"Tempest Tale" Game · 2:28am Oct 20th, 2016
Tempest Tale has a home on Itch.io now. Version 0.75 is starting to resemble an actual game, with 16 quests and a new timing-based challenge system that replaces dice rolls on the main "solve a problem" action. Available in downloadable form for PC (most reliable if played maximized at 16:9); I can build for Linux too but the Web and Mac platforms are problematic.
Expected further development: a longer story, more items, a few conversation topics for NPCs. I'd been planning to implement random quests but am not sure of a good way to do it, since it seems like they'd either consist of generic challenges that distract me from writing the main plot, or generic individual skill checks that don't have interesting descriptions.
I sorry for being total newb on this but how do I download the game? It just says that it will "start momentarily". Is there a way around it?
got it now, thanks
Thank you.

Maybe you caught it at a moment when I still had a Web version up?
First "Game Over" ever had was while trying to bake a cake. Think my spirit hit zero. I need to pay more attention.
