Anti-Godzilla Attack Force: 24 Hours later

An alarm ran through the entire building as red lights went off blaring alarms were the only sound as the staff began scrambling around. The technical squad began typing away on their computers pulling global positioning systems. Military units began running out into runways fueling large jets, driving in massive tanks, checking ammo stocks preparing for battle. General Hughes looked out over his base through the window tapping his fingers against the glass. His door began to knock as someone began to pound on it hard. Hughes rubbed his hands through his graying hair as he turned around the noise getting to him already, "The doors unlocked!" he shouted.

A woman with red hair in a bun wearing a mini skirt stepped in holding a massive number of files and books in her hands. She set them down on Hughes's desk adjusting her glasses along with adjusting her lab coat. "Mind telling me what's going on General?" she asked.

"That's your job Miki,” Hughes said looking over a file with a confused face, "What is this thing?"

Miki took the file out his and looked over it finally turning it back to Hughes with an annoyed smile. She pointed down showing a massive swirling vortex over a small island, "That would be the storm that hit Infant Island yesterday. According to every meteorologist in my department this storm was not natural."

Hughes raised his eyebrow looking closely at the photo trying to figure out what Miki was saying, "So what are you trying to say? Something made this?"

“Exactly the remember report we got about the report ship sinking in the Philippines by a kaiju remember.” Miki began flipping the files open revealing pictures of different kaiju from years past. Hughes picked up a picture of the first Godzilla staring at it like sizing up an opponent.

"I've been fighting these things for years I've never seen one who can create a storm at will."

"And I've never heard of a lizard being able to fire a nuclear bomb from its mouth but that exist. So why can't there be something that can control the weather?" Miki began flipping through more papers until one in particular got her attention she gave it over to Hughes, “Speaking of giant lizards you may want to see this."

Hughes looked over the paper reading the only words scribbled on to it 'High level radiation'. Hughes knew what those words meant as he began to look over to Miki.

"Godzilla?" Hughes asked Miki shook her head yes, "How many know about it?"

"Only you and me luckily I was the one checking the computers." Miki said with a confident smile while looking over Hughes's shoulder. "So you going tell me what your master plan is General?" Miki brought her face close to Hughes smiling into his unamused face.

A knock on the door quickly got both Hughes and Miki's attention. A soldier walked in holding up a salute, "General Hughes we have just received..." He cut himself off when he saw the position Miki and Hughes were in, "E-Excuse me I didn't mean to intrude."

"What?!" Hughes shouted at the nervous soldier as he moved Miki off him.

"Ah yes sir! A message from the reconnaissance team on Infant Island." The soldier said after recomposing himself and giving a salute.

Hughes waved his hand motioning for the soldier to leave. Hughes ran his hand through his graying hair breathing out a sigh before pulling out of the office with Miki following him grabbing the files she left. "So the Split Mountains start acting up now we have a call from the kids. Today is starting out to be fantastic!" Miki shouted out throwing her hands in the air laughing as followed Hughes.

"This isn't the time for joking Miki. You're the head of the science division start acting like it." Hughes said as he went into the control room.

"Come on where's your sense of humor." Miki said trying to jump on Hughes's shoulders like she was going to get a piggy back ride. Hughes was wise to lean and sidestepped allowing Miki to fall forward. Before she fell face first into the ground Hughes held Miki by the collar of her shirt. She smiled looking up at him, "My hero."

Hughes rolled his eyes before letting go of her. Hughes opened the door to the control room but pointed to a soldier walking down the hall, "You! Take my head of science back to her office and make sure she doesn't leave."

The soldier saluted but before he could help Miki back to her office she was already running down the hall, "Tell Hikari I said hi ok love." She said turning a coroner. Hughes snarled as he was about to turn but the sound of snickering got his attention. The soldier he called over kept his hand over his mouth stifling a laugh.

Hughes glared at him before shouting, "Didn't I give you a command soldier?"

"Yes sir!" The soldier shouted scared out of his mind as he ran down the hall after Miki.

