The truth about Starlight Glimmer's Special Talent. · 5:47pm Sep 27th, 2016
After seeing the latest Starlight Glimmer fic. It's now official. Her Special Talent is in Super Villainy.
From what we've seen so far from her:
1) She invented a type of magic that can remove Cutie Marks, and replace them with the power of Communism. That even effects Alicorns as easily as it does normal ponies.
2) Can fight an Alicorn hoof to hoof, either by her shields, or raw attack force.
Both of which automatically put her at arch-nemesis, and super villain levels.
Then 3) she ups and fixes Starswirl's Spell (much like another previous unicorn we know) to create a repeating time spell to destroy Equestria multiple times.
Now in the latest episode. 4 & 5) We see her testing out magic with Twilight. Where she creates Reverse Flash / Zoom's Speed Clones. Before casting Dominate on her friends to brain washing them to do her bidding.
So yeah. her special talent is in being a Super Villain. It's when and where she does her greatest magic, as well as shows off her stuff. Which makes sense since she got her Special Talent when finding a way to get revenge on all ponies with Cutie Marks, and doing super villainy.
You know what this means, right? Currently Starlight is wilting, flailing about trying to be a good guy and screwing it up. The CMC need to counsel her and remind her of her true purpose, maybe even help her build a death ray or two to help Starlight get the juices flowing.
... And the CMC's Special Talent is helping others with their Special Talent.
That actually needs to be an episode in the show. Or a good little short fic.
