Part 3: Godzilla vs Desghidorah!

San Francisco International Airport (Temporary Anti Godzilla Attack Force Base)

Miki landed the helicopter in the middle of the airport with a massive thud. Hughes came out of the helicopter holding his head to stop it from shaking. “There made it safe and sound.” Miki said as she climbed out.

“You were supposed to land on the roof not the middle of a runway.” Hughes grumbled as he began to make his way to the airport. Miki followed after him carrying a small suit case. Hughes looked around angrily still seeing people and soldiers around the airport being transported out.

“I thought I told them to clear the city when I got here.” Hughes said.

“Now, Hughesy, not everyone can be as fast as you.” Miki said.

Hughes rolled his eyes and kept moving forward ignoring Miki. The two of them made it to the airport where the inside had been completely transformed. Rows of people were being shown out exits by soldiers. The halls that used to contain people now was full of computers, radios, and other pieces of equipment. Hughes looked at all the equipment during his walk through some soldiers stopped what they were doing to salute him. Hughes nodded his toward them as Miki came from behind him winking at the other soldiers with a smile and wave. She soon noticed a satellite system with the words Pacific Ocean labeled on the screen. Miki walked over to the computer and the soldier sitting in the seat.

She wrapped her hand around the soldiers face like claws. Miki leaned over his shoulder studying the screen with a smile. “Well what are we looking at here?” Miki asked turning an evil smile to the solider, “Just how many people have you told about this?”

“None Ma’am, I just started tracking.” The soldier said scared as Miki began tightening her grip on his face.

“Good boy, now run along and don’t tell a soul what you saw on the screen,” Miki said as she grabbed a small radio and it crushed like paper, “or else you’re going to need find a plastic surgeon.”

The soldier shook his head up and down as Miki let go of his face and he began to runoff. Miki waved good bye to him with a smile still plastered to her face. It soon disappeared after opening her suitcase and taking out a tablet. She pulled the cables out from the computer and began connecting them to her tablet. With lightning speed Miki typed away on the computer which showed all the data being transferred over. “Data transfer complete.” A robotic voice came from the tablet.

“Thaaaaank you.” Miki said in a whisper. She looked around making sure no one was watching as she yanked wires from the computer shutting it off for good. Miki looked down at the flashing tablet with data stolen from the computer. A smile creeped across her face as she looked down at the satellite image of a high radiation spot moving in the ocean. “Well, well, well looks like you really are back…Gojira.” Miki said but then she put her hand to her head scratching it, “Or is it Godzilla? Maybe when Hikari gets here she can explain it to me again.”

“Miki, what have told you about wandering off?!” Hughes yelled out from across the hall.

“Coming.” Miki called take her belongings with her as she skipped back to Hughes.

The Hawk

Hikari slept in the chair, Akiko sat her in, while she kept the Elias held in her hands. She looked out the window sighing as the clouds passed. “Sorry about what I said earlier.” Akiko said. Moll and Lora looked up at her with a confused look on their tear stained faces.

“No, you were right if we stayed behind it wouldn’t have brought Mothra back.” Lora said trying to sound tuff despite almost being broken inside.

“If you want to cry then do it. That’s why I’m here,” Akiko said as tears began to fall from her face, “I know what you’re going through losing friends I mean. But I guess that comes with the job I suppose.”

Suddenly a moan caught all their attention as Hikari began batting her eyes. Hikari clenched her still aching stomach. Akiko sat Moll and Lora down on the ground as she wiped some of the tears off her face. “Glad to see your awake sleepy head.” She called over to Hikari.

“What happened? Where’s Mothra?” Hikari asked still dazed.

“You had a bit of a tummy ache so I brought you back here.” Akiko said.

“Hey that was you!” Hikari shouted pointing at Akiko angrily, “We need to land the ship Mothra could still be alive.”

“So let me get this straight you’d rather save one life and let another thousand perish.” Akiko said.

“What…no but there has to be something we can do right?” Hikari eyes began to widen as tears formed when she began to realize the truth, “I don’t know what to do Akiko. I thought I had the answers, but instead everything went wrong.”

“Not everything goes the way we plan it.” Akiko said.

“Yeah, but Mothra died because I thought we could send her out to fight for us,” Hikari had tears falling down her face as she turned to the Elias, “Moll, Lora I’m so sorry this wasn’t supposed to happen.”

Akiko put Hikari’s head on her shoulder as began to cry into it, “It’s not your fault I was thinking the same thing as you were.” Akiko soon had tears falling off her face as well.

“It’s no one’s fault.” Lora said as she and Moll began to levitate up to sit on the arm rest of the chair, “Mothra, would have gone to fight whether you asked her or not. That’s was just her personality.”

Soon the Elias began to hug onto Hikari’s arms trying to comfort her more. Hikari kept crying covering Akiko’s shoulder in her tears. “What about Godzilla? He’s going to fight Desghidorah all alone.” Hikari said in between her tears.