Hughes opened the door to the control room everyone inside was quick to call to attention. He held up his hand motioning for everyone to come at ease. "What's going on with the Spilt Mountain case?" Hughes asked in a commanding tone.

"Reports say that movement has stopped and no further kaiju activity so far." One soldier said standing.

"Keep crews running through day and night, I want any and all civilians cleared for the next 30 miles. Tell tanks to keep their heads pointed at the mountains even if a pebble falls I want artillery to open fire. Now what's this about the recon team?"

"We have Captain Akiko on the line she wanted to talk to you directly sir."

"Put her on now!" Hughes commanded.

There was some small screeching going on through the room until finally Akiko's voice came through on the radio. "This is Captain Akiko of the Infant Island reconnaissance team who I am addressing?" Akiko said

"Head of the Anti-Godzilla Attack Force Japan branch General Hughes. You better have something good to tell me Captain because today is really not a good day." Hughes said.

"General I've just discovered two new species of kaiju. One has already been killed in battle but the other may be awakening soon." Akiko said in a rushed tone.

"This other kaiju where is it located?" Hughes asked narrowing his eyes.

"In the Split Mountains of California sir." Akiko said to her commanding officer.

"Then you're report is late Captain the kaiju is already awake and is trying to tear its way out of the mountains." Hughes said angrily.

"I figured as much. Is it still moving?" Akiko asked.

"No and it won't be for long the American AGAF is preparing a full scale attack on it."

"Sir I must advise against this action. From what I've been told this Desghidorah is one of the strongest kaiju alive. Attacking it with conventional weapons won't do a thing to it." Akikio said in a serious tone.

"Then how do you suppose we beat this thing Captain?!" Hughes asked his anger beginning to rise.

"I have two very large and very unconventional weapons following me at the moment." Akiko said with clear hints of a joking nature behind her voice.

"Captain what are you talking about?" Hughes asked confusion killing his anger.

"Just tell your men to focus on the right kaiju. My team and I will be there soon. Akiko out." The radio went dead before Hughes could ask any more questions. He stormed out of the control room and back towards his office grumbling. Hughes stopped at his door as he grabbed for the handle, "Miki how much did you hear?"

Miki suddenly appeared behind him draped herself around his shoulders, "Enough to know what's going on and to punish you for not saying hi to my favorite assistant."

"I figured you want to do it yourself we're going to California." Hughes said as walked he into his office, "Pack what you need, we leave out in five minutes."

"Just enough time to pack my bikini I do here the beaches are lovely this time of the year." Miki said as she finally letting go of Hughes.

"This isn't a sightseeing trip." Hughes was cut off by Miki waving her finger to his face as she went into thought.

"Now there was something I had to remember but was it?" Miki rubbed her chin for a moment before snapping her fingers, "Oh yeah you may need a new training regimen for your so called elite soldiers it only took me three seconds to knock that guy out."

Hughes rubbed his head sighing, "Just get packed already."

Pacific Ocean

Godzilla cut through the water as he swam faster than anything under the ocean he saw the energy before him. It took shape as a three-headed creature seeing it before him it made Godzilla swim faster. Suddenly pain shot through his lower body Godzilla let out a roar of shock and pain as he quickly turned to see what caused it. His eyes widened in shock as what was causing it, the baby Mothra was chewing on his tail. Godzilla snarled at the youngling to make it leave him alone the larva chirped at him then began to pull on his tail. Godzilla barely moved as the larva began to try and tow him along he blew energy out of his nose in the form of blue smoke. The young Mothra let go his tail waved her head around to clear her vision when the smoke cleared she saw Godzilla was swimming away. She chirped out to him and began to chase him until red energy came to view the young Mothra saw it and began to swim backward in fear.

