It's starting to get a little scary in there. I REALLY try to respond to reader comments, but the number of them is starting to challenge me. And the content is getting... dicey. Not ugly yet, but dicey.
Honestly I'm surprised it's taking this long to get truly ugly. But at some point, I'm just going to stop looking at them.
Internet popularity is a mixed bag. I'm delighted that people like this story! I'm also seriously afraid of internet dickwad syndrome. I'm a sensitive guy. I'm easily flustered. I worry. 
Rest assured I'm going right back to writing overwrought bisexual clop after this. The next chapter of Scotchie will hopefully be up this weekend; it's done -- in fact the whole story is done -- I just like to take my time on revisions.
And thanks for reading, guys! I love you all for it.

I'd expected some push back on this story, but not from that line!
Well, if my line of argument takes off, it might distract people from Twi's sexism. That's about the only positive I can see for it, though.

You the thing to let wrote a very good story on something topical and made a great satire out of it using the characters out of your (and our fandoms) favorite characters. It was terrific and well done. Please don't worry about the idiots who are so wrapped up in this debacle lessen your joy over such a job well done. It was funny and enjoyable and thought-provoking. What more can an author ask than the praise it has received? You did good, good sir!