“He won’t be alone I’m fighting with him.” Akiko said as she took Hikari off her shoulder and looked her in the eye, “Hikari your idea is great and I know it can save lives.”

“But what about Godzilla’s life? What about your life?” Hikari asked.

“What about the lives of the innocent people who get caught up in all of this?” Akiko responded.

“Hikari, Lora and I know firsthand what Desghidorah can do if he isn’t stopped. Godzilla’s the only one who can do it.” Moll said as she pulled on Hikari’s arm.

“I hate to admit it, but even I think Moll is right.” Lora said. Moll smiled as she looked at her sister who tried to hide her face behind Hikari’s arm. Hikari smiled at them which caused Akiko to do the same.

“Well then glad to see you can still smile, newbie.” Akiko said wiping tears off Hikari’s face, “Let’s just hope he still thinks the Hawk is his friend because we did kind of leave him behind back on the island.”

“I think you’ll be fine just don’t try to make him angry. He does have a bit of an attitude problem that I’m working on.” Moll said with a laugh her mood begging to lift.

Suddenly the speaker in the room came on crackling with Bone Crusher’s voice, “Attention passengers we are currently making an unscheduled stop at San Francisco airport. Please remember to fasten your seatbelts and lift up your trays.” The speaker then cut off leaving the room silent. Soon the clouds began to rise higher as Akiko fell to her butt with the descending ship.

“Owwww! Those two are so dead!” Akiko hissed before looking back at Hikari, “Oh yeah, Hikari I’m asking this as a friend, but don’t tell anyone I was crying okay? Still got an image to hold with dumb and dumber out there.”

“Okay, secret’s safe with us right girls.” Hikari said with a snicker while looking down at Moll and Lara. Moll shook her head yes with a laugh while Lara rubbed her chin thinking. An evil grin came across her face as she pointed toward Akiko.

“Only if you apologize for shaking me until I got sick.” Lora said

“Fine I’m sorry for shaking you.” Akiko said with a sigh while rolling her eyes.

“Sorry but that’s not good enough. Try getting on her hands and knees while saying ‘Please great and powerful, Lora, forgive my insolence.’ And I might forgive you.” Lora had a massive grin on her face.

Hikari laughed while Moll looked to toward a highly annoyed Akiko. Moll’s eyes glowed blue and her voice suddenly appeared in Akiko’s head.

'You should just do it, Lora can really hold a grudge.' Moll said mouthing the word sorry when Akiko looked at her.

Akiko let a loud groan as she went to her hands and knees. Lora came from the chair landing in front of Akiko putting her to hand to her ear.

“This is so embarrassing,” Akiko said with a sigh as she gulped down her pride, “Please forgive great and powerful, Lora, forgive my insolence.”

“All is forgiven you are just minor human after all.” Lora mocked as she pat Akiko’s head like a dog. Akiko’s left eye began to twitch as she began to growl. She soon picked up Lora holding her close to her face.

“Don’t push your luck, little fairy.” Akiko said with a snarl.

“Hey put me down right now!” Lora said punching the air trying to hit Akiko’s face.

“Those two really know how to get under each other’s skin.” Moll said watching Akiko and Lora growl at each other like wild dogs. Hikari was finally starting to feel happy again as she laughed at the little fight going on. Until a thought occurred to her.

“Hey guys you don’t think Desghidorah is going to land in San Francisco?” Hikari asked.

“You’re right that’s an all you can eat buffet to him.” Akiko said putting Lora on the ground as her eyes widen at the shock.

“That’s not what I meant,” Hikari said putting a hand to her chin in thought, “What I really mean is Moll said she couldn’t control Godzilla that well right Moll?”

“Yes the first time I called out to him Godzilla barely paid attention until I started to sing. The second time was when I had to wake him up to when Dagahra attacked. Then the third was when I had to calm him down before he went on a rampage.” Moll answered.

“Yeah you see all Moll did was just grab his attention, but he’s still probably going crazy about Desghidorah.” Hikari said pointing out a fact no one in the room was getting.

“Yeah so what isn't that what we want?” Akiko asked.

“It is, but do you want him going berserk in the middle of a city of 800,000 people?” Hikari said grimly.

Akiko’s eyes widened at the thought, “It’d be like the ‘Rulers War’ but even worse.”

“Moll can you call him off we can’t let him near the city.” Lora asked.

“No, I can’t it’s like Hikari said, all I did was grab his attention even if I did it again Desghidorah would still drive Godzilla insane. You saw him on the island Godzilla want’s to fight and I think it’s best we let him.” Moll said shaking her head.

“Well I guess were going to have to clear the city then.” Akiko said as she began tugging on her hair, “Shouldn’t cost that much to repair a city right?”