The aura was so deadly she could practically feel it wrapping around her body and crushing her. Whatever the aura was it was stronger than her and the creature that attacked the island before. She wanted to leave and hide. Until Godzilla's bellowing call echoed throughout the ocean. She looked back to the massive lizard amazed by his bravery as he swam forward with a burst of speed. As he got further Mothra felt a twinge of respect for him. She called out and swam behind him in an attempt to catch up. She shot out a string of web from her mouth to stick onto his tail and slowly began to reel herself in. Mothra bit down on Godzilla's tail causing him to growl in annoyed fury but chose to ignore the little one chewing on his tail. He saw his true enemy before him taking shape Godzilla hissed before beating his tail and Mothra down to speed himself through the water.

The Hawk

The Hawk glided high above the clouds moving faster than any plane in the sky. Akiko flipped through the CDs that Bone Crusher had humming to herself while looking for a song to play. Bone Crusher looked shuttered at the choices she was making, "Why do I keep those on here?" Bone Crusher asked himself.

"Because you have terrible taste in music." Akiko answered still fumbling through the stack, "And if you ever get brave enough to move my stash your precious little bird is going to be turned into a toaster."

"Hey um Akiko do you think the General is going to listen to you?" Hikari asked from behind them.

"Probably not knowing those trigger happy idiots the minute Desghidorah shows his ugly head their going to open fire on him." Akiko said.

"Heads."A voice called out.

"Wait what?" Akiko turned in her seat to see Moll and Lara in Hikari's lap. Moll, still tired from calling Godzilla, slept silently while Lora looked like she didn't care what was going on.

"Desghidorah has three heads and each can shoot out molten fire." Lora said as she cast a glance to a sleeping Kubo.

"Well that's a confidence builder." Bone Crusher said sarcastically.

"We'll deal with that problem when we get there. Found it!" Akiko shouted excitedly holding up a CD then placing it inside the player. The pop song came out loudly with Akiko singing along with each word. Bone Crusher cringed at the song playing grumbling to himself.

Lora looked back at Bone Crusher and Akiko scoffing at them before turning back to Kubo. She thought back to how she was ready to fight him back at the temple, then to how he had smiled while looking at the two Mothras playing together. Now he was sleeping without a care in the world while his two friends acted like children. Her focus came back when she heard Moll let out a small yawn before turning in her sleep. Lora looked to Moll with caring eyes before Akiko's singing caught her attention again causing her to grind her teeth in annoyance. She looked up at Hikari who was trying to hide her fear from the rest. Lora's eyes flashed green before she began her telepathy.

"At least one of you are normal." Lora's voice went through Hikari's head. Hikari looked down in surprise at Lara who held her finger to her mouth, "Just think what you want to say."

"Sorry not used to hearing someone else in my head." Hikari thought.

"How can the others act like this? Do they not know what's going on?" Lora said still annoyed. Hikari looked at the Bone Crusher and Akiko who were getting into an argument about whose music is better. Then to Kubo who was still sleeping through everything and who Lora was still looking at. "Kubo tells me that everyone in the military unit likes to relax in their way to a mission. I guess this must be their way of doing it." Hikari said.

"And what about you?" Lora asked.

"What are talking about?"

"How do you relax?"

"Oh! I'm not in the military unit," Hikari's eyes wandered off, "I just came along because I wanted to see Mothra. I wasn't excepting all this to happen. I hope the others don't think I'm a burden."

"You seemed brave in the cave, you'll do well enough." Lora said in an uncaring caring voice until she pointed towards Kubo, "Why was that one acting strange in the cave."

"Who Kubo? He acts that way all the time." Hikari said.

"No! When he saw the little one he was ready to kill her then when she starts playing with her mother this Kubo starts smiling like nothing happened." Lora said this time casting her gaze to Hikari, "What kind of warrior smiles at his enemy?"

"Kubo has always been like that since the day my Dad took him," Hikari said Lora turned her head, "I don't know the details but Kubo was attacked by a kaiju that was called Destoroyah. He was able to escape the city but his parents weren't so lucky. My Dad found him a few days later and decided to adopt him. Ever since then Kubo's been like a guard for my family in a way for thanking my father," Hikari stopped for a moment Lora saw a small tear falling off her face, "Then when my parents died a few years ago we came out to Japan and we joined the Attack Force. Me in the science department and Kubo joined the military unit to become my body guard and to make sure no one would end up like him."

