You know those stories I keep threatening to have restored? Well, it finally happened today, thanks to the glorious god we call "Meeester" when he deigns to grace our presence with a mortal form.
Gratitude expressed as hero worship aside, the stores in question are "FIM:P Bonus Stories," now given the much more creative title "Tales From An Iotaverse," and "Operation: Patriotism," which ... has a lot of history behind it, I'll say.
I deleted it from this site after some bad reviews that really got to me. But in the years since, I have re-evalulated my priorities, and have decided that I want to have on this site. One reason I deleted was because of its huge downvote-to-upvote ration.
But I've since realized that downvotes mean almost nothing serious, and mostly mean that the people who disliked the story deprived me of having a perfect 1: 3 ratio of 9: 27. The story is currently at 9: 28. Just one off! And I doubt more than half the people who did are even still on the site anymore.
So, over the course of the next coming months, as I review and revise the chapters with Troubleshooter, I will be mirroring the chapters from Operation: Patriotism on fanfiction over to here on Fimfiction, as well as chapters for Tales of an Iotaverse, and hope to breath into the story new life, and to let it be judged fairly, on its own merits, not whatever some dumb counter says.
But mostly as a way to rebuke my critics, some of whom were more abrasive than others, because I realize that by deleting the story, they had some amount of power over me, and I cannot accept that. I cannot allow such a thing to happen.
Not only if my school semester wasn't starting back up again and making this more complicated than it already is ...
