Annnouncement and prewiew after the break.
Like I joked above, I got a little free time this weekend and decided to write something, but got writer-blocked like a boss, so I decided to do something that was long overdue.
Edit this shit.
Look, I read my fic, just because I had nothing to do, and I cringed badly at some things I did on the early chapters. From typos to things I don't know why I even put on the fic on the first place, I decided I should edit the chapters to lessen the cringeness.
I edited the chapters 1-9 (Goodbyes and New Begginings to Who Needs Wings To Fly), changing a few things along the way.
If you want to re-read to see how I did, thanks. If not, the most important changes:
- Better describing on Fairy and Scarlett
- Bella's disguise changed from a shih-tzu Diamond Dog to a corgi Diamond Dog.
- The ending of Fairy's flashback (Scarlett's freakout) was almost completely changed, this one I recommend reading again.
- Luna's description on the others on the chapter Fun in the Lake was edited so she doesn't seem like an asshole, and she also doesn't know about Viper's reason for being reluctant.
- Changed Spike's birthday date. The way I wrote it, it would occur during winter just after Heart's Warming when it should occur during spring.
Now, I actually wrote a little part of my next chapter. It's not finished, and I may change it before I post it, but here:
Sapphyra stared at me for a moment before blinking. “I’m a what?”
I calmly took a sip of my milkshake before responding. “You’re a Dancer.”
We were at the Sugarcube Corner, just after our training. We all ordered a milkshake and a cupcake to eat while we talked. After our training, I decided to finally say to them what their classes were, since I finally decided on Sapph’s class.
“How the hell is Dancer a fighting class?” She asked with furrowed brows.
“I’m with her on this one, what?” Eclipse asked as he shook his head.
“Just like an Assassin doesn’t mean having to kill, Dancer doesn’t mean having to dance.” I rolled my eyes. “It means your attacks will follow the way you move. On the battle, your blades spun just like you, and when you finished on that pose your orb attacked.” I pointed out.
Sapphyra looked at her weapon. The orb was floating just between her wings, and the blades floated like they were hung on a chain like my Chasers. “So, I move and my weapons move with me. I still don’t see why the name is Dancer.”
Scarlett lifted her finger. “Lupine told me this one. She said a Fire-wielder summoned fire and used dance moves to control it. It was the first one to do that, and a lot of people started fighting like that too. They stated calling themselves Dancers after that.”
Sapphyra nodded. “I see. Well, if you say so.”
“Like I said before, you don’t need to actually dance.” I said. “Just control the blades and spells like you’re already doing.”
“Well, I like being called a Fighter.” Eclipse said as he reclined on his seat, putting his hands behind his head.
“Swordsman, huh? I like it too.” Spike nodded with a smile.
“Archer. Not a big surprise, but it fits.” Soul said.
“Y’know, if someone else called me a Brawler, they’d hear a few harsh words; but since it’s you, I think you have a reason to do that.” Luna said.
“Do you like fighting with your sword or with your own fists?” Scarlett asked.
“I love my sword, but beating someone up with my own hands is much more satisfying.” Luna admitted.
“There you go.” Scarlett concluded and took a sip of her own milkshake.
Yeah, another filler. I have another idea on what will happen, but I don't know how to write it. Anyways, see ya on the next chapter, I guess.
