bombed straight for the island. He set his eyes on the Hawk and unleashed his irabushan beam at the ship. Bone Crusher was quick to dodge the oncoming attack his eyes narrowed. He flew straight at Dagahra full speed as the jets came to life blue flames coming out the back. “I don’t know what this thing is but I’m about to teach it what happens when mess with a man’s paint job!” Bone Crusher shouted as he began arming the Hawk’s weapons systems.

“What is it with guys and their fancy paint jobs?” Akiko asked rolling her eyes as she aimed for Dagahra’s eyes.

The twin canons on the Hawks wings glowed as they built up with energy. “Twin maser canons armed and ready.” Bone Crusher said.

“Aiming complete firing now!” Akiko yelled out as she slammed her hand down on a glowing red button.

Blue energy shout out of the Hawks wings as the masers slammed into Dagahra. He shrieked out in surprise as he was blinded for a moment. The Hawk fired several more shots into Dagahra’s hide causing his skin to sizzle. He growled revealing highly sharpened fangs at his attacker. Bone Crusher saw it through the mirror, “You think he’s angry with us?” Dagahra roared out and flung himself at the Hawk slamming his jaws down close to the Hawk nearly swallowing the plane, if Bone Crusher hadn’t pulled away in time.

“Yeah I don’t think we’re going to be getting a Christmas card any time soon.” Akiko said as she opened fire on Dagahra again. The Hawk flew over Dagahra firing more on his back. Sparks flew off his back as the mazers dug into him. Dagahra’s spines glowed red as he unleashed energy arrows from them. Bone Crusher swerved left and right as each torrent of energy came out. Dagahra charged in at his full speed he let an ear-piercing roar as he flung his claw at the Hawk. Bone Crusher grunted as he pulled on the ump causing the Hawk to spin rapidly. Dagahra however was ready this time flipping his tail up he hit the Hawk’s under side putting it into a tail spin.

Alarm bells rang as red lights flashed around Akiko and Bone Crusher as the Hawk began to nose dive to the ground. Bone Crusher grunted as he pulled on the ump, “Come on baby don’t die on me now!” the Hawk’s nose began to lift as it turned back to the sky. But it quickly hit the ground hard leaving both of its occupants with ringing ears.

“You alive Cap?” Bone Crusher asked shaking his head.

“Yeah, can you get this thing back in the air?” Akiko asked.

Bone Crusher tried flipping the switches to bring the Hawk back to life but out of it came the sound of a dying engine. Bone Crusher shook his head, “Nope that last attack must have fired the skirts.”

Dagahra flew towards the mountain seeing two energy sources inside of it. He roared out and flew off to destroy his enemies. Bone Crusher and Akiko watched from the cockpit as the sea dragon flew off to the mountain. “Isn’t that where Kubo and Hikari are?” Bone Crusher asked nervously.

“Boney this is an order get this bird back in the sky in 5 minutes and get the communication system back up. Command centers going to want hear this.” Akiko said.

“On it captain!” Bone Crusher saluted Akiko and going under the dash board to begin working.

“Be safe in there Kubo.” Akiko looked out the window as Dagahra made his way closer to the mountain.

Inside the cave
………..
Hikari herd Dagahra’s roars outside the cave as she made her way down the stairs watching the Elias come down on the larva Mothra which moved quickly to her Mother. The adult Mothra’s hair began to stand up as she watched the sky. Kubo moved much faster down the steps listening in on the distant roar as well looking up at the sky to make sure nothing happened. When they made it down Kubo was quick to keep Hikari at his side. “Stay with me ok Hikari.” Kubo said. Hikari shook her head nervously as she stuck to Kubo as he cautiously walked toward the Queen of the Monsters. Moll and Lora walked off the larva looking up toward the guardian wondering what to do. Lora was quick to decide she looked over to her sister, “Moll we have to let Mothra fight she’s the only one who can do it.”

“But Lora look at her,” Moll pointed to Mothra her voice shaky, “Mothra isn’t as strong as she was 20 years ago. The flight back from space then laying her egg Mothra needs to rest. Please Lora let me call Godzilla he can help you just have to believe me.”

“Moll this is serious! This isn’t the time for one of your silly little experiments. Even if by miracle Godzilla does beat Dagahra he’ll just turn on the rest of us. Mothra is stronger than you think she can do this.” Lora glared into Moll’s eyes.

Moll looked down unable to argue a small sniffle was heard. Hikari felt like saying something but she soon closed her mouth. She had a sympathizing look in her eye knowing what Moll was going through. Dagahra’s roar from outside grabbed their attention.