"Like him?" Lora asked confused.

"Alone and without a family." Hikari answered.

Lora looked down at Moll who was still sleeping peacefully she rubbed her the way a mother would. Suddenly a loud chirp drew everyone's attention as Mothra flew over the Hawk causing massive turbulence. Kubo woke with a snort along with Moll. "What's going on?" Kubo asked with a yawn.

"Don't know but something's got Mothra in a bad mood she's increasing speed." Bone Crusher said.

"Hey fairy any idea what your friend is doing?" Akiko asked.

Lora closed her eyes breathing steadily soon red a flash began take shape in the dark, "It's Desghidorah he's beginning to rise."

"Well this is going to be fun." Kubo said cocking his pulse rifle.

"Boney let's get the lead out. I've got a really bad feeling about this." Akiko said staring out grimly into the sky.

Spilt Mountains

..........

The Anti-Godzilla Attack Force tanks rolled through the mountain range. The soldiers began checking their guns as helicopters and jets flew over a massive hole that used to be a mountain. The evacuation was going as planned with few campers left in the area. Two soldiers began talking next to a tank beginning to grow relaxed due to nothing happening. "So you really think this thing is going to come out." The first soldier said.

"Even if it does we got enough fire power to blow this thing to the Stone Age." The other soldier said.

The two started laughing until the mountain began to shake. Suddenly the radio began to go off, "This is Echo 1 to base to come in," the pilot sounded frantic, "Movement detected inside the mountain, I repeat movement detected inside the mountain." The radio suddenly went dead and the sound of explosion echoed out. The soldiers looked up to one of the helicopters in the sky on fire and falling to the ground. No one saw it hit the ground when what was left of the mountain exploded rocks littered the ground as the nearby soldiers ducked out of the way from the large boulders that came hurtling towards them. A large body began to haul itself out of the earth rocks tumbling off of it's black back. Three heads with crimson eyes looking at all who stood in front of him. Desghidorah came out of the rubble roaring all three of his heads waving about molten saliva melted the rocks. Jets began firing at the massive black dragon the bullets bouncing off his rock like skin. Desghidorah began climbing down to the ground bellow.

His left head looked at a jet flying past it licked its lips and let out an orange lava gout blast instantly blowing it to pieces. Soldiers began running away trying to help the remaining campers still in the area. The sound of tank fire canceled out the screams in the air along with machine gun fire. "Maser tank units fall in now!" A soldier screamed into a radio soon massive tanks with giant rings connected to them rolled up to the mountain. "Open fire!" the soldier shouted pointing at Desghidorah. The maser tanks began to glow until blue energy erupted from their rings blasting Desghidorah in the chest causing all three of his heads turned and looked at the army bellow him. The middle head had flames coming out of it until finally his attack, Tartarus flame, came out. The trees were instantly vaporized to ash as the maser tanks soon began to melt in the flames. The other two heads began firing lava gouts at the remaining helicopters and jets still flying around him.

Desghidorah reared up on his hind legs as red energy cackled through his front legs. Finally he came down at full force using his final attack, the pyre road, the ground exploded sending civilians and soldiers into the air. Lava began flying into the air as heat left Desghidorah's body.

Diner Five Miles Away

.......

People walked in out of Lou's diner as the cash register went off for another customer. A man reading the newspaper in the corner soon saw that his coffee was moving. He looked up to see the red flashes and the darkening sky. But what finally got his attention was the ground breaking apart slowly coming closer to the diner. "Look at that, Look at that!" the man shouted as he began to back away from the window. Soon other people saw what was happening outside before they could start running the ground collapsed. Lou's diner began to break apart collapsing as the earth shook violently. People slowly moved rubble away from them as the survivors looked at the darkening sky ahead.

General Hughes's Helicopter, Over the Pacific Ocean

Hughes sat in the copilot seat of the helicopter with arms crossed as he looked out in to the sky. Miki hummed as she flew the helicopter like a crazy person shaking the controls causing the helicopter to do the same. "How much longer until we get there." Hughes said tapping his arm angrily.

