Thanks! After I had a breakthrough of sorts with one of my programs, it started to look more uniform. That and I redraw lots of other people's sketches and tried to adapt a bit with their style.

I sure hope so. Hopefully one day I can get a computer that can run Paint Tool Sai and a drawing tablet.
4091801 I just use a regular tablet and use Art Desk Pro. The one downside is it has a limit to it's layers.

The layers on the program I use for shading are pretty sucky as well. You can only have three, one which is the base lines and colors and whatnot, the background which you can only really change the color of, and two others. I just shade on the third layer and combine it with the second when I'm done with it. Sadly you can't highlight a particular portion to mess with. Gotta erase everything that goes over the lines.