“Moll please I can’t do this without you.” Lora pleaded.

Moll looked back to Lara then back towards the two humans she had befriended. She shook her head. Moll and Lora clapped their hands together in a praying motion, they knelt toward Mothra, they sang out a beautiful song. Mothra called out to them along with her offspring the giant moth began beating her wings, she nuzzled her offspring’s head with her own before taking off. A large hand came over the top of the cave as Dagahra peeked his head over the side energy igniting over his the horns on his head. But he was soon meet with a beam of energy to the skull. Slamming him into the forest floor holding his clawed hands to his face roaring in pain. Mothra called out to her old foe before dive bombing him. Dagahra growled and opened his shoulder spikes unleashing streams of energy from them. Mothra slammed her wings down as golden scales came off them and began reflecting Dagahra’s attack back towards him.

Dagahra charged forward ignoring the laser cutting into him slamming into Mothra. Knocking the large moth into the side of the mountain. Mothra’s legs grabbed onto Dagahra as she tried to knock him off but the sea dragon bit down onto one of her wings electing a roar of pain from her. Mothra sent energy through her body shocking Dagahra. He let go of her wing flying away to gain distance as he began charging the irabushan beam. Mothra charged her body and flew forward smashing into Dagahra knocking him out of the sky back into the ground. Mothra charged back into Dagahra assaulting him with massive amounts of mythical lightning that came off her wings. Moll heard the fight outside as she slunk further back behind the group looking back at the stairs that lead to the flower gardens. Hikari looked down to Lora with worried look, “Can she do it on her that thing looked pretty strong.”

“Mothra can do it she beat him once she can do it again.” Lara said with confidence.

“I hope your right.” Kubo said as the sounds of the battle raged on outside.

“Now let’s get you two out of here come on Moll.” Lora turned to find that her sister was missing her eyelids lowered and an annoyed face was planted on her, “Oh no.” Lora took off she ran after her sister. Hikari was surprised as she watched Lara run off into a large structure. She looked over to Kubo who merely shrugged before she took off after Lora.

Kubo sighed and looked at the larva Mothra, “Um… You just wait here little fella.” The larva called out and looked into the sky as Kubo took off after Hikari.

Moll ran into the flower garden trying to conceal herself in the flowers. She found the pond that she was watching Godzilla through. Blue energy coursed through her body as she fired a magical blast. Causing the plants around her to grow rapidly. Moll breathed heavily before looking over the pond of water she waved her hand over the pond ushering a small chant, “Show me what I dream of seeing.” The water rippled for a moment before an image began to twist and form. Like a T.V. an image appeared on it causing Moll to gasp. She saw Godzilla laying on the sea floor unconscious from his fight. “Please wake up you have to get up!” Moll cried out. Godzilla didn’t move.

“I don’t know if you can understand me but please you have to get up. Everyone is in danger and you’re the only one who can save us.” A tear began to fall from Moll’s eye when Godzilla still stayed down. When her tear hit the water almost on command Godzilla’s hand began to twitch. Moll saw it and her face began to light up, “That’s it just keep going you can do it!” Godzilla snarled as his eyes shot open and rose from the sea floor heading to the surface. Moll jumped up in the air cheering for joy. She was unaware of the plants burning behind her.

Lora stepped through the ashes with worried look on her face, “Moll what did you just do?”
Hikari and Kubo ran up behind Lora when Moll spoke “Just calling a friend.”

The Beach

Akiko and Bone Crusher watched as Mothra and Dagahra continued their battle. “Well never thought I’d live to see a kaiju fight before.” Bone Crusher said.

“What they never showed you one in basic training?” Akiko asked sarcastically.

“I think skipped that day. By the way Cap I think you’ll love to hear this.” Bone Crusher flipped the switches on the dash board and the Hawk came back to life as it began hum.

“Not bad Boney five minutes on the dot,” Akiko looked at her watch impressed, “Now let’s get this tin can back in ai-.” Akiko was cut off by the sound of an explosion. Mothra and Dagahra stopped their midair duel and looked toward the ocean to see a blue beam erupting from the water. A massive tail came out of the ocean like a whale. Soon the rest of the body came out, Bone Crusher leaned back in his seat as he slowly craned his head upward. Akiko’s eyes widen at she was seeing her mouth beginning to drop. A massive foot came down in front of them creating an earthquake. Dagahra roared out a threatening bellow trying to make himself look bigger to his opponent by spreading out his wings and flexing his muscles. Claws flexed as orange eyes filled with range glared at Dagahra. The storm clouds Dagahra soon began to unleash lightning but all they did was lock on to the massive spines that acted as lightning rod. A blue glow came off Godzilla as the plasma from the lightning fueled his body. He uttered out an earth shattering roar before charging at the sea dragon.