"We'll be landing in in San Francisco in about two hours." Miki said waving her hand in a fake salute.

"Can we go any faster?" Hughes asked with impatience

"I'm sorry captain I'm giving it all she's got but the warp drive can't take anymore!" Miki said in a fake Irish accent.

Suddenly the radio on began to go off. "This is General Hughes report." Hughes roared into the radio.

"General we've just received word from the American AGAF unit." The soldier on the radio said.

"Well what is it?" Hughes asked.

"Sir the new kaiju was able to wipe out the forces stationed in that area and currently is moving toward the San Francisco area." The solider reported grimly.

Hughes sighed heavily rubbing his head not liking the news Miki looked at him trying to hold his hand. Hughes let her do it this time. He gripped the radio ear piece hard almost roaring into it, "Evacuate the city immediately. Send all National Guard troops to intercept the kaiju slow it down. Organize the rest of the American units to meet in San Francisco that's where we'll kill it."

"But sir what about collateral damage?" the soldier asked.

"I'll personally pay for any damages to the city. Now get to work!" Hughes shouted.

The radio quickly fell silent and Hughes fell back in his seat. Miki looked at him with an honest smile but Hughes brushed it off. "You can be a real sweat heart when you want to be." Miki said with a smile.

"Keep your eyes on the sky." Hughes said looking forward.

"Oh come on Hughes." Miki said.

"No seriously Miki keep your eyes on the sky!"

"Can't you just take a compliment?"

"Can you keep your eyes on the sky before we hit that flock of birds?!" Hughes shouted pointing forward.

"What flock of-Oh my God!" Miki screamed when she avoided the massive flock of birds that was flying towards them.

"Who gave you a license?" Hughes asked

"It looked like those birds were running away from something." Miki said.

"There is a four hundred foot tall monster rampaging were they were coming from could be that." Hughes said with sarcasm.

"Hughes reports say that birds acted this way during the 'Ruler's War'." Miki said.

"Well this might be a fun trip after all." Hughes said.

Spilt Mountains

The Hawk flew over what used to be the Spilt Mountains. Now the national park was reduced to a barren waste land after Desghidorah destroyed it. Mothra flew over the clouds looking around for signs of life. Everyone inside the Hawk had shocked expressions on their faces. Akiko switched on the radio calling out for anyone on the ground finally she gave up. "What kind of kaiju are we dealing with?" Akiko said looking down at the ground which was spilt in two and charred.

Moll and Lora looked down at the earth below both got flash backs to millions of years ago. The screams of innocent people and the roars of Desghidorah echoing through their minds. Lora started breathing heavily grabbing her arms she began to shake as sweat came down her face. Moll held onto her sister whispering to her, "Lora try to calm down."

"It's happening again Moll another extinction." Lora said still shaking.

Kubo over heard the conversation not liking what he was hearing.

"What are two talking about?" Kubo asked.

"Millions of years ago there was a civilization before the one today," Moll said, "They were much more advanced as well and could perform different types of mystic energy like Lora and I."

"One day Desghidorah appeared from the sky and began attacking everything in sight nothing was sparred. Animals, plants...even the people," Lora said still looking out the window, "when they tried fighting back they created a weapon that soon turned against them."

"How does a weapon turn against its owner?" Bone Crusher called out from behind the wheel.

"When it's given a mind of its own." Lora said, "They called it Dagahra."

Hikari's eyes widen at the name, "You mean the kaiju that fought Godzilla and Mothra on Infant Island?"

"The same one. Dagahra was created to destroy Desghidorah but when the two met instead of fighting Desghidorah was able corrupt Dagahra's mind. Both of them began to destroy the Earth from the land and the sea." Moll said.

"Soon the Earth was almost completely destroyed until finally the Earth created Mothra." Lora said.

"How did the Earth create a kaiju?" Hikari asked.

"The Earth is as alive as you and I Miss Hikari," Moll began, "In order to protect itself the Earth created a Guardian."

