    On losing a parent

    All,

I was planning on writing a 'state of the writer' post this weekend to update y'all on what I've been up to. But, well, I suppose the state of me right now is everything all at once.

My mom passed away suddenly yesterday. She was 77.

Daring Do and the Red Shoe Diary

For years, since nearly the start of the series' rise to international fame, the rumors have persisted: Was there an adult-oriented Daring Do story? Has our intrepid explorer gone down paths far more sordid and saucy than her audience could have imagined?

New Red Shoes Chapter is Live!

After far too long of a hiatus, Red Shoes is officially back with a new chapter!

This time, we'll be hearing from the co-owner of Sugarcube Corner, who has a saucy but sympathetic tale to tell.

I hope you enjoy, and let me know in the comments. Cheers, all!

    Red Shoe Diaries: The Return

    *blows the dust off*

Yikes. I let this sit for way, WAY too long. As I'm typing this I'm realizing it's been 4 years, since this story last updated. That's horrendous, and also entirely my fault. True, lots of life has happened to me, and then there's the world going mad besides. But still, I should NOT have let this story lapse like this. For that, readers, you have my apologies.

Music to use your washing machine to · 11:37pm Aug 1st, 2016

It's amazing how much inspiration and creativity can come out of a single alicorn commandeering your washing machine!

EQD posted this earlier in the day, but I'd be remiss if I didn't signal boost this new piece from a musician by the name of Quicksilver. Entitled 'Celestia's in my washing machine', it's a great, upbeat riff on the same piece of art that inspired my story.

*NOTE: To be clear, this is totally unrelated to my fic. We just happened to be inspired by the same art, just in different ways.

Nicely done, Quicksilver! I liked it a lot! :pinkiehappy::yay:

Now the only question is: What will we see next? A SFM movie? An animated short? Live readings? :trollestia:

I'm holding out for a new brand of detergent

A music for a fanfic? That's pretty rare if you ask me.

Glad to see someone made a music for your fanfic and for the picture. :pinkiehappy:

That is like the way coolest compliment, ever!

Heh, I wish. To be clear, the music is wholly unrelated to the story. It just so happened that the two of us were inspired by the same art, but in different ways. :)

noice does he know you wrote a story. and does the artist know his work inspired both your story and a song?