“You don’t know how money works do you, Akiko?” Hikari said looking to Akiko with a surprised look on her face.

“Not a clue.” Akiko said proudly holding her head up in the sky.

Hikari and the Elias all had dumbstruck looks on their faces at the sight of Akiko.

“Amazing you actually admit to being an idiot.” Lara said with a scoff. Akiko responded by shaking Lara like a rattle.

Outside Hikari and Moll heard the wheels of the Hawk hit the ground. Hikari was quick to look out the window with a surprised look on her face along with Moll, who hoped onto her shoulder. Large mazer tanks rolled along the airport runway alongside the planes that were already there. Soldiers wearing the same G-armor as Akiko, Kubo, and Bone Crusher ran by the Hawk carrying massive guns.

“Looks like we don’t have to worry about evacuation.” Akiko said leaning over Hikari’s shoulder. A knock on the door grabbed everyone in the room attention. The door slid open revealing Kubo and Bone Crusher behind it.

“Welcome to San Francisco ladies.” Bone Crusher said.

Kubo looked over to Hikari who met his gaze. She quickly smiled at him to show she was okay. Akiko cast a smile to, but this one was wicked and caused Bone Crusher’s eyes to widen in fear. Akiko handed over Lora, who was still dizzy to a confused looking Hikari.

“Boys, why didn’t you warn me before we started descending?” Akiko asked cracking her knuckles.

“Well you see, Captain, we had to make a quick dive in order to get here quickly.” Bone Crusher said nervous.

“Yeah, General Hughes, really wanted to talk to us so we had to move fast.” Kubo said with a nervous chuckle. Akiko gave an unamused look before cracking her neck.

“Use your words Aki please.” Bone Crusher said holding his hands up to his face. Akiko jumped into the air tackling Kubo and Bone Crusher to the ground. Both men were screaming like children as Akiko began punching them. Hikari watched on as Akiko kept at it she smiled looking over at her.

“I wonder if I can be like her.” Hikari whispered as she looked at her reflection in the window.

“If you mean a brute I’d suggest against it.” Lora said trying to steady herself.

“That’s not what she meant, Lora.” Moll said patting her sister on the back almost making her cough up.

San Francisco International Airport

Hikari kept patting Moll and Lora down in her coat pocket as they walk through the airport. Bone Crusher looked around at the computers and soldiers running around giving an impressed whistle. Kubo looked around at the people still running to the cars trying to get out of the city. Akiko kept her eyes forward as she walked keeping her face hard. Suddenly Lora’s annoyed voice came into everyone’s head.

'How much longer do we have to stay in her?' Lora asked.

'Not much longer just until we find the General.' Hikari said.

'I’m not the only freaked out about the mind talking right?' Bone Crusher asked looking at the others without moving his lips.

'You learn to get used to it.' Hikari said reassuringly.

Suddenly a loud grumble drew the group’s attention to the top of a stair case. General Hughes stood at the top with Miki standing next to him waving at Hikari.

“Who is the hot red head?” Bone Crusher thought out loud with a smile. Akiko stomped on his foot before walking up the steps. Hughes and Akiko both held firm looks at each other like two opponents sizing each other up for a fight. Miki broke the silence by almost tackling Hikari and Kubo bringing them into a massive bear hug.

“Hikari, Kubo! It feels like ages since the last time I saw you two.” Miki said almost chocking the life out of both of them with her hug.

“Didn’t we have lunch last week?” Kubo asked trying to break from Miki’s steel like grip.

“Oh yeah right.” Miki said dropping Kubo and Hikari on the floor, “By the way Hikari can you tell me again is it Gojira or Godzilla.”

“It’s either one they’re both the same word. Why do you ask?” Hikari said shaking her to clear the dizziness away.

“Oh, simple because I wanted to ask what he looked like on Infant Island. Oh and are those two little girls in pocket okay? That looked like a hard fall.” Miki asked rubbing her chin.

Akiko, Bone Crusher, Hikari, and Kubo looked at Miki with their mouths hanging open. Moll and Lora climbed out of Hikari’s pocket with confused looks as well. “How did you even?” Bone Crusher was about to ask before Hughes put his hand up shaking his head.

“It’s best if you don’t let, Miki, get to you.” Hughes said before turning back to Akiko who straitened her back up, “Now then, Captain Akiko, I do believe your Lieutenant told me you had a funny story well I’m ready to laugh.”

“You have a place where we can talk in private I think were attracting a crowd.” Akiko said in a condescending tone causing the General to sneer. But when he looked around he saw that other soldiers were trying to listen on the conversation.

“Fine then you and the scientist come with me,” Hughes said pointing toward Akiko and Hikari then he turned to Kubo and Bone Crusher, “you two do something that won’t annoy me.”

“Sir yes sir.” Bone Crusher responded immediately.