Hikari heard Godzilla’s battle cry and looked over to Lora who was shaking Moll in her hands. “What was that?” Hikari asked the bickering Elias.

“Godzilla,” Lora said with a quivering lip, “we are so dead.”

“Don’t worry Lora Godzilla’s not going to do anything drastic.” Moll said with a smile as an explosion sounded off with Godzilla and Dagahra roaring. Lora’s eye twitched not believing what she was hearing. She resisted the urge to punch her younger sibling who was smiling at her brightly. Kubo looked over to Hikari with concern on his face. He breathed heavily not knowing what to do until finally Hikari picked up Moll and Lora, the latter of the two greatly struggling.

“Hey put us down!” Lora shouted.

Hikari quickly took off running from where they came. Kubo stood still with a confused look on his face as Hikari looked over her shoulder and called out to him.

“Come on Kubo I’ve got an idea.” She shouted over her shoulder.

Kubo came up behind her moving faster with each step he took. Hikari put on an annoyed face as she tried to move faster than her friend. “Mind filling me in here.” Kubo as he moved forward.

“Yeah we run to the beach while dodging the monsters and get to the Hawk.” Hikari said.

Lora and Kubo looked toward Hikari both shouting the same thing, “That’s a horrible idea!” Moll chuckled to herself liking the idea.

The Beach

Godzilla was pushed back as Dagahra shoved into him with a midair slam. Godzilla roared as he slammed his foot into the ground putting all his strength into his arms he grabbed Dagahra by the throat and slammed him into the ground. Dagahra slashed at Godzilla’s face he let go by tossing the sea dragon five miles into the forest causing a massive shock wave from the earth. The king let out another roar as the scar across his face instantly closed he moved further inland spikes glowing behind him. From the dust Dagahra exploded out claws fully exposed and wings spread like an attacking eagle. The monster king turned and slammed his tail in the sea dragon’s face reacquainting him with the ground. Godzilla fired his atomic breath down on one of Dagahra’s wings punching a hole through it. He roared in pain as he ran off to gain distances from Godzilla, raising his back in the air like an angry cat Dagahra glared and hissed at Godzilla.

Shoulder spikes ripped open as they fired crimson energy at Godzilla. He held his arms ready to receive the attack but golden rays of energy smashed into crimson canceling the attack. Godzilla looked up with surprise as the attack failed to hit him Mothra suddenly flew past him at full speed as she attacked Dagahra. Godzilla watched as the two kaiju began another battle Mothra struck Dagahra with golden lighting who countered by swiping his tail at her. Mothra was knocked out of the sky swirling to try and catch herself in the air Dagahra jumped in the air flashing his fangs. His teeth nearly missed Mothra’s throat before he was yanked away by Godzilla pulling on his tail and slamming down hard.
Dagahra turned his head and bit down on Godzilla’s forearm. He roared out pain as the sea dragon began to pull his flesh off. He snarled before delivering a hard punch to Dagahra’s temple. In a dazed state Dagahra let go of Godzilla’s arm and began stumbling around the world around him was spinning. Godzilla just snarled slamming his tail down on Dagahra’s skull knocking the dragon into the ground.

Mothra corrected herself in the air turning around firing a beam of energy from her antenna hitting the stunned Dagahra in the chest causing him to stumble back. Godzilla looked to Mothra with surprise at seeing her help him she continued to fire her antenna beam pushing Dagahra back as he let out a pained roar. He snorted as his back spines flashed before unleashing his atomic breath the two attacks slammed into before forming into one attack around Dagahra creating a massive explosion engulfing him. The last thing both Godzilla and Mothra heard was shrill squeaking death roar from Dagahra. Godzilla snorted smoke coming out of his nostrils as his irises went back to normal as he calmed down as the skies began to clear up.

Godzilla looked at Mothra seeing the weak energy source coming off her. He leaned his head back and let out a growl. Mothra chirped spreading her wings wide into the air answering Godzilla. He cocked his head back looking at the giant moth before sniffing her like a dog. The two kaiju continued to growl at each other unaware that they had an audience.

Bone Crusher sat wide eyed in his seat while Akiko began to tug on her hair in thought. “Never thought I’d see this in my life time.” Bone Crusher said.

“What Godzilla returning or a giant monster tag team?” Akiko asked jokingly.

