This is a serious blog.
My family has never been the richest, and something terrible happened yesterday. We have a farm, as you know. We have five acres, and my neighbors just put one acre up for sale at 1.6 million, and it sold. Now, we bought our property for a quarter of that. So, the city bought their property, and is putting in 7 new subdivisions. We just spoke with our tax agent, and if this goes through, or property taxes will go up 1000%. So, we're gonna have to move. Soon. But what happens to my animals? The place just got zones for urban. That means limit of 6 animals. FML. Pleas cheer me up, somehow. I....Just don't know what to do.
First, call your Local SPCA, they can take any animals you cannot keep and find them good homes.
Other than that, that is all I have.
If your neighbour sold and acre for £1.6mil. And you have 5, when you move you can sell the land for £8mil, which you could invest in a place to keep the animals (unless your renting, but then you probably wouldn't have to deal with the tax)
4199218 that's what we might do, and no, we are not renting.
4199228 Good and just use what's left to enjoy life
Beat the shit out of ur neighbors that is what I would do
Just hope for the best and everything may turn out fine.
Get a lawyer and a tax agent who can help to find some kind of law that protects you and your family.
All I can say is I'm sorry. The government and anyone with that kind of power just don't care.
I really do feel sorry though.
But your family will get a huge amount of money and if reinvested with thought, it can lead to much good to both you and the outside world.
Oh god...*hugs*
