Priority Change

Despite wanting to work on the next chapter, school has left me with very few time to dedicate to much else.

However, that doesn't mean I haven't had time to do something else related. I've spent my time trying to piece up stuff for backstory and background purposes. As well as story development. I've found it a very fascinating excercise, as it has allowed me to learn of many historical stuff I had no idea of before. As such, writing the next chapter may end up delayed compared to the previous ones. But hopefully I can find the time to put more dedication to it.

I've also considered looking for help for this sub-project. There are things I may overlook, or that could use a second opinion. As much as I like the subject of history, and an interest in alternate history, I don't quite dabble in the latter much. At least not for the kind of scope my story would most likely need. But well, it would probably still take some more consideration before deciding to ask or not.

Anyway, this next week I am actually free from school. Yeah, they're not much of a Summer Holiday, but one week is still welcomed. Of course, they still deemed it necessary to assign homework, so as much as I would've liked it to dedicate much of the week to write the next chapter, that will have to wait until I finish with the former.

Don't worry, I decided to do the same thing by putting my first 2 stories in hiatus until college was done. Now that I have more free time I'll try to write them more.

Focus on school and come back once you have the time to write this with full freedom (and better yet if you learn more about your history while doing this).
