    Finally

The long awaited chapter 04 is finally posted. I think I'm even mostly happy with all the parts of it.

Once every two months is kinda similar to twice a month, isn't it?

Well, it looks like I'm going to be letting people down. I'm going to need a little more time to even finish chapter 04, much less 05 which should have dropped this month according to my very optimistic "Two a month" schedule.

Some of you might be wondering what happened, so I'll outline what's gone wrong with that.

    Delays

03 is going to take another week, but should be arriving next weekend for sure. It took a lot more rewriting than I'd counted on, and I'm going to need the extra week to make sure I can go over it fully.

    Work continues on.

I should be on schedule to drop chapter 03 next weekend, having finished most of the fundamental rewrites from my previous draft. I've also further edited the flashback scene in the prologue, going into a bit more detail on what was happening in the Fall and smoothing things out a bit. It's quickly nearing the point where I'll actually be happy with it.

    I am not too proud

I've seen other people catch flack for doing this before, so I'm going to make my policy clear. I'm publishing digitally, which means that I have the power to go back and change things in a chapter after I publish it. When I realize, either from someone pointing it out or on my own, that something I've written could be done better, I will rework it.

I am not too proud · 10:26pm Sep 16th, 2012

I've seen other people catch flack for doing this before, so I'm going to make my policy clear. I'm publishing digitally, which means that I have the power to go back and change things in a chapter after I publish it. When I realize, either from someone pointing it out or on my own, that something I've written could be done better, I will rework it.

If those changes are significant, I'll do my best to keep people up to date if any of the facts have changed..

To that end, on the advise of OneLonelyPony, who has generously volunteered to help me out, I've reworked Chapter 00 a little. The flashback to the beginning of The Fall now comes first. While this changes the tone and flow of the prologue a lot, it doesn't really affect much else. If you're still with me after reading the old prologue, rereading it isn't really necessary to keep up.

If anyone else has any further suggestions to improve the story, I am also not too proud to accept their help.
