¡I give up on police! · 2:54pm Sep 18th, 2016

I have worked on helping prostitutes for years. Although many police rape prostitutes (they extort free sex for not arresting, which is rape) and rob prostitutes (they extort money out of prostitutes for not arresting them, which is theft), but I always figured that these are bad apples. Indeed, I work with the former cop, Norma Jean Almodovar and a working police-officer —— ¡wild horses could not get me to divulge his name!

I am aware of the racist cops with hairtriggers, but I wrote that off as bad apples.

I change my stance:

The Fraternal Order of Police, in a deplorable move, endorses the misogynous racist sexist xenophobic bigot Donald Trump. ¡I give up on police!

I feel bad for my anonymous friend for having to work with a basket of deplorable misogynous racist sexist xenophobic bigot. Maybe, he can reform the police from the inside.

I have a must-read story about the persecution of prostitutes and clients in Washington-State in the guise of stopping human-trafficking, which the police have no evidence ever occurred:

The Truth about the Biggest U.S Sextrafficking Story of the Year

Yes, racists cops shoot dark-skinned people quite a bit. One should not spread oneself to thin, so it is not my primary focus. My primary focus is on the police-abuse of prostitutes:

Police routinely steal from prostitutes and rape them too. Although it is not common, sometimes, if a prostitutes gets fed up with the police raping her and stealing from her, and stands up for herself, the police murder her. You can educate yourself here:

My solution to the problems with prostitution is to decriminalize prostitution.

Yeah, prostitution should be regulated, and a lot of cops suck a big one. :(

¿Why regulate prostitution? Just decriminalize and regulate prostitution like a generic business.

4215916 I meant legalize and regulate it.

¿Why not just decriminalize prostitution and regulate it no more than a generic business?

4216010 I don't think we are suggesting different things.

If you give the prudes the ability to regulate prostitution, the prudes will require gold-plated toilets, thus making prostitution impossible.

If left to their own devices, prostitutes would for coops of 5 to 10, rent retail spaces with areas of 200 m^2 or 2,000 ft^2 (those are almost exactly the same) and start combination bordello/escourtservices. Each prostitute would be responsible for her share of the rent and utilities. They would each be co-owners of the business. That is what prostitutes want to do.

4216230 prostitutes are a very vulnerable class of people, you don't think they'll be abused and taken advantage of or vice versa by pimps, clients, each other, business people, etc.

I personally don't trust capitalism to regulate itself.

Decriminalization allows prostitutes to form coops and work as groups. They do not need pimps. If a customer becomes disorderly, other prostitutes and helpful clients jump to help the prostitute and beat the horseapples out of the unruly client. Since prostitution would be decriminalized, the prostitutes can call police.

For outcall, one would require the patron allow photos on a smartphone of himself, his vehicle, with licenseplatenumber, and ID. He would have to allow her to make safetycheck outgoing calls and receive such calls incoming on a regular basis. These calls would have codewords for safe or danger. If she becomes uncontactable or uses a dangerword, they go straight to the police immediately with the information they have. If all goes well, after the uneventful date and safereturn, they delete the photos.

Prostitutes are a vulnerable group because they are beneath the law. Decriminalization fixes that.

Neither do I, but these women would be their own bosses; they would start coops. and be partowners. After expenses (rent, utilities, miscellaneous expenses, taxes, insurance, et cetera), they keep the money they earn.
