Day 3: What inspired me to be a Digital Animator. · 4:34pm Sep 3rd, 2016
Oh… This was a long time ago. Sometime before I entered High School, I was given a tour around. One time, the student showing us around said, “Seniors have the opportunity to do a Senior Project where they can make what they can in place of finals.” My mom added, “You could even make a movie.”
That popped into my head immediately, and so I began drawing art like mad, using the free time we had left after making the main project. The project was to be a stop motion version of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and I got a script done. Then came the more physical stuff. Stop motion puppets need armatures and getting them in bulk takes money and space. In the lull, I expanded further, making episodes for a TV spinoff of said Senior Project. It’s by my Junior Year that I got a laptop and started to get things rolling. But as I don’t know squat about animation, I decided to a series of short clips.
Since then, I have largely been out of the funk when it comes to animation. Living in my parent's house, rarely getting a job, and now two years back I am now on a trend of leaving said house permanently. Now I am getting back in the saddle, and my artwork is far better than the ones done eight years ago.
Soon, I may graduate sooner than I think. My school GPS says otherwise, but I can’t say how. But yeah, I’m getting back to animation. Hopefully, I could revive my youtube channel along the way as well (I will have to make a new one for my professional work.)
