Hello all! I've been really productive lately! I have been doing edits non-stop for like the last week. Part 2 of Chapter 4 for Joker's Wild is going really smoothly, although I've learned that setting a release date just jinxes me, so I am going to avoid that. I am still ironing out a few kinks, but it is solid. Recently however, I've been making some much needed edits to chapters 1 and 2. I've finished most of my edits for chapter 2, I might make a few more tweaks to make it fit in better. The events don't particularly change, but I have added some lore as well as reinforced the motivations and direction of the story for ease of understanding. If you want to know what you missed out on, I'd primarily read the plant scene in the editor's house and the computer scene with the Pinkie Pie computer. As for edits for chapter 1, I have decided to do a complete overhaul of the events in the chapter. I realized it doesn't identify the type of bond between Calypto and Tumbleweed in the way that I wanted it to, and there is a lot of stuff that is either not funny or a little too cringy for me on rereading it. The events aren't going to be too different but the dialogue and conversations will really change. If you enjoy the story so far but don't feel like going back, I think you will be just fine. The only items of consequence of the chapter is that two strangers become friends in a world where finding a person who operates on the same wavelength can be next to impossible, and in knowing that you have to hold onto the friends that you have, it can be worth diving into a brewing shitstorm just to hold on. It is a chance meeting that shapes the future. A fated meeting. That is all you have to know. If you like the characters and want to see more of them, it might be fun to check back to it.
As for some teaser, the next section focuses on Calypto and Scapegrace. The group is split, but they all have their purposes. Everything will converge on the Ministry of Arcane Science facility.