“Both from what I’ve heard though from the reports and what Kubo told me about that Ruler’s War thing those two are supposed to be enemies. Why they aren’t fighting each other know?” Bone Crusher looked closely at the two kaiju as they continued their conversation.

“You herd what the newbie said this is a different Godzilla so maybe he doesn’t hold a grudge like his dad did.”

“Speaking of which the trackers back online. You might want get a look at this Cap.” Bone Crusher tapped on the screen showing two green dots on the dash board. Akiko leaned over in shock as the two dots began moving closer.

“Is that little private?” Akiko asked.

“Yeah looks like they’re coming this way.” Bone Crusher said, “What should we do Cap? They’re going to run straight into Godzilla.”

“Head in their direction and cut them off we can’t risk a fight with Godzilla right now.” Akiko said in a commanding tone.

Bone Crusher saluted and brought the Hawk in to the sky the sound of the humming jets caught Godzilla’s attention. His eyes widened as he recognized the thing he’d been following. Godzilla roared out to the Hawk only tilt his head when he didn’t receive a response. The Hawk turned heading inland Godzilla called out again before following. Bone Crusher laughed out as he heard Godzilla’s calls “I think he’s trying to talk to us.” Akiko turned her seat to see Godzilla following the Hawk.

“This isn’t time for laughing numbskull Godzilla’s following us.” Akiko blurted out.

Mothra flew down behind the Hawk cutting off Godzilla’s path chirping out to him before taking a defense stance in the air. She couldn’t risk him coming further inland she had to keep him calm out here. Godzilla did nothing as he looked past her to see the Hawk get away from him. Godzilla growled looking at Mothra annoyed before walking towards the ocean. He looked over to the smoking pile that used to be Dagahra before marching into the sea. Mothra called out to him again he looked over his shoulder seeing the moth floating there. He snorted he had only come out of curiosity now it was settled. Godzilla let a low growl before diving under the ocean.
………..
Jungle
……….
Hikari and Kubo ran through the jungle quickly as they heard Godzilla growling. Moll and Lara both were still held in Hikari’s hands Moll, still smiling that her planned worked, hummed peacefully to herself. While Lora kept her hands over mouth as her face began to turn green. Suddenly Kubo stopped as he looked up into the sky. Hikari almost fell onto him before she stopped herself.

“What’s wrong Kubo?” Hikari asked.

“Don’t you hear that?” Kubo responded looking up into the sky.

Hikari listened closely but herd nothing out the ordinary. Moll held her hands to ears trying to help as but she looked to Hikari shrugging. “Sorry Mr. Kubo but I don’t hear thing. Lora what about you?” Moll asked looking over to her sister.

“Can we …glurp…. Go back….glurp… To the temple.” Lora said clenching her mouth.

“Kubo we can’t hear anything. Now let’s keep going before Lora throws up in my hand.” Hikari said.

“There’s something coming this way.” Kubo said motioning for Hikari to get behind him.

Hikari got behind him as suddenly the tree tops began to move. Moll looked over to Lora worriedly but Lora was half unconscious, her head was still spinning. Kubo’s face went from worried to joy as the Hawk came out from the tree line. It landed next to them with ease as the cargo door opened. Akiko stepped out from behind the Hawk, “So what have you two love birds been up to when you ditched me in the jungle.”

“Yeah sorry about that Captain Akiko I kind of got caught up in the moment.” Hikari said chuckling nervously.

“You can make it up to me later newbie. Now if you and little private can get on broad there’s something you may want to see and bring the fairies to.” Akiko said with a smirk.

Kubo and Hikari looked to each other with confused faces before following Akiko. As soon as they got on board the Hawk took to the skies. “So bring back anything nice from your little trip?” Bone Crusher asked.

“How about these two little cuties?” Hikari said as she sat the Elias down in front of him.

Bone Crusher looked at them with a raised eyebrow and whistled clearly impressed with what he saw, “You know what? Today’s starting to be a fun for day for me. Fought a kaiju, saw Godzilla, and I was saved by Mothra twice.”
“Um… excuse me but where is Godzilla?” Moll asked nervously.

“Ever since Mothra stopped him from following us he kind of just stormed off back to the ocean.” Bone Crusher said still looking over Moll with surprised eyes.

Moll’s shoulder’s sagged as she let out a sad sigh. Hikari looked to Moll feeling bad for her, “Hey don’t feel bad if you called him once you can do it again.” Moll smiled to Hikari.

“Not to rain on the parade or anything but what happened to that weird sea dragon kaiju?” Kubo asked.

“Yeah what’s left of him is over there,” Akiko pointed out the window to the still smoking pile of ash that used to be Dagahra, “Godzilla and Mothra teamed up to beat him never seen anything like it before.”