Kubo was reluctant to reply as he helped Hikari back to her feet. Akiko put her hand on his shoulder giving him a wink and smile.

“Sir yes sir.” Kubo said with a sigh.

General Hughes and Miki walked with Akiko and Hikari following behind them. Kubo watched as Hikari left him behind Bone Crusher walked up.

“Well it seems the General is just as jolly as ever.” Bone Crusher said sticking his tongue out.

“Yeah.” Kubo said not looking at him.

“Hikari, will be fine she’s a big girl.”

“Hope your right.”

Bone Crusher punched Kubo in the arm giving him a smile, “Of course I’m right when have ever been wrong.”

“The time you thought you could date twins at the same time.” Kubo said starting to chuckle.

“It would have worked if they wore the identification necklaces I gave them. Now come on let’s go see if this place has a Subway.” Bone Crusher said turning around in the opposite direction. Kubo looked back at the smaller growing form of Hikari before following Bone Crusher.

“I think they evacuated all the employees.” Kubo called over to Bone Crusher.

“You don’t need employee to make a sandwich. Now come on I’m hungry.” Bone Crusher called over his shoulder.

A Few Minutes Later

……….

Hikari and Akiko sat in the airport security room with Moll and Lora sitting on a table next to them. Hughes stood up rubbing his eyes not believing what he herd or at what he was seeing. Miki looked at the Elias with childlike curiosity as her eyes expanded. She held her finger out to poke Lora in the face, but pulled back when Lora bit down giving a growl.

“Oh feisty I like this one.” Miki said, “What’s your name again little one.”

Lora grumbled and looked away Moll rolled her eyes before bowing toward Miki and Hughes, “Nice to meet you I’m Moll and this loveable grump is my older sister Lora.”

“This one is so cute! Hughes can I keep her?” Miki asked Hughes with a squeal of delight.

“No, now focus,” Hughes snarled causing Miki turn her head and pout, “now tell me again you saw Godzilla and Mothra working together to fight off another monster.”

Hikari shook her head nervously while Akiko rolled her eyes with a groan, “For the thousandths time yes.”

“Then these two little creatures somehow sensed this new kaiju with magic and can also talk with kaiju.” Hughes continued after shooting Akiko a glare that she just as easily returned back.

“Technically speaking it’s Mothra who understands we’re still trying to teach Godzilla, he’s a bit of a hard learner.” Akiko said as she put her feet up on the table.

“You act like that thing is some kind of pet.” Hughes said with one of his eyebrows twitching at the sight of Akiko.

“I’m not trying to treat him like a pet.” Moll shouted causing Hughes to pin his eyes down at her almost making her back away until Lora stepped in front of her.

“My sister loves all forms of life and treating all creatures equally. What you call treating Godzilla like a pet is her form of trying to befriend him.” Lora spoke up for her sister.

“You have an interesting outlook on friends, considering that he’s the deadliest creature on the planet. And not only do you I have a three headed monster who’s stronger than the Mothra. I now have the King of the Monsters heading for San Francisco.” Hughes said in a huff as he held up a tablet of showing high levels of radiation of the oceans near California. Though his words fell on deaf ears.

When he mentioned Mothra’s fight it caused the Elias to start forming tears in their eyes. Hikari gave a concerned look for them as she brought her finger up to wipe a tear from Moll’s face. Akiko slammed her feet back down and jumped up putting a finger on Hughes’s chest.

“Watch what you say about, Mothra, around us got it! She fought harder than any one of us out there.” Akiko snarled.

“Okay, everyone let’s calm down before someone does or says something they regret.” Miki said getting in between Akiko and Hughes. Hikari quickly began calming Akiko down to sit her back down. But the peace didn’t last long a loud boom from the outside quickly grabbed everyone in the room’s attention.

“Akiko?” Hikari said

“Yeah I think our friend is her.” Akiko said.

“Desghidorah.” The Elias said in fear.

Outside

Desghidorah came down from the sky shooting out Lava Gouts from his left and right head blowing the ground to pieces. Tanks shot at Desghidorah, but were unable to pierce his hide along with the jets that flew past him dropping bombs. The maser tanks soon began firing causing sparks to fly off the dragon’s rock like skin. The middle head began building up flames inside the mouth before letting out a Tartarus flame melting everything that was caught in its path.

Back Inside

Bone Crusher looked up over the counter he was behind to see the explosions of the outside world. Kubo rushed up to him, “I think we may have a problem.”

“Why do kaiju always choose the worst possible time to attack?” Bone Crusher said as he swallowed part of the sandwich he was eating. He quickly tossed it away and ran toward the exit with Kubo chasing behind.

“Why is your instinct to run toward the explosion?” Kubo called behind him.

“Because these guys aren’t doing anything to that thing.” Bone Crusher called out.

“And what can you do?”

“Get him out away from everyone else.”

