Six years, Six long years since I sat down and said "My little pony is for girls, lets riff it" and then found myself loving a world full of adventure, fun, and warmth.

Six years wiht a fandom with drama, stories, and insantiy.

Six years since I found a fandom to call my own.

I wouldn't trade this, any of it, for all of the world.

I love this show, through the good and the bad. I think it was Pen stroke who said it best "I love this show for all of it's ups and downs" and for me, there are a lot more ups than down. Oh sure, I know there is a day that the show might not be good, that I will find each episode a chore to sit through and what have you.

But then, why should I care? I hate the later seasons of Real Ghostbusters, Super S, GT, andcertain variations of Star Trek. Yet, I will stand here and tell you why each one of those is awesome and you should watch it. So what if it goes bad, what, does that make the fanart and stories bad all o f a sudden? Or the old episodes bad? If that were true then I know I wouldn't be a Gargoyle fan right now.

I still love this show for its 3-dimensional relatable characters, sun adventures, heart, and world building.

Andwhat happens at the end of it all? Nothing for me really. Shoot I write fics for the first MMPR team and that hasn't been on since 97. I hhave plenty ideas for that and more for so many of the fandoms I am a part of.

And for this fandom? Well, what can I say, there are a lot more ups than downs here to. But it isn't just the acceptance, love, and caring that I love this fandom for. N o, its something bgger...it makes me smile. Wether through fanart, fic, music, this plac makes me smile.

You don't know how lucky you guys are. In the sailor moon fandom, I can find plenty of awesome fanart, But fanfics? If they aren't Fall of Equestria style mysgonist "They are women so let's sexually abuse them" piece of shit, then its accustation fics! Hell, I just read one recently that was so mmaddening that I ran screaming "Take me back fandome!"

Kim Possible? Well, the fics are aweome, but the art is usuall only really good if yur preference is seeing Kim showing off what her momma gave her. Heck, none of my fandom have any thig resembling the original music that this fandom has. So, all of this stuff that you guys bring out, just makes me smile and have a good time. In good times and bad.

EQD once asked where do I see the fandom in five years, and I will say here what I said there. If the show is still around, nothing will change. If not, then we willjust mainly shrink. EQD will srill report on pony, maybe even the fight generation if it is as wawesome as this one. This site will still be here, either because Knighty will fuse it with an all empomasing fanfic site or an all pony site. We will still be here talking, because we have become this commnity of writers now. We might do stories of the fifth generation or join 1-3 saying "ITwan't as good as in the old days" *wags cane* some of us are doing this now byu the way, stiking wiht only fandom related material becuse we love it more than the show. Fandoms don't die they shrink.

and as fo me...I will no leave, becaus eI smile too much, and I don't wnt to go. Too much to do and write.