Moll and Hikari’s eyes widen when they heard the word team up. Moll jumped up in the air cheering as she grabbed Lora by the shoulders shaking her. Lora’s face cringed as her head began to spin again. “Lora I was right; I was right Godzilla did it!” she shouted to her sister.

Suddenly the water burst apart as Godzilla rose out of it roaring out in the sky and staring in the distant with a crazed look. Mothra joined him as she flew over the Hawk creating a massive gust that shook the crew inside. Her hair stood up as she began looking in the same direction. Energy pulsed through both kaiju as they knew something was coming. Lora snapped out of her dizziness and looked to Moll both showing signs of worry. Kubo saw that the kaiju and Elias were acting strange.

“Hey ladies mind telling the humans what’s going on here.” Kubo said.

“The seal is starting to break on Desghidorah’s prison.” The Elias said in unison.

“What’s this Desghidorah thing you’re talking about?” Bone Crusher asked, “Is it like that other one?”

“No Desghidorah is much stronger than Dagahra.” Lora answered in a worried tone.

“He was the reason the first civilization on this planet went extinct.” Moll continued.

Bone Crusher pulled out a map in front of the screen typing longitude and latitude until finally a picture of North America appeared on screen zooming in as he typed more. Finally it stopped and Bone Crusher’s normal attitude changed from relaxed to nervous. “Guys I don’t know how to say this but Godzilla and Mothra are looking straight at California.” Bone Crusher said as he began to look at all the populated areas near the coast. Akiko looked at the screen concern on her face until she looked to Elias.

“You two said this thing was sealed right? Can you find it on the map?” Akiko asked.

Moll and Lara looked hard at the map of California before finally pointing to a single spot, “He’s here.” They said in unison.

“Split Mountains thanks girls,” Akiko said as she stood up and looked at her team, “Bone Crusher get us to California now, little private open me up a coms link to central command I got feeling were going to need big guns, and fairies I don’t know how but keep Godzilla and Mothra from making landfall until we can lure this new monster away from civilians. Do I make myself clear?”

Bone Crusher, and Kubo saluted Akiko already working. Moll and Lora looked to Akiko, “Um Miss. Akiko I can’t really tell Godzilla what to do more like point him in a certain direction.” Moll said.

“Moll can’t you at least keep him in the water?” Lora asked. Moll looked at her sister then the others around her. She took a calming breath closing her eyes as she prepared herself. She straightened her face and hoped onto the dash board to look at the window to the growling Godzilla. Moll got down to her knees putting her hands in praying form as blue energy began to dance around her. The young Elias began to let out a hum. His eyes widened as Moll’s soft voice began to hit him the crazed look in his eyes were gone. His arms fell to his sides and Godzilla let out roar before diving back under the water.
………
Temple
……….
Moll’s song wasn’t only affecting Godzilla but Mothra’s larva as well. She felt the same energy as her mother and wanted to help her in battle. The young one looked out to see the small lake inside the temple. She quickly dove under the water finding an underwater cave that led to the open ocean. The young Mothra moved out following behind Godzilla in secret.

Hawk
……….
Moll caught her breath as she began to topple over. Lora caught her younger sister who looked back to her then the others behind her, “Did it work?” Moll asked nearly huffing.

“Yeah Godzilla’s heading out right now.” Hikari said with a smile. Moll laughed weakly before finally she passed out in Lora’s arms. Hikari looked concerned as she looked over to Kubo.
“Hey is she going to be alright we have a first aid kit in the back.” Kubo said as he reached for them.

“She’ll be fine the stupid girl just used as much energy as Godzilla to breach his mind. She’ll probably be unconscious for the next few hours. You don’t have to fear about Mothra she’ll keep away from the cities.” Lora said calmly but with a sadden face as she held her sister tighter in her arms.

Akiko sat down in her seat motioning for Bone Crusher to start flying, “Alright ladies and gentlemen let’s go save the world.” The Hawk flew off after Godzilla with Mothra flowing them into the skies.

Split Mountains
………….
The rocks came down around the group of hikers as they made their way through the game trails. The earth shook as the ground beneath their feet began to split with steam coming out. “What going on?!” one of the hikers shouted as he fell to the ground. Suddenly one of the mountains began to break apart a large chunk of the tip tumbled to the ground with an earth shattering boom. Many people began to run away as the earth began to tear apart with lava flowing from the ground and what followed next caused many to freeze in place. An elephant like shriek pierced the air along with a red eye staring out at the freedom it so longed for.