Bone Crusher burst through the door leaving Kubo behind. Kubo turned looked back to where Hikari was. He turned his head back to the door Kubo shook his with a groan.

“Be safe, Hikari.” Kubo whispered before bursting out of the door following Bone Crusher.

They ran past all the soldiers running in the opposite direction. They kept their eyes forward as the Hawk came into view. Not caring about the war going on around them as the entire army was attacking Desghidorah. A lava gout came down from the sky blowing up a nearby plane knocking Kubo off his feet. He landed hard on the ground and into the shattered rocks. He quickly began to rise not caring about the blood going down his face. Bone Crusher made it to the Hawk as he slammed down on the ramp to lower it.

“Kubo, they were nice enough to give me some fuel, but do you mind moving the pump for me.” Bone Crusher called out.

Kubo didn’t verbally respond, but he did run under the wing and pulled at the fuel pump. He quickly pulled on it with all his might until the pop signaled that it came out. The fuel pump came down hard in front of Kubo and he sighed wiping some of the blood from his face. The ground shook causing Kubo to stumble before turning to a massive black foot standing in front of him. Desghidorah stood in front of the Hawk snarling with smoke coming out of all three of mouths.

“Guess you remember us. Don’t you?” Kubo said pulling out his pulse rifle and firing three shots at the kaiju’s chest. The middle head looked down at Kubo before fire came into his mouth as he charged a Tartarus flame.

Inside

……..

Hikari and Akiko ran past all the soldiers seeing what going on outside. Hikari eye’s widened at the site before her. She looked around trying to find Kubo inside but he wasn’t there. Hikari ran past Akiko banging on the window. Akiko came in behind her seeing Desghidorah standing in front of the Hawk with a little form firing at his middle head.

“Kubo run! Get away!” Hikari called out banging on the glass. Moll and Lara gasped when they poked their heads out Hikari’s pockets. Akiko could feel her heart pounding as she felt dread taking over. A blue flash quickly caught the women's attention as they all looked towards the window. Spikes came out of the water near the airport Moll's face quickly turned from terror into a smile.

“Godzilla!” Moll shouted with delight.

“Newbie, get away from the window now!” Akiko shouted as she pulled out her pulse rifle. Hikari moved away as Akiko blasted out the window. She quickly hoped out landing on a bush motioning for Hikari to follow. Lora saw what Akiko was doing and looked at Hikari.

“Don’t tell me you’re actually going to jump.” Lora pleaded, but Hikari steeled herself placing the Elias in her hands before jumping out the window with Lora screaming.

Outside

Godzilla burst out of the water roaring furiously at Desghidorah. He quickly ran charging past the planes and tanks on the ground as he slammed into the black dragon knocking him away from the Hawk. Godzilla roared out as he kept himself in between the Hawk and Desghidorah. Kubo looked up at the snarling Godzilla in amazement at what he was seeing, “He’s protecting us.”

Desghidorah roared and charged at Godzilla all three heads swinging wildly in the air. The two kaiju collided together with a massive boom each one trying to push the other on the ground. Godzilla’s feet dug into the ground as Desghidorah began to push back, but Godzilla quickly fired his atomic breath on to the dragons back. Desghidorah roared before backing off and gaining distance he quickly fired lava gouts each one slamming into Godzilla as tried to keep the Hawk behind him. Kubo was quick to realize what was happening and ran inside the Hawk jumping into the passenger seat.

“Boney, Godzilla’s holding that thing back for us. We need to get in the air so he can fight for real.” Kubo word’s snapped Bone Crusher out of the daze he was in from the fight.

“On it!” Bone Crusher said as he flipped switches bringing the Hawk in the air.

Godzilla watched as the Hawk flew off he snarled and flexed his tail. Godzilla spun around bringing his tail down on Desghidorah’s left side knocking the dragon off his feet. He quickly went around the downed dragon and grabbed him by the tail. Using all of his strength Godzilla tossed Desghidorah away sending him crashing close to the water. Desghidorah rose back up shaking his heads he was ready to fight tear into the new threat. If it wasn't for the water suddenly exploding as the young Mothra burst out of the ocean slamming him in the chest. The surprise and force of the attack knocked Desghidorah back into an oncoming atomic breath attack. The dragon snarled his left and right head shooting Godzilla and Mothra glares. Godzilla and Mothra roared out towards their enemy each of them striking a fighting stance as they stood on either side of the dragon.

Moll and Lora looked shocked to see the younger Mothra in the area.

“What’s the young one doing here?” Lora asked.

“She must have snuck out and followed, Godzilla.” Moll said.

Akiko didn’t care about the conversation going on between the Elias as she looked up into the air. Seeing the Hawk flying caused her to sigh with relief. Hikari saw it as she wiped a small tear of joy at knowing Kubo was safe. Suddenly the sound of rolling tanks got the women’s attention as maser tanks began to point at Godzilla.

