A few more Details about Changeling Canon [S7E17]

A few more small pieces of Changeling Canon

In S7E17 "To Change a Changeling" Thorax used an flashback to explain Pharynx's behavior, revealing more canon information about Changelings.
(Note: I will limit this post to the "original" Changelings; the new reformed Changelings aka Changedlings won't be mentioned here.)

    The Changeling-canon expands!

    Time for my third Blogpost!

I just watched the livestream of the latest episode "The Times They Are a Changeling" (S6E16).
Like already suspected we got new information about Changelings; some fanon had been proved right, while some other had been disproved. I'll try to collect all new facts in the following list after the side-break.

Ember here, Ember there, Embere everywhere!

So, a few days ago (16. April 2016) aired the episode "Gauntlet of Fire" (S6 E5).
It introduced a new dragon character: Ember.

Today I looked at the feature box, and 6 out of 7 (!) of the new stories contains Ember.
It doesn't happen very often a new (background) pony dragon gets that amount of attention in such short time.

The Changeling-canon expands! · 4:53pm Aug 20th, 2016

(If you are interested in things like that, have a look at The Changeling Research Group)

Changelings: (no particular order)
- can talk as individuals.
- even drones can have an individuality.
- have individual names. (Or the ability to give themself names; real names, not just numbers and letter like in some fanon)
- have long, forked tongues. (Somehow like snakes; is that a new one?)
- don't (seem to) have an everyling-controlling hive-mind; or at least Thorax was able to 'disconnect' himself.
- can change into non-living objects. (Thorax disguised himself as a stone.)
- can change into non-ponies. (Thorax changed into Spike.)
- can only feed on emotions directed at them. (If they could feed on undirected love from the air, Thorax wouldn't be starving in the Chrystal Empire.)
- are hatching from green eggs. Lot's of eggs. Seemingly at the same time.
- have a white carapace as larvas (except the face). It seems they will molt at some point.
- living in underground-hives. (At least it looks like that.)
- have a "nursery-hive, where all the eggs are hatched; the ceiling is utilized, too.
- live in a place called "Changeling Kingdom"; not "Empire", like im most fanon. (That I kow of.)
- can't simply be undisguised by spells. [But Twilight did during the wedding; why didn't they just check everypony? Maybe it can't be done by harmless spells. She was in a battle, after all. Needs further discussion.]
- can blink and cry tears.
- can learn to generyte love themselves, so they become self-subsistent. (At least Thorax hopes so.)
- can be female (Chrysalis) or male (Thorax), according to the voice. Maybe this is a queen-drone-thing.
- are children from Chrysalis. (As in she is her biological mother.) [Unsure, needs further discussion.]
- can change into something they don't have to see; maybe even their imagination is enough. (Thorax changes into 'Chrystal Hoof'. If CH had existed before, someone would have recognized him.)
- have the ability to disagree with what the queen says. (Even if itz seems uncommon.)
- drones don't have a buzz-voice like queens. (Thorax vs. Chrysalis)
- while the Changelings from the invasion have green magic, Thorax has blue. [Maybe because he left the hive? Since Chrysalis has green magic... Needs further discussion.]

(Will maybe get updated later.)

Update 2016.08.22: Added 2 points; rewrote some comments to previous points; improved formatting.

How about you shove it up your ass. Nobody watches your profile.

Where did that just came from?!

First: I already wrote I did that mostly for myself and for the The Changeling Research Group. If you are interested in the subject, you are free to join it and contribute your own observations.

Second: If nobody watches this (I expected as much), why are you here, and even bothered yourself to leave a comment?

Third: Why did you even write a comment like this?! I mean, seriously: look here: "The basic rule of thumb for comment posting is the same for behaviour across the site: don't be a dick."
There is absolutely no need to write something like that.

Other than that, have a nice day.

4194936 Well, when some little turd like PonyThunder does something awful to these characters, and the only one who actually calls him out on how horribly skewed his story is gets deleted, blocked, and deleted again...one seeks an outlet.

Talking about that one?
If you wrote them like your first comment in this blog here I'm not surprised at all.

I had read the story too (which is probably how you found this post in the first place) and yes, Spike's punishment was kind of "harsh". Twilight later realised it herself.

"That...was probably a bit too much," said Twilight.

I had a look at your stories and some of your comments, and it seems you are a Spike-loving person (even admin of a Spike-centered group), who can't stand Spike simply pushed aside and/or treated (admittedly) questionably (like in the story), so you have to defend him (like you said yourself: "does something awful to these characters").
There is nothing wrong with that, but that's still no excuse for ranting about stories (or anything in general) which doesn't fit your expectations.

Don't forget: It's a story, and only a story. So no need to overreact about it. You can vote your opinion, but keep it civilized (what you apparently did not).
(I'm overanalyzing again, right?)

one seeks an outlet

Maybe, but not like that!
Honestly, at first I even considered reporting you, since your blatantly insult came literally out of nowhere (we had no previous direct contact I would be aware of).
Obviously you are on thin ice like that, so please keep it down in the future. Not only here, but everywhere. After reading some of your stuff I'm positively sure you can do it.

(Note: The whole comment is not intended to be insulting or anything like that. I only want to clarify my opinion on this.)
