For those interested. Planned length of "The Clockwork Consequence". · 1:19am Jul 4th, 2016
For those of you interested, I wanted to place this here.
The Clockwork Consequence is a personal challenge I'm trying to overcome in terms of story length. It's planned to be a much longer story than usual, and I'm aiming for around 500k words, and I have about 5 different phases of the story planned. So though I'm nearing the end of the first phase, I wanted to let readers know what they're getting themselves into in terms of pacing, and general story direction. Overall I've been hearing a lot of complaints which have demotivated me a bit, but I'm still determined to press on and see if I can finish this story for those who do find some enjoyment out of it. Overall I apologize for long spaces between chapters, it's something I'm also trying to figure out fixing but some days I find myself very inspired to write a chapter, then others I find myself in a rut so it's hard. Either way, thanks for the support for those out there who've given it. It means a lot to me. 
Hey man, I know that inspiration/rut cycle is a killer to writers. I've certainly had it a lot, but the important thing is to keep pushing. Writing when inspired is nice, but sometimes, you just have to climb out of that rut instead of waiting for inspiration to help you. It's tough, but an important lesson to keep writing.
take your time man. i understand too. Everytime i get into a rut, i draw, listen to music, or play Starcraft to free up my brain and my nerves. But i've been writing in between too, so when i do get fully inspired, i just crank out a chapter like nothing.
I can understand the negative comments. i get them too on my stories. But i tend to ignore the hell out of them. I love the story you made. ive even commented at times i think . Hang in there k.
Well, here's what you should know. This is the only story I've ever read where Nightmare Moon's the major(?) villain that I didn't go "Great, a story where Nightmare Moon's the major(?) villain." I'm actually interested in everything that's going on, and I'm excited to see it continue. Godspeed and all that.
I don't mind the long times between chapters because each chapter begins with a summary of the last. It's an interesting AU and an enjoyable story.
I am enjoying the story sofar, and the recaps are nice so I don't have to go and reread the chapter before. Get it done when you can. I don't.mind. it's in my tracking folder so when it up,,dates I'll know.
This AU is interesting. And I am trying to figure out where it's gonna go too