"So Mothra fought them both off and managed to beat them. But what happened to this civilization?" Kubo said scratching his head.

"You're talking to them." Lora said a small tear forming in her eye.

"Mothra may have been able to save the Earth but she was unable to save our people from extinction." Moll said, "In order to stop Desghidorah from rising again we went into hibernation with Mothra until she was summoned again to protect the Earth."

"Like when Godzilla attacked?" Kubo asked.

"Yes and soon after an asteroid was field coming toward the Earth." Lora said.

"So that's why she was gone for so long. But if Mothra was gone for all that time and she just now returned does she even have enough power to fight Desghidorah?" Hikari asked. The others looked at the Elias wondering the same thing. Before either could answer a loud roar caught everyone onboard the Hawk's attention followed by a massive explosion. Mothra flew forward letting out her own roar.

"Hey who sent out for the National Guard?" Bone Crusher asked looking ahead seeing the fight going on ahead. Desghidorah moved through the line of tanks like they were nothing. Shooting out lava gouts at anything that wasn't burning.

"So that's Desghidorah huh? He doesn't look so tuff." Bone Crusher said confidently cracking his knuckles.

"Glad to know you're ready to go Boney. What about you two?" Akikio asked looking at Kubo and Hikari.

"I'll handle the shooting as long as Bone Crusher keeps this thing in the air." Kubo said pulling down a computer from the ceiling. Kubo looked over to Hikari with a serious look, "Hikari I want you to go in the back."

"But Kubo!" Hikari shouted.

"Listen to him newbie it'll be safer in case we crash." Akiko said in her serious tone.

Hikari didn't object as she stomped off into the back room mumbling something the others didn't here. Moll whispered in Lora's ear and the two of them followed after Hikari. "Well that was awkward." Bone Crusher said sealing the door behind them.

"I'd rather have her mad at me than being in here." Kubo said.

"By the way what's this on me crashing the plane? I never crash this thing." Bone Crusher said offended.

"Didn't we crash on Infant Island when we fought that Dagahra thing?" Akiko asked.

Bone Crusher opened his mouth to say something but soon found that he couldn't think of anything. He grumbled and leaned forward in his seat, "This conversation isn't over."

"It pretty much died when you couldn't respond." Akiko said bluntly while flipping on the weapons system.

"Got to agree the captain good buddy." Kubo said while putting Desghidorah in the targeting system.

Bone Crusher opened fired on Desghidorah drawing his attention. Before Desghidorah could roar Mothra exploded from the clouds firing her antenna beams blasting him in the chest. Tartarus flames came out of his middle head Mothra avoided it as lightning bounced off of her wing tips burning his rock like skin. The two heads began firing out lava gouts but were soon reflected back as Mothra began using her scales. Akiko saw how the scales attack worked, "Little private try aiming for those golden things that Mothra's putting out."

Kubo didn't verbally respond as he began to take aim. Kubo fired out the maser cannon which was soon reflected back to Desghidorah causing him to roar out in pain. Mothra's entire body began to glow as she quickly flew forward striking the dragon with a flash dash shocking his entire body. She clawed at his body with all six legs but the dragon wrestled her away. Missiles flew out of the Hawk striking Desghidorah as Mothra fired from her antenna beams. All three of his heads began to snarl in primal fury at what was going on. Desghidorah stood up on his hind legs energy surging through his body to his back legs. The soldiers on the ground saw what was happening and quickly began falling back.

"Um I don't like how this thing is standing up right now." Bone Crusher said wide eyed.

Desghidorah came down full force releasing the pyre road. The ground exploded in a massive fire ball that caught both Mothra and the Hawk. Bone Crusher grunted as he kept the Hawk from spiraling. While Mothra hit the ground hit the still burning ground she screeched out in pain as her skin began to burn. Desghidorah kicked Mothra backwards digging a trench with her body. Mothra shook her to head to clear the dizziness she began to flap her wings but was soon brought back down by a Tartarus flame to the back. Mothra fell back to the ground as Desghidorah roared out swinging down his middle head and clamping down on one her antenna. Mothra screamed out as Desghidorah shook her like a rag doll. He slammed the moth down repeatedly while the left and right head cackled in glee.