“What are those idiots doing?!” Akiko shouted as the tanks began lighting up.

The maser tanks erupted with energy and hit Godzilla in the face causing him to roar out in surprise. Desghidorah took advantage of the distraction and tackled the monster king to the ground. The Hawk quickly came in firing missiles at Desghidorah but he ignored it and stomped down Godzilla’s chest. Mothra cried as she raced to her new friend’s rescue she began to rear up like a cobra and spat webbing from her mouth. Mothra’s acid web began sticking to all three of Desghidorah’s heads burning and tying them together. Godzilla breathed out atomic flames hitting the middle head he quickly began to scratch at Desghidorah’s legs to move them from his chest. Godzilla pressed down hard managing to break though the dragons tough hide. Desghidorah reared up on his hind legs which caused his blood to fly out across the airport. Hikari’s eyes widen when she saw the orange blood hit a nearby tank and it began to melt.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, he bleeds lava!” She shouted out as more of the lava like blood came raining down toward her and Akiko. She quickly grabbed Akiko pulling her along under a plane to hide under.

The sound of a massive boom and Godzilla’s scream of pain got her attention. Desghidorah came down full force on Godzilla’s chest as he snapped the webbing around his heads. His claws dug into Godzilla’s chest as Desghidorah took him into the air and then dropped him on the row tanks below them. The loud crash knocked Akiko and Hikari off their feet they tried to get back up but another crash knocked them back to the ground. Desghidorah slammed his foot down on Godzilla’s head pressing him down on the burning shards of tanks. Mothra roared out as she lunged at Desghidorah tail biting down hard on it. He roared out in annoyed pain as lifted his tail up along with the young kaiju. The left head turned around and fired a lava gout into Mothra knocking her off his tail back into the ocean.

Moll and Lora didn’t have time to react before they heard Godzilla roar out in rage as he tried to push Desghidorah off himself. After seeing what happened to his young friend, and already knowing what happened to the older Mothra, Godzilla was beginning to grow even more angered toward his enemy. Slow to rise, pieces of tanks still falling from his face, he was still able to cast a snarl. Desghidorah ripped his wings out of his back roaring out at Godzilla for making a face like that him and for causing him to bleed. He jumped in the air grabbing Godzilla’s neck with the left head, his thrashing arm with right, the middle saw San Francisco in the distance and cracked an evil smile. But it was cut off when a missile from the Hawk slammed into his jaw.

The Hawk flew down out of the sky its twin maser cannons firing on the other two heads to try and force them to let go of Godzilla. Desghidorah fired a Tartarus flame forcing the plane to spin away to gain distant. The dragon took advantage of the confusion as he beat his wings down taking Godzilla into the air. The Hawk followed behind trying to blast Desghidorah in the back but the dragon payed it no attention. Hikari, Akiko, and the Elias looked on as the Hawk flew off in the distance.

“Well their goes our ride.” Akiko said with a sigh.

“What should we do? They’re heading for the city.” Hikari said.

Two soldiers ran up to them. Each one having hardened faces as they looked the two women over.

“Captain Akiko, the General has ordered for you to return back to the base.” One of the soldiers said.

Akiko looked at them before looking back at the airport tugging on her hair in thought. A smile came across her face as she turned back to the soldiers.

“Tell me who ordered for Godzilla to be shot?” Akiko asked.

The two soldiers looked toward each other in confusion before the larger of them stepped forward.

“The General ordered for me to give the commands to ground units. Now please come with us.” The larger soldier said holding out his arm to pull Akiko along.

“Good to know.” Akiko said as a smile came across her face. She quickly pulled on the large soldier’s arm pulling him into a right hook across his jaw slamming him to the ground. Before the other soldier could react Akiko slammed her leg into his chest knocking the wind out of him. Before the soldier could get back up Akiko stomped her foot in his face.

“That was for Godzilla.” Akiko said brushing the hair out of his face and turning back to a surprised Hikari, “Well let’s get going before anyone else shows up.”

“Where are you going?” Hikari asked.

“To the city obviously. That’s where the worm is headed.”

Before Hikari or the Elias could ask Akiko pointed out to the ocean for them to see Mothra swimming through the water. Moll and Lora both sighed with relief as Akiko began running towards a parking lot. Hikari quickly chased after her already panting from the run. Finally both made it to the parking lot. Hikari’s huffing muffled out the sound off Lora throwing up in her coat pocket.

“Miss. Hikari, you need a new coat…glurp…. Uh oh not again.” Lora said sickly as she ducked back into Hikari’s pocket. The sound of vomiting could be heard from inside Hikari's pocket.

“You can handle a plane ride, but one little shake can make you sick?” Moll chuckled looking over at her sister from the other pocket.

“SHUT…glurp…UP!” Lara hissed.

