I'm currently in a rut. Some crappy things happened in my life in the last month or two and it's been distracting me. And it doesn't help that we're not busy at my job so I just sit and stew in my depression all day. In other words, there won't be a Ponyville Duet update any time soon. I honesty wrote about 1/2 of the next chapter and I know what I want to happen, but I'm having trouble making it happen organically. And I really don't want to publish something that's no good. Also the new season of MLP is making me sad. It feels like there's 1 gold episode after 4 poopy ones and that's not a good ratio.
So, screw it. I'm putting Ponyville Duet on hiatus until I feel a little better and can make a better story.

It's alright dude. Writing is an art, and art takes time, it can't be rushed. You just need to do what you need to do until you are ready to write again. Just relax and do something you enjoy until motivation hits. We'll still be here when you get back. I just want you to promise us that you won't abandon this story completely. I mean I understand if you want to and it is completely your choice whether you do want to or not. It is just... I have seen way too many good stories die and it is heartbreaking. While I respect the author's wishes if they want to cancel a story or not, it still doesn't make the fact of it any less painful.
And when they decide to leave... well... I won't go into anymore detail than that.
Just relax man, we are here and we will wait until you do what you need to do.