His back began to crack and as two red wings ripped out. Desghidorah beat his wings down taking his massive form into the air. The middle head spit Mothra out in a tail spin while the other two formed lava gouts. Mothra saw she was falling strait toward a group of humans she tried beating her wings to slow down. A smile came across the middle head of Desghidorah until finally the left and right fired. Mothra screeched out as the fireballs pierced through her wings causing her to fall out of the sky and crash land to the ground on top of the small army bellow. Desghidorah roared out as he watched Mothra stop moving and the glow in her blue eyes begin to fade.

Moll and Lora felt it as they grabbed their hearts gasping. Hikari watched as they fell to their knees, "What's going on?" Hikari asked.

"Somethings wrong I can't feel Mothra anymore." Moll said.

"You two don't think that she's-" Hikari couldn't bring herself to say the word.

"Nonsense Mothra wouldn't fall that easily!" Lora shouted angrily.

Hikari looked around the back room they were hidden in for a window. Finally she saw a light pouring out of a port. Hikari unstrapped herself from the seat she was in and began fumbling with the buttons trying to get the port side window open. The metal plating beside the window began to rise showing the smoking outside world. Hikari put her hand over her mouth when she saw Mothra on the ground smoking with holes in her wings. Moll and Lara climbed on top of Hikari's shoulder and looked at Mothra. Moll began to cry into Lora's arms while Lora shook her head yelling. To add to their horror Desghidorah came crashing back down on top of Mothra. She screamed trying to move as Desghidorah added pressure to her skull with his front leg. Mothra's struggles soon started to die down as the dragon kept applying pressure. The glow in her eyes faded completely. Desghidorah roared as he stepped out of the impact carter smoking venting out of his noses. He looked at his fallen enemy with sick glee flames building in the middle head before releasing one last Tartarus flame attack.

In the open water, the young Mothra held onto Godzilla as he kept moving at top speed. She could feel that they were getting closer. But something felt off as she felt a spark go through her body. The young Mothra let go of Godzilla's tail and quickly made her way to the surface. Godzilla watched the young one break the surface. He was about to keep going on without her until he felt something was wrong. The weak energy the adult Mothra gave off was gone but the red energy he was tracking was growing even stronger. Godzilla breached the surface towering over the smaller kaiju behind him. Godzilla looked down at the smaller Mothra who gave off a similar source of energy like her mother. He knew what had happened and so did the young one. Mothra began crying out into the sky like she was calling out to someone but received no answer. Godzilla snorted to get the crying Mothra's attention.

The two kaiju looked at each other exchanging looks. Godzilla pointed his head out inland the youngling following his point of view. He then looked back down at her Mothra's once blue eyes became red with rage as she roared out. Godzilla let out his roar easily out matching hers they both looked out into the distant sky. Both saw the red energy growing and they wanted to fight it. Mothra soon chomped down Godzilla's tail causing his eyes to widen from the pain of the bite he snarled at Mothra growing annoyed at the habit the little kaiju was developing. He soon dove under the water moving at incredible speed that betrayed his size with Mothra behind him.

Desghidorah looked on and saw two large energy sources coming towards him. The middle head cracked the kaiju form of an evil smile he began to beat down his wings. Slowly rising off the charred remains of what used to be Mothra.

"Where's he running off to?" Bone Crusher asked.

"Don't know don't care we have to stop this thing before it gets to a city." Kubo said.

"What about Mothra?" Hikari called out from behind as she came back into the cockpit finishing putting her normal clothes back on in the processes. Kubo turned his head looking at her with an annoyed look. Then he saw the Elias whose eyes were red from crying and began to mellow out.

"Stopping Desghidorah comes first we can worry about that later," Akiko said looking sternly at Hikari, "Boney follow him."

Bone Crusher shook his beginning to shift the wheel into motion. But Hikari began to shake with sadness looking to Kubo for help but he turned away not wanting argue with Akiko.