“Come on girls don’t act like this,” Hikari said as she pulled Lora out of her pocket but then saw what she did inside of her pocket, “Oh man, this was a gift from, Miki.”

“Sorry.” Lora moaned.

Akiko laughed while trying to find a car. Lora growled at her while being placed next to Moll. Akiko looked around finally finding the car that peeked her interest. She cracked her knuckles with a hum before punching out the glass. Hikari looked around making sure no one could see them.

“Um, Akiko, do we really have to steal a car?” Hikari asked nervously.

“What do you mean? This is a rental car you can’t steal a rental car just borrow them.” Akiko said as she unlocked the car.

“I don’t know what a rental car is, but I even I know that was stupid.” Lora said weakly.

Akiko rolled her eyes before hot wiring the car. Soon the car began to hum to life and Hikari got in the passenger seat. Akiko sniffed her lab coat holding her nose, “Leave the coat outside.”

Lora blushed with embarrassment as she and Moll sat in Hikari’s lap. Akiko slammed on the gas spinning the wheel hard as they pulled out of the airport and on to the road.

San Francisco

Thousands of people moved through the city either by car or by foot as soldiers went through the street escorting people out. Beeps and complaining people were the only sounds heard in the busy city. The Golden Gate Bridge was littered with cars trying to move out. Suddenly all the noise was stopped by the sound of a massive roar calling out from the sky. Desghidorah came crashing down from the clouds still holding Godzilla. The two heads holding onto Godzilla began to glow as they unleashed lava gouts into Godzilla’s neck and arm. The monster king crashed into the Transamerica building sending it crumbling to the ground as Godzilla was pushed out the other side. People screamed and ran trying to escape from the dueling monsters in the city.

Desghidorah descended from the sky looking down at the giant who dared to challenge him. He unleashed a Tartarus flame upon on Godzilla and as he tried to pull himself out the rubble. The flames hit Godzilla in the back sending back him to the ground roaring from his now burning back. Desghidorah slammed down a few yards away from Godzilla. He charged forward taking Godzilla in his tackle sending both of them through rows of building. He stopped running and letting Godzilla drop to the ground before he was kicked away. The dragon stood on its hind legs before slamming his body back into the ground opening up the pyre road. The ground exploded as flames shout out from the ground melting the nearby buildings.

Godzilla was soon caught in the explosion he roared out as the ground around him burst into flames sending him into the air. Lava gouts shot into his chest sending him back to the ground Desghidorah slowly moved in toward Godzilla cackling. He kicked the monster king in the face sending him hurtling backwards into a massive skyscraper causing it to fall on top of him. Desghidorah lifted his heads roaring out in victory as the smoke settled on the limp form of Godzilla. Suddenly the Hawk came out from the sky firing its twin maser cannons directly in Desghidorah’s left and right heads.

Bone Crusher looked down at Godzilla from the Hawk’s window. The kaiju was struggling to stand as the building weighed him down and it was clear he was tired.

“You thinking what I’m thinking?” Kubo asked.

“Get this thing away from, Godzilla, and hope we last long enough for him to get up.” Bone Crusher responded.

Both of them cracked smiles then gave each other a fist bump before sending the Hawk back down. Desghidorah roared at the Hawk after growing annoyed of it constantly bothering him. Flames erupted out of the ground as Desghidorah charged forward crushing everything that got in his way. Bone Crusher was quick to act turning the Hawk around and quickly began flying toward the water while trying to dodge the lava gouts that Desghidorah shot out wildly. Kubo smiled knowing that the plan was working. Suddenly jets flew past the Hawk firing missiles that didn’t hurt Desghidorah, but only angered him. The massive dragon stopped as he soon began biting at the jets that flew past him. Other military units began firing at Desghidorah on all sides covering his entire body in smoke. The dragon rumbled with fury as he stared at those he dared to attack him.

“So much for that plan.” Bone Crusher said smacking his hand to his face as he turned the Hawk around.

Desghidorah burst out of the smoke covering his body blasting everything around him in all-out attack. Building, tanks, jets everything around the ancient kaiju were either melting or on fire. He turned his middle head spotting his next target as energy began coursing through his body as the pyre road began to charge. Kubo saw what Desghidorah was aiming for and his heart began to beat faster. The Golden Gate Bridge was the next biggest target in sight and it was still loaded with people. He quickly began pressing the fire key on the console trying to get the monster's attention.

“There are still people on the bridge.” Kubo shouted.

Bone Crusher was quick to close in toward Desghidorah blasting the dragon in the chest trying to get his attention.

“Come on, Godzilla, out of the all times to be sleeping right now is the worst.” Bone Crusher shouted.