"But we can't just leave her like this." Hikari said pleading with Akiko.

"Would you rather have a funeral service or watch Desghidorah destroy an entire city like he did this place!" Akiko shouted as she stood out of her seat causing Hikari to step back out of fear.

"Hikari.... she's right we have to stop Desghidorah." Lora said with a sniffle while Moll started to cry into her shoulder, "It's what Mothra would have wanted."

"But this isn't right we should at least...." Hikari was cut off before hysteria took over when she felt the air leave her body and the world around her go dark. Akikio removed her fist from Hikari's lungs as the young scientist fell into her arms. Akikio was quick to catch the Elias who almost fell of Hikari's shoulder.

"Sorry newbie but you need to take a little nap. Little private take place my place will you and get word to the National Guard that we're following Desghidorah. We girls are going to have a little chit chat." Akiko said in cheerful voice as she hoisted Hikari over her shoulder. Kubo got out of his seat as Akiko began to walk down the hall. But before she get far Kubo put a firm grip on her shoulder. Akiko turned her head over her shoulder meeting Kubo's gaze.

"Captain," Kubo's grip tightened on Akiko's shoulder as he glared at her, "Never lay hand on Hikari again or we are going to have a problem."

"They really know how to pick body guards don't they." Akiko said with an impressed smile. She walked off carrying Hikari and the Elias with her. Kubo sat down next to Bone Crusher who had his mouth hanging open looking at Kubo. Kubo cocked an eyebrow looking at him.

"What?" Kubo asked.

"You just threatened Akiko. No one threatens Akiko. Not even high ranking officials. That girl is insane." Bone Crusher said shocked.

"Well she shouldn't have hit Hikari like that."

"Well since your feeling brave wanna throw out her CDs?"

Kubo looked at Bone Crusher with a scared face, "Are you kidding me? She'd kill me then use my dead body to kill you with. Why don't you just do it you're her Lieutenant?"

"Because I'd rather fight Godzilla with both hands tied behind my back." Bone Crusher responded.

Suddenly the radio began going off. Bone Crusher and Kubo looked to each other almost scared to pick it up. "You don't think she heard do you?" Bone Crusher said in a scarred whisper.

"Come on Akiko's not Superman." Kubo said nervously as he picked up the radio with a shake, "Private Kubo reporting in."

"Private this is General Hughes. Where is Captain Akiko?" Hughes said over the radio.

Bone Crusher and Kubo both sat up straight upon hearing the General's voice.

"She's currently in the middle of a task sir. I'm her Lieutenant Bone Crusher currently in charge at the moment." Bone Crusher said taking the radio from Kubo.

"Well then Lieutenant can you please explain to why the National Guard units I stationed out there said that your group led Mothra into a lit combat zone? And apparently aided it in combat?!" Hughes said in anger.

"That's a funny story sir which we'll explain after tracking Desghidorah and give you the coordinates." Bone Crusher said nervously.

"No need for tracking it's a direct course to San Francisco. Fly over it and report to me at the airport and give me a full detail report of your experience at Infant Island and plan for an attack. Am I understood?" Hughes asked.

"Sir yes sir!" Bone Crusher and Kubo said at the same time.

"Oh and you better hope I like your story Lieutenant or else fighting a kaiju will be the highlight of your day." Hughes said before the radio went dead.

Bone Crusher kept the ship steady before finally activating the speed booster. The Hawk zoomed past Desghidorah, who was too concentrated on tracking energy to notice. Bone Crusher looked to Kubo as he watched Desghidorah grow smaller in the distance.

"Out of everywhere this thing can go why San Francisco?" Kubo wondered out loud.

"Sightseeing?" Bone Crusher said.

"Moll said she didn't have much control of Godzilla you don't think he's going to the city do you?" Kubo asked.

Bone Crusher laughed shaking his head, "Oh the General is gonna kill us."

Kubo held his fist out to Bone Crusher who connected it with his own fist. The two shared a confident smile.

"Been an honor serving with you Bone Crusher." Kubo said.