Suddenly the water around San Francisco Bay began to bubble causing Desghidorah to stop charging and stare at it with curiosity. The young Mothra burst out of the water like a torpedo spitting out acid webbing that both burned and stuck to Desghidorah’s skin. As soon as the larva hit the ground she curled up into a ball and spun at high speed ramming Desghidorah in the chest. The dragon stumbled for a brief moment before Mothra sprayed him again.

“Not Godzilla, but I’ll take it.” Bone Crusher said with a surprised look.

Godzilla’s head was ringing and he could barely move his tail. The scars on his body were healing but energy was at an all-time low causing his wounds to heal slower. The sound of his young friend roaring in the distance caused him to open his eyes. A maser tank was pointed right at his face. The pilot inside cast a smile, “Hello payday.” He aimed it for Godzilla’s eye putting his hand on the trigger. Godzilla snarled hating this day more and more. The pilot was too focused on gaining money to notice Godzilla’s back spines lighting up readying his atomic breath. A small noise came into his head like a chime.

“Relax, let us handle it.”

A red car spun in front of the tank causing the pilot inside to call off the attack. Akiko jumped out of the car looking at the tank with annoyed look on her face. She jumped on to the side ripping the door away revealing the pilot inside.

“Lady what are you doing?!” the pilot shouted. Akiko didn’t answer but jumped inside closing the door behind her. All that was heard was the sound of loud thumping. Hikari stepped out of the car staring up at Godzilla who looked down at her. Moll jumped out of the car running past Hikari she jumped into air levitating up to Godzilla’s snout and stood on top patting it. She giggled like a child with a pet. Lora smacked her face at the sight of her sister.

“See I told you we could take care of it.” Moll said her voice playing in Godzilla’s head.

Godzilla recognized the noise he looked to his snout to see a small speck on it. He saw what looked to be a human outline when he checked for energy. His surprise was cut short when he heard a cry. Godzilla turned his head to see Mothra being thrown around in Desghidorah’s mouths. He tried to move but quickly fell back to the ground huffing from exhaustion. Godzilla snarled as he tried to move more but his body wouldn’t allow it. Moll hopped off of Godzilla’s nose and looked up to Hikari.

“Godzilla’s losing power we need to find a way to give him more energy.” Moll said.

Hikari looked at the tired Godzilla with concern and then at the battling kaiju in the distance. Hikari’s mind began to race not knowing what to do to help, until she looked at the maser. An idea began to form in her head. She quickly ran toward it in time to see Akiko throwing the unconscious pilot out of the tank. Hikari hoped over him and climbed on broad.

“Akiko do you know how to fire this thing?” Hikari asked.

“Do you know who you’re talking to?” Akiko said sarcastically.

“Good to know fire it at Godzilla’s spikes.”

Akiko looked at Hikari wide eyed, “Do you want him to kill us?”

“He won’t kill us…I think,” Hikari looked over to Godzilla, “But if we manage to fire enough of a concentrated blast at full power he may be able to absorb the radiation from the maser ring.”

“Ok sounds like a good plan but what happens if he gets mad and you know blast us to ash.” Akikio retorted.

“Were just going to have to trust him.” Hikari said with a hard face.

Akiko sighed before laughing, “You know I always thought I was the crazy one.”

They both jumped into the maser tank turning it on. Akiko brought Godzilla up on the aiming screen locking on to his back spines. She quickly began revving up the power supply to one hundred percent. Moll and Lara watched as the maser ring began to lift up pointing at Godzilla’s spines. The monster king snarled at the moving tank in front of him not knowing if he was in danger. Moll noticed him tensing up and let her body course with energy before she began to hum out a soothing song. Lora saw Moll casting aside her worry began to copy her sister allowing own energy to follow out humming the same tune.

Godzilla stopped snarling his anger stopped rising as his body began to relax. Desghidorah’s roars were shut out replaced with the song of the Elias. The maser fired out hitting Godzilla who absorbed it like a sponge. His spines began to glow brighter with each passing second wounds were now mending faster than normal. As the sun fell Godzilla rose letting out an earthshaking roar. Moll jumped in the air cheering for joy while Lora had a small smile on her face. Akiko and Hikari stepped out of the tanking watching Godzilla march into battle.

“Give him one for me big guy!” Akiko shouted waving at Godzilla.

“Akiko I’ve got an idea.” Hikari said.

“Mind filling me in newbie.”

“I’ll tell you on the way. Were also going to need to call Bone Crusher and Kubo.”

The sound of moaning drew their attention down to the soldier Akiko threw out of the maser. He looked up in shock to see Godzilla walking off pulling out his radio. Akiko smiled and jumped on top of him repeatedly punching him in the skull.

“Lady what’s your problem.” The soldier screamed before passing out again. Akiko pulled the radio out of his hand and tossed it to Hikari before running to the car. Hikari watched Godzilla let another massive roar before charging into battle with Mothra and the Hawk.

“Good Luck.” Hikari whispered before running back to Akiko.
